Loyalty is its own Reward (A Traitor Legion Chapter Master Quest)

Nah, I still feel like that isn't right. Severus earned that through his years of service. No one else alive can claim they fought in the Unification Wars like Severus, or at least no one else in the Chapter.
Again it would honor Severus for his deeds and founding of the chapter where each chapter master carries it in his honor and remebrance

The last veteran of the unification wars even though the rank and file may not know it till they join the Veteran brotherhood

An impaled animal like what shrikes do with their prey seems fitting i think... besides using a raptor seems too much of a call back and folks who remember (there are still some or historians outisde of the inquisition) can put two and two and together and may flag us...
Time for Severus to get into a honor duel when someone with a history degree get angry at him for "falsely" claiming an honor that he couldn't have possibly have.

Just caught up with this quest, it's a lot of fun. Really enjoying the camadrie and squabbling between the marines. And the other factions. I'm a big fan of LOGOS. I'm especially a fan of when the Chapter allies with someone else and just stomps on an enemy.

I was considering doing a Sisters of Battle Order Quest, and was curious what system you were using and if it might be suitable for my own idea.

The QM mentioned early on that it was based on the Chapter Master quest system originally developed by Swordomatic for Glory Or Death and then later used by Torroar for From The Brink. Each one, including ThunderOwl, has something different in their mechanics from the others, so you can compare and contrast them

Is there a single place where I could find the system, or would I have to check that quest?

All 3 use the same base system like I said, there's just minor tweaks between them. For example, in From The Brink, all rolls use a d100, whereas here in Loyalty Is Its Own Reward, most rolls use d10s equal to the relevant attribute of the person or group involved in the action. There isn't a single "Mechanics" post so to speak, but it is pretty simple overall. If you want the specifics of how things like wargear affect rolls though, you'd have to ask the relevant QM directly, but I'd say around 90% of the information can be parsed just by reading the quest though

This talk of Aquillas made me recall an interesring little factoid: during Crusade era wearing aquillas on armor was a rare honour with only the III being allowed to use it legion-wide. That changed during heresy, and at the Siege of Terra it was common among loyalists. But our founders were lost before that, so I wonder: what is their reaction to something that was rare during their time becoming so commonplace in 40k?
I thought of that too. They probably have mixed feelings that they got something that was a rare honor especially on finding out what the III legion has been up to even if they feel after Fulgrim was found and has been busy making them extra prideful.

currently i think we should use the favors we have left for ether Predator tanks, Land Speeders, Vindicators, Whirlwinds or maybe a dreadnought chassis

so i think that we should eventually give each of our captains and honor guard personal weapons based around ether they're fighting style or personality. Anyone have any ideas

Depends I want to first increase our BP so that we can do more Repair do mass Production for the companies before we make masterworks for the Captains

i was thinking ether power of combi fists for Thrax because Logos is the loud one and a lot of times Thrax is tearing enemies apart with his hands
