So... I think we succeeded at the Presses, barely. Unless a 4 gives a failure that puts us negative?

Guildmasters support us. The High Clergy love us. We barely failed The Streets though, unless Local Spirits or High Clergy gives us a bonus to that action? Otherwise we get to see if soft power can beat hard power.

Screw the Conspiracy failed hard - and that was the only action we took to disrupt them, so they are probably going to be able do whatever their action is.

Local Spirits succeed however, so hopefully that helps us next turn. Pray the Event Chains don't trigger doom for us all.

By Oscaria's power!
EDIT: applying for Ophelia's position.
Aura threw 1 100-faced dice. Reason: great oskaria bless the roll Total: 99

Terrible luck this turn. The string of good RE rolls had to end eventually. Let's see what madness has been unleashed this time and if we can survive it or exploit it.

Hm. You know what?

Event Chain 3: The Wilderness Strikes Back

Random Event Roll: 10

The Beasts of Autumn
fires off. Supernatural beasts tear across the land, boars goring those unfortunate to be in their way as the beasts the size of houses trample through the streets. Town walls are surmounted and destroyed, the beasts enhanced with the full fury of nature slamming against the bastions of civilization.

But the people are not without their own defenders. Without their own heroes.

And in this time of peril, Ophelia dons the garb of war.

The question is not whether the channeling will be successful - the question is whether she will be in fit state after flaring the true might of Oskaria. Oskaria, for its part, does not want to see Ophelia harmed - rather, Oskaria wants to see Ophelia strengthened.

So let's have one more roll. This one roll will count for both rolls - an artifact of an inelegant system.

Piety
The Blade of Oskaria

DC: 23. Roll: 20.

Piety
The Haft of Oskaria

DC: 28. Roll: 20.

@huhYeahGoodPoint, do these actions involve spell or runework? Or 0erhaps involve negotiating with local or land Spirits, given that it's animals going nuts?

Those will be part of the upcoming Interlude: The Beasts of Autumn, but for this specific roll about whether Ophelia can control, withstand, and improve herself from all the godly power Oskaria is about to dump in her frame, neither the Gnarled Rod nor the Wintercore Wand apply.

I mean, really this thing is a roll for degrees of success - "failing" both thresholds would've been better understood as "succeeding in bringing out Ophelia-Oskaria with complications", the middle zone that you've fallen in would've been "succeeding in bringing out Ophelia-Oskaria without complications and nothing more", and passing both thresholds would've been "succeeding in bringing out Ophelia-Oskaria and Ophelia gets buffed", so. No real consequences for failing to meet the second threshold.
