I wouldn't mind a deluded/inverted magical girl. It's not like sanity is a prerequisite to gain a Yozi's attention, after all.

Of course it's absolutely delusional. Any character that assumes she's a magical girl just like her old and now banned Area Eleven cartoons is going to be a bit of a wack job. That's what makes it such a fun idea, and adds huge amounts of contrast to the majority of our other infernals.

Let's be honest, she'd be no worse than Akio already is and Lelouch is already bemoaning the horrible PR he has to work with. You'd think the Yozi would use better names and terms for their stuff.

...ok, just thought of how this MIGHT work. But you have to write it. Her Patron would need to be the Ebon Dragon. He wants her because self-deception is still deception. In his vision dream to her when she Exalts he tells her how much of a sad dragon he is because the mean, mean evil sun king who spends all his time in the Jade Pleasure Dome while the world suffers terribly locked him and all his friends away, and they can't come and make things all better and exact GREAT JUSTICE!!! until she helps to free them.

It's totally something he'd do.

Pretty much! Followed by gawking at how her new allies are clearly not translating their lingo right. There's no way that demons can work towards love and justice! It must be the usurpers fault! Yeah!

Not like she's totally wrong about the Solars fucking shit up for the Yozi. And making the Neverborn. I guess she'd find things way more agreeable after learning her history. The reason everything is awful is because being a Yozi is literally awful.

It's like if someone cracked your skull open and scooped out all the parts that let you be good and decent. The Yozis are a product of the Solars who mutilated the Primordials. They're pitiable. I can see a magical girl thinking something along the lines of "I know that if you weren't ill, you'd want the best for people, so I'll do it in your stead!" Basically idealizing the good and handwaving the bad as something that isn't their fault.

She'd have to be either a Sourge or a Malefector, though, since I'm like...95% sure those are the only two Castes with non-claimed slots left.
 
What slots do we actually have left? I know I've got an Eddy-Scourge (who should hopefully be ready for posting sometime this weekend), but I'm not sure who else claimed a spot that hasn't posted their omake/character yet.
 
All this talk about delusion magical girl reminds me of this character.


she's Tsugiha Yojirou, a side character from Medaka Box, a delusional girl who wholeheartedly believes that she's a magical girl from another world.

Ok, just checked the remaining Infernal slots, and I was right when I said only Malefector and Scourge slots still had openings. There are 3 of either, and the possible Patrons are: Malfeas with 1 slot, Cecelyne with 3 slots, Adorjan with 1 slot, the Ebon Dragon with 2 slots, and finally Cythera with 1 slot.

For the delusional Magical girl, I personally think a Ebon Dragon Patroned Malefector would be a better fit.
 
I'd go with Scourge caste favoring Malfeas. Fast, flying bulletstorm with lots of flashy effects and a "befriending" ability (Magnanimous Warning Glyph: Be my friend or else!)

For unclaimed spots there's three Malefactors and two Scourges left.

Current claims:
1. You, for a Ebby-Scourge
2. Me, for a Malfean Malefactor
3. One Fiend of Ta'akozoka, one Defiler, and one Malefactor by others.

That leaves one more Scourge, and two more Malefactors, IIRC.

And now I suppose I have one Ebby spot I need. I need to decide what to make her.

Nuts. Well, there's still a Cytherea slot it seems. Fighting for your Friends is definitely a magical girl trope.

And Nanoha starts at 9 years old, but she's got several other series in which she is older. In any case, I'd just suggest basing it off her, not making a direct cross/expy. We've had a mix of original characters and straight-up crosses. I'd have preferred more originals because it's sometimes difficult for me to not pigeonhole them into their original archetypes.

Ohoho! A magical girl that uses ranged attacks would be ideal in combat, no use in getting up close when you can stay a safe distance and be mobile. Of course there would be liberal use of 'purification' to cleanse evil. I was wondering if there were charms useful against the undead for that purpose too.

Probably want Cecelyene, then; Sandstrike Blast is a decent ranged attack, and she could 'purify' people by turning them into creature of darkness via candied locust.

The Ebon Dragon has ranged attack enhancement Charms, so I can work that in either way. I need to know whether I should go Malefactor (more support focused, grants happiness by granting wishes [people owe magically enforced favors] and feeding the hungry and becoming beloved [people are magically made to revere her]) or Scourge (combat focused, she runs really fucking fast like Milly [aka Magical Girl Storm Passion]).

I personally think you should go with a Malefactor. I think we could use a few more support characters, as a good number of our Infernals are crafters, social manipulators, or combat monsters. Someone willing to go work to aid others achieve their goals would be quite useful.

Malefactor sounds perfect for her.

She's going to have heapings of denial and hands over ears style nopes, only for it to be justified by learning how the Yozi became Yozi. It'll be great! Hahaha~

Either way, seeing how Britannia treats people is absolutely unforgivable. How people can just shrug and walk away from degradation and violence towards the helpless is completely against everything she'd have learned from her childhood idols after all.

Ok, though I will note if she's a Scourge then she'll be able to train directly under Storm Passion/Milly. :p
