It has come to my attention that people apparently want to get another god realized. Well, with 3 Toy Maker things coming this turn from the YALDABOATHSMAS Projects (Temple to the Lady of Seasons, Faerie Song, and Offerings to the Crafter of Merriment), coupled with the near-completion of the Polar Tower (secondary god projects seem to have a small effect on the main god from what Bird has said),
and said Polar Tower completion would give us the excess Warp to do one of the priciest Toy Maker projects? Well, now seems to be our best opportunity to
ever get a new god to our roster.
To that end, these plans achieve four main goals: massive Wonderpark buildup (as we saw with Faerie Shrines, they have a close connection to the Toy Maker), Supercharging the Polar Tower (which has the double effect of boosting the Toy Maker pantheon
and giving excess Warp), expanding the pantheon (with Temples to the Lady of Seasons, the Fool (which may help with Miles Schwartz),
and the Drunkard), and using that excess Warp from the Polar Tower Supercharging to get the 2nd set of Toy Maker Rites.
For an in-depth breakdown:
- Wonderpark is boosted with Archaeology!, Tacchis Holo-Tag, Wonderpark Space Docks, and Sandscorn Water Park.
- The Polar Tower is powered by the Alkemote Bottling Facility Mountain Blood (turbo-charging our initial foray into alchemy), LumSoft Drivers (spreading the effect into cyberspace), Ecto Detector (making ghosts/spirits stronger), and the Peer Review Board (which would probably boost something about Hobbgrotts since the Polar Tower would partially work because they believed it worked)
- Additionally, Bird mentioned that getting the Polar Tower with the World Tree would likely have a pretty big boost to our Wyld magics, and combined with Song of the North I'm hopeful to have a similar effect on Teklia's Vita that the Lesser Engines of the Assembly did.
- The Temple to the Lady of Seasons would bolster Faeries and might lead to weather powers, the Fool is notably antiChoas in that they can thwart long-term planners (and when I asked Bird about using it to help Miles Schwartz, they were receptive to the idea), and the Drunkard boosts all our allies Rep (which synergizes very nicely with BATTLEZONE COMBAT BEER).
- In addition to the above, the Toy Maker is directly empowered through his 2nd set of Rites, which we haven't gotten for any god yet, Faerie Song (which would also synergize great with Temple to the Lady of Seasons), and Offerings to the Crafter of Merriment (which is effectively just feeding the Toy Maker power).
- Unrelated to the Toy Maker, I also get all our outpost building done this turn (Red Sun Extraction/Security, Three Brothers Xenoscience Monitors, Iron Crown Xenotheology Outpost, and Emerald Line Agri-Outposts), finally deal with the Phasmid (so when we hire Wintersprite they have one less thing to distract them), build up the H'k in case of more attacks, do Temple Expedition (which we've been sitting on for a long time), and OOG-87's MicroSingularity (we've never gotten past the 2nd teir of character projects, and this is a rare opportunity to go as far as possible). And finally, I'm starting Bond-Technomata, since we've been sitting on that project for ages.
The differences between these two plans are all in EXP: "with Industry" gets manufacturing built up on Tacchis, Trove, Meeklak, and Spra'ang (Bird has been rather pointed in saying how poorly developed our manufacturing is), while "with Ships" gets 2 new Endeavors and the first third of a Valiant.
