Yeah, I'll be switching my vote. Oramus is just too interesting to pass up and it isn't as overdone as Malfeas.
[X] Paradox
[X] Paradox
*tilts head* Okay, nothing to say here: you're completely right. But as of now it isn't possible for Suzaku to become a Lunar: they are survivors, and Suzaku is certainly not. Unless he clears out his act and starts living for real. Until it happens no Lunar Exaltation will grace him.I think he'd be the most thematically fitting choice.
The Exalted fandom spends a lot of time talking about Solar/Lunar romances, but it's important to remember that Solar/Lunar pairs can be non-romantic nature. Overall, Suzaku was probably Lelouch's greatest enemy as well as Lelouch's greatest friend, while remaining his equal and opposite in a way that other characters never were throughout the series.
And I really don't want him to be our lunar mate of all goddamn things.*tilts head* Okay, nothing to say here: you're completely right. But as of now it isn't possible for Suzaku to become a Lunar: they are survivors, and Suzaku is certainly not. Unless he clears out his act and starts living for real. Calling it now.
That, and murdering his father and his death wish that flies in the face of almost everything he claims to beI think what galls people the most about Suzaku is his hypocrisy. Him calling Lelouch/Zero out for being a terrorist, while cheerfully ignoring how the Britannian Empire condones and enacts enslavement and genocide.
It's kind of like, say, a French collaborator who joined the Waffen SS condemning his German friend for helping those nasty, evil Polish resistance fighters.
We can expand to other charmsets, beyond the first two.can someone explain to me why so many people are voting for paradox ? because while the charms are interesting the fact that his weakness is mundane attacks make me worry for our long term survival , and since we will be able to get other charmsets later should't we get a starting package that won't leave us vulnerable to every random mook under the sun ?
I'm voting for stories, it could be an interesting way of having things. Unlikely to win though.can someone explain to me why so many people are voting for paradox ? because while the charms are interesting the fact that his weakness is mundane attacks make me worry for our long term survival , and since we will be able to get other charmsets later should't we get a starting package that won't leave us vulnerable to every random mook under the sun ?
I'm guessing this one.
What I hate about him is that he dared to think he could 'hardworking' to become the First Knight to take Japan as his personal land/zone, had he ever asked himself what if another 'Suzaku' exist? Like someone too lost his country to Britannia and wanted to do the same thing as him? Conquering more countries, killing more people in the name of Britannia? And then what happened when Suzaku died? I doubt they would "Ah okay Japan is not a colony of Britannia because our First Knight was its master."I think what galls people the most about Suzaku is his hypocrisy. Him calling Lelouch/Zero out for being a terrorist, while cheerfully ignoring how the Britannian Empire condones and enacts enslavement and genocide.

Not really, since Lelouch only needed some charms from Malfeas and Adorjan to tank or outrun the attacks, he doesn't need the entire charm tree to do so.can someone explain to me why so many people are voting for paradox ? because while the charms are interesting the fact that his weakness is mundane attacks make me worry for our long term survival , and since we will be able to get other charmsets later should't we get a starting package that won't leave us vulnerable to every random mook under the sun ?
weeeeeell if that's the only problem than a Lunar's Knacks DO allow them to change their gender (or Luna might find just it funny)
Ninja who can infiltrate anywhere? Checked.
Supermaid who tends to her masters' need and protects them? Checked.
Loyal to the bitter end? Checked.
I get your point, that's why Sayako fits the theme. I never typed Lunar mate has to submit to Solar. The use of the Lunar bond to explain an instant submissive waifu is part of the reason that the concept sees so much backlash. It's a relationship between equal and opposites: the hero and the monster, the sun and the moon, the Apollonian and the Dionysian. In other words, it's supposed to be Gilgamesh and Enkidu, not the hero and his dog.
