Green Sun, Black Shadows (CG/Exalted)

@Alexander89 - I think you may have missed the question, but there was some concern that the stunt might have a subtle aspect that would invalidate use of the use of Malfeas's Excellency. (mainly a silent command to the Anuhles) I personally think it's fine since only the rapid burst of gunfire is going to be enhanced, but I could be wrong.

What about ping damage? At least a couple levels of damage should've gotten through by the time we stumbled upon the battle, and yet the DB looks completely untouched.

Hardness might account for that. Either that or he's taking it as Bashing damage.

Just a curiosity: how are the Abilities, like Melee 3, explained?
Some of them are from periods of interest, while most of the physical ones are from the time between her Exalting and meeting Lelouch.

As for the Charm, I think the only way it could be improved would be to let a designated person automatically know the true meaning, like the cultist in the burn-down-a-church example earlier.

Leaping is going to need some stress outlet once Slannesh comes.

(AND NOT THAT TYPE OF STRESS OUTLET SLANNESH. At least not with you)

If Hardness alone was accomplishing the job, the implied soak boost would've been unnecessary.

Then as I said he's probably taking bashing damage and just getting the ping damage only, and I think he's probably got a few purchases of Ox-Body Technique as well given he isn't appearing to slow down much. Otherwise his wound penalties would be more apparent.

Aw shot, I haven't though of that.

Yeah, it invalidates it. But the version with TED's Excellency works well as two-die.

The Lunar has Claws Mutation, so she's inflicting Lethal Damage.

So, at this point I can either rewrite that part by adding bleeding cuts and the like, or if you tell me if there is a method to convert Lethal into Bashing I can add it. Which one?

Probably just add some mention of bleeding cuts. As far as I can tell DBs don't have any Native Lethal-to-Bashing damage conversion charms, and Earth Dragon Style doesn't either. Enjou may know more, though.

Ok then, changing...

[X] Plan Pleasing to the Ebon Dragon
[X] Help the Lunar
-[X] Stunt: For the time being the enemy of your enemy is your friend, and its likely in both of your enlightened self-interest to work together. You draw your Hellcaster in one hand, while silently giving hand signals to the Dark Green Fangs. From your lofty position above the two combatants, you wait a few seconds until your target is turned away from you by the dance of death he is engaged in. Then you take aim and fire three shots at the unsuspecting Dragonblooded knight's back while he is distracted by dodging the Lunar's latest attacks. Five Anhules materialize in a circle around your foe and join the attack, while you draw a bead on the enemy for your next shot.
-[X] Actions: Draw weapon, command Anuhles, aim action for one turn, try a sneak attack with a gun. Don't flurry anything but the three attacks.
-[X] Charm Use for the sneak attack: First Ebon Dragon Excellency x 4, Ebon Dragon Inevitability Technique; 4m from Internal pool, 1 WP spent
-[X] Use Shadow Spite Curse to hinder the Dragon Blooded if absolutely needed, making his attacks less likely to hit the Lunar and or otherwise succeeding in his actions
-[X] Instructions for materialized Anuhles: Attack and don't let up. One or two should try to tie him up in melee while the rest attack at range. Switch them out as the fight continues to minimize damage due to his anima flux.

I know there is a limit of two for Perfect Defense Charms any Exalted can get, and that we have the Ebon Dragon's and are getting most likely Oramus' at some point in the future. But can we also get a surprise negatator that is also a PD, which works also against social attacks?

Because I think Lelouch might want one particular Charm from Malfeas, just so doesn't have to put up with all the madmen and loose women he keeps meeting. Of which most seem to be his Peers.
Unbroken By Unacknowledged Blows
Cost: 9m; Mins: Essence 2; Type: Reflexive (Step 2)
Keywords: Combo-OK
Duration: Instant
Prerequisite Charms: Purity of Madness Defense
The Holy Tyrant was the burning will that drove the Primordials in their construction of Creation. It was his desire that brought it into being, a product of his mind, and without the lord it requires, Malfeas knows it cannot be real in any meaningful way. That which he does not acknowledge cannot exist, and that which he cannot see cannot harm him. This Charm can be activated in response to any attack, social or physical, providing a perfect dodge against it. This charm functions against unexpected attacks. When used against social attacks, the Infernal dismisses all words without a single thought or any visible reaction. When used against physical attacks, the Charm is Obvious, as the world stretches and warps rather than permit a blow against the Infernal's crystallised ego as a Shaping effect. Blades and arrows would rather flee than defy the Infernal's assertions of what is and is not real, existing partially in Elsewhere for the duration of the attack.
The Charm bears the Imperfection of the Demon City, and cannot be activated while the Infernal is undergoing Torment. The Infernal is afflicted by an irresistible Compulsion as a result of using this Charm, which removes the memory of the attack from them. If the Infernal is attacked from surprise, and uses this Charm to defend against the attack, he does not automatically notice his attacker, although other characters are free to do so. In the First Age, it was not uncommon for Deliberative experimental weapons tests to occur within the Demon City, and although Malfeas would roar and yell at the indignities inflicted upon him, at other times he would ignore the Exalted presence, and even the most powerful bombardment would be as unreal as the morning's mist. This typically annoyed the sorcerer-scientists involved, who found the Demon City to be inconsiderate in not providing a proper test-dummy.
And with this, his powerset will be complete! He can become the ultimate oblivious harem lead!

Looking at the manual, they've got this...

WOUND-CLOSING TOUCH
Cost: 2m per lhl converted, plus 1wp; Mins: Medicine 4, Essence 3; Type: Simple
Keywords: Combo-OK, Touch Duration: Instant
Prerequisite Charms: Disease-Banishing Technique

With this Charm, the Dragon-Blood can instantly staunch the bleeding of herself or someone else and also facilitate the healing of wounds. For every two motes spent, the Dragon-Blooded can convert one lethal wound level into a bashing level. Healing even one level of damage also automatically closes any bleeding wounds. This Charm can be used on another just as easily as the Exalt uses it on herself. The Dragon-Blood need only spend one Willpower point per application of this Charm.

...which I don't believe can be used in combat nor is it all that likely this warrior has Medicine 4. Other than that, I can't find one, @Alexander89, so you may need to go retcon and put in some scratches having some actual damage, if only slight.

For the soak method, he might be using this:

UNFLAGGING VENGEANCE MEDITATION Cost: 5m, 1wp (additional allies must each pay 1wp);
Mins: Integrity 4, Essence 4; Type: Simple
Keywords: Social
Duration: Until satisfied
Prerequisite Charms: Untiring Earth Meditation, Ten-Thousand Dragons Fight as One

Just as the hottest of flames can lose its intensity unless it is contained by the walls of a furnace, so too does the steady strength of the Earth Dragon help contain and focus the inner flame of vengeance. To activate this Charm, the Exalt must spend three motes and one Willpower while speaking aloud the terms of a vendetta to which the character commits himself with all his soul. The goal must be a simply stated purpose such as "Avenge my father's death at the hands of Tepet Arada" or "Humble Sesus Chenow Lahor for his insult on my honor." Swearing such an oath provides the Dragon-Blood with several benefits.

First, for as long as the vendetta lasts, it counts as an Intimacy for the Dragon-Blood with all the benefits and drawbacks of any Intimacy. Second, whenever confronted by any effect, magical or otherwise, that might deter the Dragon-Blood from pursuing his vengeance, he adds his Essence to his Dodge MDV. Furthermore, he can ignore any unnatural influence that would compel him to abandon the vendetta, treating such commands as unacceptable orders. Third, until the Exalt fulfills the vendetta or abandons it, he does not need to eat, sleep or rest as long as he remains in pursuit of his vengeance. The character incurs no penalties from any sort of fatigue, whether natural, magical or even from encumbrance or armor. Fourth, the Exalt can soak both lethal and bashing damage with his full Stamina, and he adds his Integrity to both his lethal and bashing soaks.

Unflagging Vengeance Meditation can be sustained without ill effect for a number of days equal to the Exalt's Essence. After that, the character suffers one health level of unsoakable bashing damage every time a number of days equal to his Essence passes. This damage cannot be healed while the Charm remains in force, and even after the Charm lapses, healing this damage takes twice as long as normal. When a Dragon-Blood swears a vendetta with this Charm, a number of additional characters equal to his Essence can join him. Each additional participant must pay one temporary Willpower point but need not expend any Essence. Once invoked, the Charm ends either when the vendetta is satisfied or when the Dragon-Blood who initiated it voluntarily abandons it. If anyone who is party to the Charm, including the Dragon-Blood who initiated it, terminates his involvement prematurely, he suffers a number of levels of lethal damage equal to the sum of the permanent Essences of all characters involved. This damage is unsoakable in any fashion.

So he might have declared "Kill or drive off the Lunar invading the Marquess's home" or something like that.

Or he might more simply be using this...

IMPERVIOUS SKIN OF STONE MEDITATION
Cost: 1m per 2L/2B soak; Mins: Resistance 2, Essence 2; Type: Simple
Keywords: Combo-OK
Duration: One scene
Prerequisite Charms: Strength of Stone Technique
This Charm permits a Dragon-Blood to give her skin the toughness of unyielding stone itself while losing none of her normal flexibility. Each mote spent increases the Dragon-Blood's bashing and lethal soak by two. The bonus to soak cannot exceed the Exalt's Essence. Also, this Charm is weak against Essence, and the soak bonus granted does not apply to damage inflicted by sorcery or by attacks enhanced with Charms. This Charm is compatible with armor.

We've been informed by the GM that the stunt using the Malfeas Excellency invalidates the Excellency due to having subtle elements. You should switch to the Ebon Dragon Excellency version, which also counts as a two-dice stunt instead of a only one.

It would have worked if you made yourself know, taunted the guy and then fired.

I'm waiting a day or two to call the tally. To give everyone time to adjust their vote...and also to figure out how and how much to roll.

This particular one seems to be one of Earthscorpion's homebrew Charms, so potentially not canon. But considering the Late First Age, its still frighteningly likely that the Solars did something like that.
