Oooooh, you need Moon rocks to create the surfaces that the Portal uses to create its portals.

Really, you get the Portal tech tree and just wanna make portals?
We all know the true goal of that tech tree is the Turret, gunning down enemies with a cute cheer XD

Imagine popping up inside Coil's base and then start plopping down Turrets at every exit.
It wouldn't work, I know. But it would be hilarious.

God, Taylor's reaction to The Fly was wonderful and adorable and the best. She has always wanted that, and now she has it. And its wonderful! Even if using it to spy on Coil is risky, there is a very good chance of getting it back and things going well there.

Now, things are going to get interesting... because Bakuda gets to die. Heh heh heh.

But yeah, things are going to be very hectic very soon.

Also, seconding the Long Fall boots. Taylor needs a pair. Tech Priest needs a pair. Hell, sell the design to the PRT because its fucking amazing and they should have it for the awesomeness of it.

Also, if our Tech Priest doesn't make a Turret Chorus... I'll be sad.

But one of the major things?

I think another's important portal technology is bloody Multiversal Travel. I assume it would only work in wormverse, but if he could get a portal to an empty earth he could build up his swarm freely on... well resources for days.

I say the anticlimatic rute is the best to kill Coil, just inyect Thomas with an inert venom or virus than looks like a comon cold for the first 3 days, at that point the wole 2 temporal lines can't save him.

Getting to the topic of Portal's usefulness, I wonder if the most important technology in the Portal/Half Life universe is included.

I'm of course referring to the Companion Cube.

There are many safe AIs out there. BT from Titanfall is a cinnamon bun, and most AIs from Japanese media are safe too.
It's just that the ones from Portal are hilariously unreliable for comedic effects.

Oh, they are amazing, especially their ability to prevent the wearers from falling on their heads. But they don't give any extra jumping height so I'd say that The Jump is still superior to them. Also, The Jump can enhance the boots to some silly extremes so it will always be a step ahead.

That's assuming Aisha triggers with her canon power. If team moves fast enough she won't trigger at all.

It would take an extremely specific set of circumstances for them to reveal the drone, mostly because it doesn't have any weapons. Coil doesn't tend to do particularly heinous things inside his base, not without Dinah, and if he orders an attack on someone the team will move to intercept his mercenaries, not to attack Coil directly.

And to all that you need to add that he'll be laying low while he rebuilds his operations.

I could stage an assault on NASA, but I decided to remove the moonrocks from the equation. The Portal Gun that Peter will build won't need moonrocks.

If they move fast enough, she won't trigger from this.

That would totally work but Peter needs first to know who Thomas is, and then needs to create the virus. Something that Portal won't help him with because such a boring killing method would be antithetical to Cave Johnson.
 
Mmm, there were stasis chambers in Portal, could make holding super villains easier... not, considering the whole fucking Brockton Bay PRT system has more holes in it than Swiss cheese in the middle of a gang war.

How about a virus that starts out as a cold then after 3 days he blows up spurting out a fountain of frozen magma or something?
