For a post I could use a Japanese Senryu poem. Does anyone here can speak Japanese? Is such a poem realistic? "Through darkness the rising sun finds her difficult way to shine again."
Two points here: first of all, the story about Otto Schomek seems to be wishful thinking on behalf of his sister.Of course, there were german who do not murder Poles, like Otto Schomek - but they were very small minority - just like Poles, who helped German kill jews.
Heligoland is as of 1944, with the UT houses placed at a different spot. Project Hummerschere will likely remain a project. So Heligoland won't become a kind of German Scapa Flow.
Rockall is legally just a rock, which is uninhabitable, and no (at least theoretical possible inhabitable) island. But that is in dispute...
plebiscities would be no problem compared to fact, that practically all german from 1944 would vote for NSDAP.There is reason why Allies waited few years with german elections.Regarding the plebiscites, would the german war settlers (1 to 2 million IIRC) plus the volksdeutche from the Nazi-Soviet population transfer (around 1.88 million plus whatever many refugees that fled the Union or the Baltic states before the transfer started) and the 200k yugoslav german resettled "refugees" be allowed to vote? They should be mostly in western poland at this time (cuz of the Nazi's germanization plans ofc), having spent some years living there.
Also, any plebiscites taking place in other annexed/occupied regions? Like nord schleswig (which I'm not expecting more than a couple of towns to vote for Germany and maybe Rømø since it was predominantly frisian at the time IIRC) and Eupen and Malmedy or parts of the Netherlands and Belgium (lots of german areas on the border and the Walloons were very anti-monarchal at the time so there might be a few surprising outcomes).
Edit: interestingly Svalbard has only been populated by a german garrison force for years now, would it now become part of Germany? I'd personally find shared administration to be more plausible though.

Rocks which cannot sustain human habitation or economic life of their own shall have no exclusive economic zone or continental shelf.
I think ATP's post is very highly offending. And wrong. The support of the NSDAP was already very low in 1944. And why should the Stauffenberg group resist, if they were all die hard Nazis? This is the only comment by me to this topic. Anyone, who could read in books could see that.
Did you read my post? do that, and you would see, that all what i said was, that most of germans from 1944 would still vote for NSDAP.How you turned that into All germans are nazis is beyond me.
if you need a beta I can do thatHi folks, my RL issues have not been solved completely, but it's getting much better. I also wrote some updates I will post later.
Maybe you add another crossover ? i never write anything myself, but once i read, that adding new faction usually help in defeating that evil writer block.Hi folks, my RL issues have not been solved completely, but it's getting much better. If you add another crossover then this story is not recognized as of now and unnecessary, maybe omakes if you want that.Maybe you add another crossover? I never write anything myself, but once I read, that adding new faction usually help in defeating that evil writer block.
