It doesn't matter if the rifle is something we would have used 40 years ago or not, a single heavy round to the head is going to be dangerous to the Diamond Dogs' infantry.

...With some exceptions, depending on equipment. I'm honestly not sure getting shot in the head by a sniper rifle would do more than just make Insatiable Whale mad, for example.

Yeah, but Jaegar was a hell of a general, so I think he could make it work with the empire also being tied up in fighting the Federation. Even more so if we help him out like our entire build is designed too.

Pft, if anything, the DD's helping should REDUCE the time. The only way it could extend is if the Feds invaded outright, or Max petition for more back up back home in the Imperial Court, which I think is unlikely to happen. He petitioned for the invasion under the reasoning the Gallian Ragnite would be of aid to the empire and he invaded with a small force.

If he asked for more men he would: Be admitting his current forces and the generals leading them, which does include him as the Commander of the invasion force, can't beat a tiny nation that's the IRL equivalent to the Netherlands. He would be asking for help from a court that hates him and he hates even more, so his own pride and hate is unlikely to allow him to ask for aid, and if he did the request is likely to be denied because The Emperor doesn't give a shit about him and all his kids hate Maxy.

The Empire could always invade Gallian and take over after the War with The Federation is over after all. There's no reason to send more manpower to fight the tiny nation when they have The Federation throwing hundreds of thousands and millions of lives at their entire front.

And honestly Gallia being out of the war after seven months, probably less, isn't that bad. If we play our cards right we can probably take credit for ending the war so quickly, meaning that we can get business from the Empire and the Federation in the rest of the EW2 theater.
 
The war doesn't last so long in Gallia, but aren't the Federation and Empire going full tilt outside of it? Business isn't going to end any time soon, and there's the cold war that follows afterwards. In whatever proxy-conflicts begin between these two powers, Diamond Dogs will find plenty of business.

Pretty much, yeah. Hell, I'd say we'd get even more business in a cold war than a hot war due to the nature of our work.

Ohhhhhhhhh yeah. The War lasts for like 4 years I think? I'd have to recheck the lore from VC4 to be sure but I think it's about that. Honestly the fact that the kill count ended when it did is surprising. I honestly thought there would be more then
Ten Million Military Dead all together. Thats less then what Germany lost on their own IRL.
 
Is it wrong I half expect people to offer us money simply to not bother them? Like, here's the mission, the cash and we'll give a bonus if you don't act against us until the season changes.

If we fall into the VC Universe in Gallia like last time should we give Gallia the same deal the Diamond Dogs gave the Seychelles in the original timeline regarding training their armed forces and maybe playing guard dog regarding ant foreign incursions in return for free reign to build up our offshore base on their land?

Could happen, but only if our fame is high enough, like, super duper high, "he was a threat that we couldn't stop and everything we throw at them is useless" type of high.

Besides, if we do that, then it's gonna be boring quest. No offense.

It's not a MGS quest if we didn't have the entire Zoo fultoned into the air and Miller's chemical Burger winning the world over by it's chemical goodness. It kinda makes you want to give these burgers into the VC cast and see their reactions.

most delicious burgers ever....problem is its BLUE...and they will believe that somehow we turned ragnite into something edible...of course the hamburgers that just happen to be extra fuel in emergencies will see the rise of a Pax Hamburger strut dedicated to making Kaz's burgers.

You know, I really want to know Alicia's thoughts in regards to the Blue Chemical Burger. Her opinion on it as a baker, as it were.

Also, the Burger's Blue. You know what else is Blue in VC? Ragnite.

Hell, you can use it as a fake-grenade. Throw a glowing blue burger over and watch people duck and cover to avoid what's obviously a ragnite grenade.

I mean...let Miller and Code-Talker look over the stuff and they fucking MIGHT make the Chemical Burgers with Ragnite Powder. Metal Gear's done stupider shit.

oh hell...what if huey gets his paws on the ragnite and decides that mixing it with the hamburgers and goes cave Johnson with SCIENCE!!! turning our metal gear's armor from DU to Ragnite armor?!?

the sheer fact that it seems ragnite is very explosive would probably be a walking WMA (weapon of mass anniliahtion) at that point.

and the fact that the diamond dogs will become Memetic in the Valkyrie world due to the fact they are all eating burgers made of Ragnite!

edit: and knowing how metal gear physics work...will we end up making science go cry in a corner, or turn tell it shut up, sit down, and let us explain how things should work in our favor.
