I guess, but I'm not sure about the value proposition for random data swaps.

Giving us a list of people she wants dead that we can benefit from killing is a self evidently balanced exchange. I'd be surprised if we had to pay for it. We can also use it to enhance a hypothetical foci rush next turn like I plan to push for.

More exalted lore is neat, but not a priority compared to Nemesis preparing to flip the table.

In my opinion we need to get the Archive up to speed and everyone from the Library to Winter in motion as quickly as possible, then pump them full of as much information as we can physically acquire in the span of an arc. We can ask her for other stuff later.

I mean yeah your right but its called an exchange we can have more than one exchange. What I really want is a celestial martial art. Cause like if she doesn't have it we may as well give up looking. Like an angel probably has one but they likely can't trade for it, maybe some demons somewhere, one of the two big D Dragons. But, it is something I want. But, yeah hitlist sounds like a great ask definitely something to add and I agree its a great idea.

Edit: Also its not really random we have an absurd level of information we can trade from our hell.

On a related topic, we need to have another discussion with the council Iku's death is going to be a whole thing, and politics is messy enough when you don't just leave it alone.

Really it's good we have Divsimar on the agenda, because it'd suck if he bailed because he thought we went bad.

We owe that guy and his organization a lot in my opinion. They've been effectively paying for the privilege of risking a skilled member of their order to train us. Something we've benefited from significantly. Steel skin alone is an appreciable portion of our soak.

I'm half tempted to make a nice splendor their way. Like a house sized healing field/blessing of backup for whatever problem they're individually facing/money generator that grants anyone who visits it once a month 3 dots of resources for no effort, maybe a fortress they can't fail their key rolls in.

In fairness we helped them with the relic but yeah it definitely wasn't a fair exchange on his part. We've gotten more than they did though in fairness we're uh what you'd call a really good investment.
 
we're as strong as an elder kuei-jin by now right? But, probably not a bodhisattva right? Are any ancient kuei-jin yama kings here?

You can at least use the Necromancers being part of the black medical establishment as that is actually cannon to Dresden Files as Cowl's assistant Kumori at the very least demonstrated some familiarity with it in Dead Beat.

They really wouldn't be necromancers have varying goals and in all honesty there are very few of them and all of them are hunted. Well when their actually noticed as necromancers.

We will be throwing Charisma/Manipulation 3 + Empathy 5 + Excellency 8 + Stunt 2 at the problem.
18 dice should be enough to crack the issue, even without any bonuses from having Michael or Lash or Lydia along.

Plus, the more information we get on her, the more information we get on Lady Ellamore, the Nfested Summer Fae that was used to groom her. And for Molly, information = divination foci.
Somehow, I suspect we're going to run into her in Las Vegas.

Hmm it seems while someone like Mab could do country wide weather, the more powerful fae can do wide ranged like Mabs right hand. But like there are probably averagish fae that can like do tornado, stormy weather, drought, heatwave, small town flood, are far more common on an individual level?

Very much so, though Mab can do far more than country wide weather, she can alter the weather of an entire continent if she puts her mind to it.

Interestingly plausible explanation, I wonder if as the internet evolves and traditional gatekeepers of infomation break down in capability to "bottleneck"/control information and public trust (for better and for worse), if the masquerade will begin to erode or further erode, or if the flood of disinformation and conflicting narratives (or even views on reality) will make concealling these things all the easier. Probably both simultaneously, now that I think about it.

Ask her for nuclear weapons, she actually has a reason to possess the designs for those.

Celestial Martial arts died several iterations of reality ago.

A better place to start would be the FCF style.

The relic thing was mostly a knight mission, Micheal just had us tag along.

good investment certainly is a term for it. Since they spoke last Molly has:

- Grown into a hell world
- Killed a vampire duchess
- Invented a new type of potentially incarnae tier demon that required an entirely new word in enochian to describe what you need to do to a fallen angel to get one
- Made the Summer Lady immune to iron, possession, and mind magic in exchange for lore on a curse comet
- Exorcised nemesis from three major fey no one knew were infected until we volunteered the information
- Paid a child to chain down bits of nemesis's soul so we could chew on them properly
- Eaten a lesser walker of the outside
- Eaten a Finish god-monster in front of a live audience on the shores of Avalon*


Which is certainly something. Personally I'm interested in how he plans to raise any concerns about Molly's dietary habits.

A proper favor isn't too much to ask. I was hoping for something like a way to undo the damage accumulated practicing their arts, but splendors aren't amazing at that.

Invincible assertion is also an issue, because it'd only cover a subsection of Qiao.


* We should really say something to the council, because this is less hot gossip and more the mushroom cloud of a story that went off on just this side of the horizon.

Blessing of Health (3 pt. Root Element)
The Splendor grants the gift of healing to those it affects. Roll Intelligence + Medicine against
difficulty (10 – Splendor's rating). The Splendor may heal that many levels of bashing or lethal
damage in each person granted the Blessing of Health, up to a maximum of (Splendor's rating)
levels healed. Lethal damage is healed first, if present.
As an Adornment, the user must spend a point of Willpower to gain the Blessing of Health, and
may take advantage of this Element no more than (Splendor's rating) times per story.
As a Fascination, an individual may only be granted the Blessing of Health once per story.

The Splendor stokes the fires of the Exalt's Essence whenever she affirms her innermost self.

Would work for mortal qiao users. They burn their lifeforce to use / practice their arts, right? Essence-Stoking Spirit should be able to automatically renew said lifeforce (assuming essence can be adapted to lifeforce, but I think that's reasonable), as long as they practice following their nature, and since it's a religion thing for them, I don't think that's going to be an issue.

This would work yeah, it is basically drawing and covering Essence into a form the mortal can use. Incidentally there is an application of qiao that restores the users youth at the cost of almost killing them. Among the vanishingly rare masters who can use it not many survive using it once, never mind twice. With this... well you just made an immortal Shih if you give it to one of them. A very-much-not-Faustian item to be handed by a lady with a crown of verdant eyes that burn like the flames of Yomi. :V
 
I'd like to get on that quick, 'cause Nemesis knows we've got some form of info-supremacy magic given how quickly and thoroughly we've been unmasking it. The Blackstaff can't act as quickly on our info as the Faerie Queens could, and what with the situation it wouldn't be surprising if Nemesis blew its last contacts in the White Council in the most damaging way. It's not like it can count on them staying hidden given Molly's track record, after all.

Even one traitor in canon did major damage despite doing it on the sly. Multiple going off intending for maximum damage would be really bad for the White Council, especially since the War with the Reds has probably escalated this last month given Molly and Donald's 1-2 combo on the Red Court's highest echelon.

Molly doesn't actually know about Peabody right now. That list wasn't exhaustive as it wasn't actually the result of specifically asking about all the traitors on the White Council (something we ought to change), it actually came from another angle if I recall correctly.

But seriously, given Molly knows IC that Nemesis is aiming for the Masquerade, she has good reason to clean house with the White Council before letting them know that she knows Nemesis' next move.
