Green Sun, Black Shadows (CG/Exalted)

Out of curiousity, do you guys think we'll be seeing any of the Shinma in this quest? Lelouch is probably the best exalt for finding/treating with them. This is nothing to say of CG's World of C. kinda reminds me of what a Shinma of individuality would look like, or an aspect of the Shinma of existence or something. I mean we already talked about making an incredibly powerful Ishvara into an artifact, why not track down and wield Ishiika while we're at it?

Edit: hell. Oramus sounds vaguely like a Shinma himself; he who defines what is possible by embodying impossibility.

The Pantheon souls are homebrew stuff.

The canon method to getting Third Circle Demons is to go the Devil Tiger route. At Essence 8 you can take the Charm The Path of A Thousand Whispers, which lets you create up to (Willpower + Compassion) souls.

For the Pantheon homebrew stuff you can have up to (Willpower + Compassion) Second Circle Demons out in reality at a given time with the Essence 4 Charm, though hypothetically you could have more in your inner world.

can zero able to have Devil Tiger in future or just Pantheon?

how one green prince become a yozi? through heresy charms?

does yozi have a idea that their servants can become yozi themselves?

yozi zero would be more powerful than normal yozi as he was not crippled by heaven is it not?

In order:
Probably

A GSP can become an actual Yozi through learning (Yozi) Cosmic Principle. This is different from the Devil-Tiger tree, as the former turns you into a clone of whoever you learned from.

No. And if they do find out, they'll probably take drastic measures. Like murder.

No. a Devil-Tiger, while possessed of a freedom and variety the Yozis don't have, doesn't approach the level of power they can throw around. It's a trade-off of horizontal growth instead of vertical growth.

Yozis have loads of souls. Oramus has at least 20 (Mursilis, the Skittering Jungle), Adorjan has at least 18 (Jacint) and so on. I'd wager that they have between 15-25 souls, a number that probably changes over time as the Yozis argue and make major decisions.

can you explain this points?

devil trigger can be achieved more quickly but offers lesser power while Parthenon offers more power but take more time to achieve that much power???
So, in terms of about everything, Pantheon charms are both more powerful and quicker than Devil Tigers.

To become a Devil Toger requires Essence 6, which means at least 100 year old Lulu. In addition, it only replaces the (Yozi) general charms with the Lulu general charms (Excellencies, Sorcery, etc). The rest of your Lulu Charmset you have to buy all the way up from E2 again.

In addition, the charm that lets you make 3rd Circle demons, on making new souls is Essence 8 (at least a thousand years old by then), and takes a Season of feeding motes to a cocoon to happen.

Whereas we've already started on making new souls, and we don't really need to buy Lulu charms since we've already been purchasing charms that will fit our character and will make us powerful.

Devil Tiger Charms were always kinda an experience Sink, with no real benefit. A really cool Exp Sink, but an Exp Sink all the same

There's two paths an Infernal can take. By learning (Yozi) Cosmic Principle, the Infernal abandons his humanity and his exaltation, becoming an exact duplicate of the Yozi in question. For example, if you learned (Malfeas) Cosmic Principle, you'd become an exact clone of Malfeas, gaining his attributes, abilities, powers, charms, memories and all sundry items. Basically, there'd be two of the same Yozi.

This is a phenomenal amount of power, but the cost is an extremely narrow-minded focus on the Yozi's purview; authority, heirarchy, indulgence, greed, etc. Nothing else matters.

The Devil-Tiger tree is something unique to the Infernal. They generate an internal world, create a soul pantheon for themselves and create the charmset of a new titan, but they are still fundamentally an exalted mortal.

Pantheon charms are in an odd spot. Earthscorpion and Aleph created them to explore alternatives in their Kerisgame system, so they don't entirely match up with the canon Devil-Tiger tree. It's important to note that the Pantheon charms are homebrew, and may not make sense when combined with canon charms.

interesting, so homebrew staff allow zero to become a unique existence without being just a copy. he can chose what he want to become without compromising, does it mean he still have to sacrifice his humanity?

The regular DT tree does that. Pantheon charms just get you subordinate devas a lot sooner.

Whether or not he sacrifices his humanity is an iffy topic. He still remains fundamentally the same. A hun and po soul with an exaltation in the middle. However, he'll have an entire world in his soul and his thoughts will take on lives of their own, while he wields the powers of titans as well as magics they never could have imagined. Is such a being still human? Infernals, more than any other exalt, represent a dramatic and permanent change, taking in powers that don't have the slightest thing to do with humanity. Simply increasing your essence rating and learning new charms might be enough to declare yourself inhuman.

Yeah, many Infernal Charms fundamentally change you in exchange for power, either physically or mentally. Some of these are pretty cool and have no real downsides, but others make you think long and hard about whether they're worth it.

Examples:
Witness to Darkness makes you able to see perfectly in the dark and lets you be better at seeing through the deceptions of others, but on the other hand you get a small penalty when acting in sunlight and you have a harder time being honest.

Murder is Meat allows you to regenerate motes and be nourished by killing things, but you lose your ability to feel compassion for mere mortals.

Nightmare Fugue Vigilance lets you ignore your need to sleep, but when you do sleep you will always have terrible nightmares.

Cosmic Transcendence of (Virtue) fundamentally changes how you think about one of your Virtues. For instance, the version dealing with Compassion makes it so you think of it in terms of the greater good, having no issues with sacrificing a million people if it will save a billion, but if you want to take an action that shows immediate Compassion but goes against some greater good you have to spend Willpower.

And not one of the above can ever be turned off. You're stuck with them.

[X] Help the Lunar
-[X] Stunt: For the time being the enemy of your enemy is your friend, and its likely in both of your enlightened self-interest to work together. You draw your Hellcaster in one hand, while silently giving hand signals to the Dark Green Fangs. From your lofty position above the two combatants, you wait a few seconds until your target is turned away from you by the dance of death he is engaged in. Then you take aim and fire three shots at the unsuspecting Dragonblooded knight's back while he is distracted by dodging the Lunar's latest attacks. Five Anhules materialize in a circle around your foe and join the attack, while you draw a bead on the enemy for your next shot.
-[X] Actions: Draw weapon, command Anuhles, aim action for one turn, try a sneak attack with a gun. Don't flurry anything but the three attacks.
-[X] Charm Use for the sneak attack: First Ebon Dragon Excellency x 4, Ebon Dragon Inevitability Technique; 4m from Internal pool, 1 WP spent
-[X] Use Shadow Spite Curse to hinder the Dragon Blooded if absolutely needed, making his attacks less likely to hit the Lunar and or otherwise succeeding in his actions
-[X] Instructions for materialized Anuhles: Attack and don't let up. One or two should try to tie him up in melee while the rest attack at range. Switch them out as the fight continues to minimize damage due to his anima flux.

The only Yozi of whom we know the Canon number of 3rd circle souls is TED, given his stats in RotSE. I don't remember the exact # but it was the lowest possible, given all of his attributes & virtues are rated 0.

A repurchase at Essence 4 allows the Green Sun Prince to embed the message itself into a living being. The Infernal touches the target as per the Touch keyword, rolling (Dexterity+Martial Arts) if the target is unwilling: upon contact the recipient of the seven hidden meanings is seared into the target's mind as a special six-points Derangement. Until the Derangement is removed the target can never forget the recipient and is forced to repeat or reproduce the recipient in some way that can be perceived by others at least once a day. This is considered Unnatural Mental Influence and costs 2 wp to resist.
So what happens if it's used on a willing target? This doesn't say.
