Now I find myself wishing MOTHER would have explained herself better, because even though Sphere 001's deal had the clearest terms, it seems like its idea of helping the Tekket includes giving them the foundation for bio-transference.

Here, it's being used on a much smaller scale and as a catalyst rather than the end on itself, but anything involving life force and the C'Tan rings alarm bells.

Also, it seem just natural for the options in the Faith section to expand drastically after the events of the last turn as they could easily bring about a mystic renaissance in Tekket society, but the Assembly hews eerily close to ancient C'Tan worship:

The Assembly: Another movement, the Assembly instead believed that no true gods existed but that they could be created through donations of massive amounts of lifeforce, living metal, and prayer amplified via mind machine interface and directed via Bond-Machinas working as conductors.

Crafting frames of living metal for their gods and offering sacrifices of life force resembles how the Necron started more than anything described about the God-Machine Cults.

It may end up turning differently, though, and the potential risk could be mitigated by faith plurality.

Yeah, life force rituals are powerful, but suspect. We shouldn't push the envelope on them to much, and massive sacrifices of life force in the Assembly is a red flag even without C'tan angle.

Get the shipyard going, and focus on things that improve the fleet (wargames, orbital amusements for stations, smaller nuke tek, fleet compartment). TekShrines to boost EXP since we lost some points, and the leftovers towards finishing TekCrypts. Also grab comm net since this burns through the rest of our network. Finish off crust scanners since we had hints of the one planet having more living metal, hopefully it helps find more.

I don't think the Imperium will jump us frame one when the Warp Storm fades, but I do think that when they inevitably show up again we won't have a turn's forewarning. That means I want all that good army shit done in advance. Building up our economy and technology base was for before things got real. Let's make sure that if we're the starring heroes in Space Assholes 2: The Space Assholes Strike Back we're gonna be prepared.

I'd like to start boosting one of the religious groups so there's less of a vacuum for Malign Influences to slip in, but ultimately we will soon enter a Galaxy that operates on prison rules. Gotta get ready to show we're not a soft target lest other groups treat us like one.
 
just gonna point out that the current leaning plan plan orbital does do security bots which will boost our armed forces a lot and gets deepspace montiors so we have forewarning of imperium attack so it is doing stuff to get us ready for the big dark galaxy

After this turn I'm really tempted to start focusing on things with military uses, but also... Nature conservation like zoos, arcologies, and wryd drones. The academy compartment is overdue, mini nuketek is too.
