We don't have the Fire affinity, we have the Beginning and the End affinities.

Fire is easy for us because the universe began in a high energy state. Though the fact that ice ball is a beginning spell as well as thermal weapon (which also has an ice form) only being beginning, it means that there is more to it than just that.

Rather than thinking in terms of chaos, order, destruction, etc, once we know our affinities it would probably be best to think of things in those terms

Bring someone to the state they were in at the beginning of the day, end the cancer cells, or viruses ability to multiply, if not just end them outright.

Bring them to the state they were before they got their arm cut off, etc.

Though ultimately we need to find out just what exactly having the beginning and end affinities even mean, because there is a lot tied up with those two words :V

Also since you gave me leave to ask away:

Questions then:

Who are the leaders of the other magic factions?

How are the demons faring?

Is there anything you had wanted us to do but we didn't?

Who is behind making anime girl shows?

I somewhat suspect it's the light since they seem to need them but, not going to assume.

Also why does Daiyu's weapon have a higher base damage than ours when she is the defense magical girl and ours is described at turning the air around the edge to plasma?

(this is me just being a bit incredulous that a weapon that turns air to plasma does only 17 base damage, I could make a few guesses as to why ours is lower, but the description of our sword doesn't line up with the proposed damage, which confuses me a bit :V)

edit 2: though the description might be an artifact of the fact that when we first got it before the overhaul to the character sheet and shop it was base 100 damage…

TBH I haven't fully created the other leaders yet.
I have a rough outline of them, but not as detailed as what I have for Karen.

Demons are doing pretty well for themselves.
With all of the Humans breaking promises and the gradual decline of religion, more demons are being created and less angels are being born.

I wanted you to take the train. I wanted you to ask several different questions to Forest Bro, I wanted you to do several different things with Forest Bro.
Oh actually. I also wanted you to pick Mud, Blood & Tears.

That's because Daiyu is supposed to take hits to the face and deal them out.
You are supposed to have a high damage output but be a lot more fragile.
You can buff your sword to do a lot more damage than hers, but hers has a higher base because she doesn't have any sort of buff right now.
 
We we're able to use alpha and Omega to eat a curse off ourselves, I think setting someone on [OBLIVION] from the inside is what we should really do.

Also if we want to pump our magic control we should try picking apart simple runic arrays or enchantments. Like taking apart different parts of a mage light to see what changes.

Can you explain what [OBLIVION] is?

Why would that help?
You would learn a little about Runes, but it's not your magic.
 
Also, somewhat surprised by the lack of -[]Write In... votes for the morning.
I suppose there will be more when you figure out what and who is on base and where.

There were so many things the spirit could have told you, but you just... didn't ask that many questions.
I was expecting something like 10-15 questions a chapter but...

I wanted you to go full Shrine Maiden, it would have been fun...
Also, figure out how to connect with it properly from distance.

To be fair I wanted to spend more time with forest bro but seeing how there was a big plot hook for going to the Clock Tower, I couldn't really think of a way to convincingly convince the thread to stay and ignore it for a bit, and missed a bit of the timing because I was going to go try to argue after we got to town over the border, only for the update we got to town to be the update Morgan called for the plane :V

At that point, while we could always have asked for the pick up to be delayed, it no longer felt right to do so XD.

Obviously shouldn't have waited to make my case until we were finally "safe" :V

Okay but... We could barely figure out how to talk with it using our weird mindspeech, let alone the human wordy words.

Sort of makes it hard to actually ask any questions when we have to frame everything in some kind of way we can make the forest understand.

Also you gave us a warning that something was coming for us if we stuck around... And you're surprised/annoyed that we decided not to stick around?

It was more that you could have fit like, a hundred questions into a day.
But I got so few that three or four took up entire days D:

It sucks when you learn about things in quests that it's too late, I really wanted that over the clockwork too.:(

There was such a need to go go go from the military and the light we rushed there was a feeling of move as fast as possible, it wasn't our fault.

EDIT: like I'm really regretting this now. It feels like something was lost and it's not coming back in the way it was supposed to be the first time. Like we're never going to be able to do this aren't we? I want to go back now damn it.

To be fair, we didn't know how many questions you considered acceptable and didn't want to flood a single vote with like 10 to 20 questions.

If you specifically mentioned that we could ask a max of 100 questions a day or something we… probably wouldn't have made it that high, but would have had significantly more a day

Besides that, we simply didn't have all that much info to start with. Gotta ask questions and get comprehensible answers to get the information to ask more questions - a curious cycle :V

Do the continents network? Is North America bragging to Europe/Asia/Eurasia that it got one of it's forests burned down?
 
Honestly at this point I really don't have many questions? I can't think of anything that wouldn't get slapped with a 'spoilers' at any rate...

Like... I wanna know what the light's deal is. I want to know some of the alternate paths we could have taken. I want to know how much or little we will be potentially restricting our potential and growth by asking Clocktower for help teaching us magic. (Cuz you know preconceived ideas of the way things work could restrict us by placing mental blocks on our power through learning and all that)

But all those are full of spoil, and as for other questions... I don't know what to ask?

I don't know enough about everything to know what would be useful to know and what could be relevant... I cannot think of any questions.

I mean... I could probably come up with a good handful by going back and binging every single post? But I don't have time to do that shit.

EDIT: That and I would spend a lot of it going 'Oh I could ask about X!' And then writing it down, and then deleting it ten posts later when it turns out X was already answered.

Why did Forest Bro like us enough to speak with us? Is it just the Magical Girls' connection to Gaia showing through there? Morgan made mention of the fact "they" have been trying for a while now, and never got a response.
