You know, I was looking at our DNA profiles again and can I just say how impressive Steadfast is now that we've seen what 2 metahumans at the top of their destructive power can do?
Steadfast was literally invincible and explicitly could not be harmed at all. He had the greatest form of it in human history. He couldn't even drown, suffocate, or starve. Scarlet Maturity could punch him at full force, and while he would be sent flying, he'd be fine though his clothes probably would get vaporized in the process. Black Swan could hit him with the relativistic ram and he'd be fine. King could try to disassemble his atoms and they simply wouldn't.
Could Catch-22 even reality warp him away? At the peak of their power with all 22, maybe.
All that and the dude was only Potency 2.

Thinking over some ideas for 6 cost which would ideally be decent and use Memoria or Chatroom as a core.
Memoria/Chatroom/Hunch does work if going full support with no durability. Just that the no durability with his base low hit seems a little risky inherently given Chatroom's range limitations and Memoria powers presumably needing to get close to teleport someone out. Depends on the reaction speed maybe?
Chatroom/Bulwark/+1 {Hunch/Soldier X/Millions} works for battlefield support with either a greater durability focus, Energy Manipulation focus, or Clairvoyance tag focus. Theoretically swapping Chatroom for Memoria would allow for a similar type of build as well.
Memoria with Daggermaw/Sewer Rat/Multiplex could be a build with secondary tag focii of transformation and enhanced senses, with some side benefits with shrinking and defense, might be stepping on Handyman's toes a bit though? I don't know if he's that strong, goldnine still killed him. The invulnerability was still limited in some way. Either that, or a metahuman with raw goldnine manipulation would actually be the most potent metahuman killer to exist, more so than any amount of esoteric or biggaton powers. They would be Apiary on steroids, and an instant war with R-Train.

Comes to me more as a battle-maniac who likes fighting strong people, which is a character trope I don't hate and I'd certainly be pretty cool with him were he not exploiting other meta humans for that power.
Emotional or mind control still could work too, as should teleporting him to the other end of a galaxy.

Neither. He's obsessed with becoming strong for one reason or another, probably a Social Darwinist that believes in might-makes-right like Faust/Crown-over-Moon which is also a common trope for shonen villains.
Far as story themes go, he represents the question of "Is a hero's worth measured by how many people he saves, how successful he is at defeating villains, and how many biggatons he can output?"

Impossible if the net modifier isn't at least +0 (assuming a nat 20 doesn't auto win any check), and even then a neutral die has 5% chance. Also, it's funny that we rolled the absolute minimum to get to 20 even with all those bonuses. Even 1 lower would've failed, and I'm guessing Scarlet Maturity wouldn't have needed to revive. The dice must really love drama.

...why does Fish only summarize what Key says? It's not that Key only communicates through nonverbals or telepathy or something. The narrative says that Key "says" things, but never gives any dialogue.
