Serious face though: II'm not that worried about either Harry or even Murphy. It's Rosie that worries me in regards to this situation. Because I could easily denarian!Rosie down this path.
Also, on the update - Sanctuary is much better known than I expected, if Marcone already knows.

@DragonParadox would like to remind you of one thing, one of the actions chosen in the winning plan (Crown and Scepte), had already been chosen in the previous plan with maximum value. Since we spent 6 SG AP last time and the 6 again now, how are you going to decide how to use them?
I think this error happened when we were still evaluating which actions were or were not chosen and @Yog forgot to update his plan before closing.

On my part I assume that governing is an ongoing AP sink, and I am committed to sinking as much AP as possible into it, to maintain high level of loyalty and efficiency from the Courts. Our people deserve the best.

We'd better get used to dealing with people like Marcone: We're going to be seeing Arthur in the near future. Arthur at least is well intentioned but you don't get to be a blood-stained warlord without doing blood-stained warlord things. If we ever succeed in making Wolfram & Hart like in our old plans, in the dawn of the quest, this will be our bread and butter.

I mean, it could very well be an ongoing expense, but nothing in the lawsuit says that, and we haven't even received details about the first time. What it says is that it would take action to see where we could help the government, so maybe the next part would be an ongoing committed expense?
I just wanted to clarify with DP, because he might still be thinking that we didn't choose him in the previous round.

Y'know, it's not like Healing is that easy even for Wizards. And considering they're still in a war with the Red Court, I could see the White Council trying to make a deal with Tiffany for healing. The way she just trivialized Harry's Aggravated Damage after Las Vegas isn't unheard of, but certainly isn't common even among the Senior Council.

Should we leave him to Marcone or just suborn him ourselves? Just... take over Apple, essentially? Use him as a catspaw to push Court computer technology. Jobs was way into eastern mysticism, from what I read. So, assuming MIkaboshi hasn't got to him yet, Molly might. What she offers is genuinely dream come true for him.
The issue is, of course, real world people in fanfics. Better to use an expy or something.

And also how will Marcone explain the situation to his people. Will he explain to them that we are the supernatural equivalent of the US President in terms of influence and resources... Or will he decide to limit himself to half-truths?
The last point is a question for everyone here. Meeting Charity's parents is inevitable. The question I have is how far should we drag them into the supernatural to explain everything. Or leave them on the edge of ignorance about the true nature of the world...and Molly's true nature.

It comes back to the fact that we shouldn't be offering anything.
This is Danegeld we're offering. We'll now never be rid of the Dane. Bribing criminals not to commit crime is asking them to come back and ask for more and more and more.
Giving Marcone access to superior healing and the leverage it offers to extort was one of the worst thing we could have offered him, as it allows him to suborn and corrupt wider sections of society and institutions.
There's no way he won't exploit this to further empower himself.

I don't care about any of that. It doesn't matter once we raise a god of chicago. He will become a subordinate by default.
I am surprised that we are offering pur personal time to fullfil this. When its not needed at all, because enchanted objects can do that kind of shit just as well. Like why would we ever do this stuff personally that splendors imply. He is not worth a single second of our personal time.
Why would he automatically become subordinate? That doesn't logically follow. With a monopoly on Sanctuary grade medical tech he becomes a national and international player, Chicago at that point means almost nothing to him. It's just one small market among hundreds of more important ones.

Because we have a business contract. Not an unbreakable oath. Marcone knows that even with these terms he is dependent on us. And yes, it is not a guarantee of subordination. But we brought him into our sphere of influence. Not the other way around.
