As to Bloodborne... I hadn't planned on it. Might say that all of the humans with Dragon Sacred Gears got a shot of insight, though.
Makes sense on why the supernatural races haven't been able to memory wipe all the dragon people. The dose of eldritch knowledge isn't in their meat brains where someone can just push reformat, it's burned into their personal fragment of a dragon's soul.

The funny thing is that all the different magical styles passed around will mean that there is at least several people who possess the FF style of magic, meaning that it does removes the 'being good at math' requirement for most basic spellcasting, which can have some huge knock on effects. Not sure on what made the 3 Leaders start the fight without backup, but something tells me it is incredibly stupid from Al point of view and utterly obvious/common sense from the 3 of them.

Well now I'm curious if Al survived or if this DxD timeline is going to need to worry about Als family invading and wiping them out for being dicks.

Alcohol. Issei got a download of transmutation and transformative magics during the Abrahamic fight whilst others got different parts of Al's magical knowledge.

For Issei, this included a lot of principles that could be applied to minor alchemy. Creating magical crystals to store magic is doable but it's slow and they would need to be placed somewhere with a high ambient charge or else manually filled.

Making alcohol, though, already involves crystals filled with the memory of life (Sugar!) and if made on a leyline convergence could pick up a bit more of a charge. Distilling it would further concentrate the charge into something a bit more useful.

He's not talented or experienced enough to make some incredibly high potency spirits. Nor is he good enough to distill a lot of magic into one bottle. If he drinks himself into a stupor right now, he might be able to cast a single fifth level spell. If he was willing to deal with being hospitalized, I suppose it would be possible to drink enough for a ninth level spell.

This seems like the Bastion spirits? Alcohol that acts like potions basically? It could be cool but I am not sure how useful it would be agaisnt anything but mooks in DxD.

Edit: Wait I misunderstood, the alcohol is basically his mana gauge that he uses for spells, sounds like he needs a better liver, might be some biomancy or magitech could help, if not Ddraig could give him a draconic liver I think?

Bruh reading that chapter gave me chills, and it's not because it's cold outside but because the idea of a partial broken masquerade caused by a catastrophic event creating a human faction? Chefs kiss.

Technically a Dragon faction, I believe.
Almost certainly Sacred Gear users, but it could have a couple of unexpected inclusions.
A bunch of mortal SG users backed up for Ophis would be a hell of a thing.

It also sounds like everyone might have been drawn in by Alchemists "Blessed(?) By Bahamut" thing.

A decent chunk of the premise for this started with me asking the question "How can I get Issei to tell Vali Lucifer 'Look, I know Ddraig and Albion have got this whole kiss-kill-kiss thing going on... But I'm a dude. You're a dude. If that's your thing, that's cool... But it's not mine. So maybe, I dunno, chill out? I'm pretty sure my liver will give out in a few years, then you can go lust angrily after the next one. Fifty-fifty odds that it's a chick, am I right?"
This! This is amazing and probably the best blasé version of Issei I will ever see. And all from a half described version of Issei telling Vali a single line!

Did Al survive that fight? Or was the knowledge a sacrifice play.

Cause I could see him gating into the gap and surviving after putting the hurt on. He's a world killer after all.

So? As a result, is Rais on a bad relationship with her brother? Being a Weeb she cannot go weeb out to her hearts content.

A better questions is does anime still exist? The world nearly had a decade of calamities, and a solid half of it was intentional. A near decade of disasters for Humanity, so there's no time for anything but survival.

Anime is MUCH older than Issei, and with the Japanese work ethic I don't think they've had as much of a slow down as you'd expect producing content, but the tone probably changed a lot and maybe there's even more, better Godzilla movies as well.

So there's this implication that the systems set up by The Big Three have all been broken or contaminated, right?

See, Al may have used [Devour] on Micheal, which contaminated the Sacred Gear System, but I think he also used it on Azazel and Sirzechs in the battle.

So that's potential vectors for damaging (or contaminating) the Evil Pieces system and the Brave Saints system... to say nothing of how it may effect their direct underlings or directly gifted inheritors of power.

I'm loving this set up. Hopefully Rias still tries to recruit Issei and gets turned down flat. With Issei becoming paranoid about devils afterwards

From what I know of anime the process is a rush with tons of episodes barely being finished in time one of the recent first eps of an anime even aired 22 odd mins late. Covid as well disrupted a ton of them so things would have been disrupted I'd also imagine meteor atks like Madara's would probably be treated a lot differently. Another interesting thing is if they all got bits of his memories and magic knowledge then some would probably end up with enough to recognise it's from fiction.

Probably not the Brave Saints that got set up in canon after the truce with the help of the devils. Issei here though is still fully human so that hasn't happened yet in the canon timeline. It may have still happened from the butterflies due to Al with there being at least some cooperation between the 3 leaders in fighting him but on the other hand the fallen still have their anti truce faction and it sounds like the devils did a lot of evil stuff which may have disrupted things.

Semi-competent would be the key words, here. He's figured out a way to access magic, sure, but it has some fun and some not-so-fun drawbacks.

Before Reading: Did you woke up next to your naked bed partner and had a thought, 'Hehe, I'm gonna do something with oppai today!'?

After: Noice.

Please give hint who's who, cause I think there's Saji and Siegfried? there in the chat.

I've not seen High School DxD, but it's typical of the fighting genre for the champion-type characters to so outclass their minions/allies/backup that in a fight that challenges them their minions would only get in the way and/or die quickly. So they go without backup because the backup is useless. Alternately their backup only engages the enemies' cannon fodder.
Dragon Ball, Naruto, FIst of the North Star, Yu Yu Hakusho, s-CRY-ed, Hellsing (think Alucard going all out), and many, many more have this.

Sona probably won't be recruiting Saji this time around. He only joined up to provide for his family but now he'll have magic of his own to help and probably a bias against the 3 factions. In fact I wonder if anyone has managed to recruit a Dragon type since the incident? Some forcibly recruited folk may even have been able to escape without going stray thanks to their new magic by either making new bodies for themselves or becoming dragons full time instead of mutated devils.
I don't think you replied to the right thread?
No he seema to be in the right place. There was just a DxD chapter and DxD features Issei going on about oppai a lot and characters named Saji and Siegfried.

You'll be fine. It's a "every myth is real kitchen sink" setting. That's basically all you need to know to start.
Pretty accurate. It's one of those series that I can never get into because despite the universe it's set in having a plethora of backstory and lore to choose from, the story focusses on one of the worst harem protagonists to ever protagonist.

He's actually pretty okay. He is definitely a pervert who objectifies women by default. But he's also got a heart of gold, and he grows out of the worst of it by the end. By the end. It takes a while.

He'll talk nonstop about the glory of boobs and try to spy on people naked. He also, when someone actually asks him out, shuts up, and becomes as close to a gentleman as he can manage, pulling out all the stops for his first ever date. His reward is being murdered, but he tried.

He grows on you. It helps that he has no reason to be a creepy jerk when he's surrounded by people happily consenting to his clumsy advances, being the protagonist of a harem anime.

Mild spoiler, but I do like how it's harem anime that solves the will they won't they. The answer is yes, they will. All of them.
