Grand Army of the Republic: A Star Wars Plan Quest

So, I am not good at figuring out how to pull it of exactly, but I have here a few things, in order of priority (in my opinion) we need to do:

1. Research The inhibitor chips. That needs to be finished this turn, if possible.
2. Attempting to stay in budget. It is not absolutely vital, but still important. On that matter, whats our current budget per turn? (assuming we don't take any money from The Sith)
3. Training in General. We need to have the best army possible, and training is a good way to reach that.
4. Fleet. As far as I know, after the first set of goals are continued, I am guessing our next goal will be getting a fleet, but can't hurt to begin early…
5. Genemods. Helpful, definetly, but interfere with inhibitor chips. Not entirely sure what we would want.

Although I personally wouldn't go to further reduce the ageing issues.

6. Placating the Sith aka implanting thr inhibitor chips. This point is our least and highest priority at the same time: We can't have them too angry with us, with too angry being a very nebolous statement, on the other hand, we don't want them to succeed. Which means doing what they want is only really something we should throw our all behind if it brings us an advantage in crushing their plans.

For information completing the chip implant project will require on average 7.3 rolls and three turns will resolve before we need to have finished.

And We have 5 die in the category. So considering that we don't Need anything else out of the category, I would stay with one die for it per turn, currently. We can always focus on it after we managed to deal with the inhibitor chips…

Which I hope we will have done in two turns. One can hope.

If we did one die a turn and they bricked (quite likely on a single d100) we could put ourselves in a position where we were looking down the barrel of a 50/50 or worse chance this Q4. Frankly I consider the current 2 dice spend on the popular proposed plan the minimum safe spend. Then assuming all average that should got to 3 next turn.

You are right, of course, but, assuming we had anything else in that category to spend dice on, we could do it without that.

Yeah, as Long as no other convincing plan shows up in the next 3 hours, I will likely vote The same way.

It is a decent plan at least, and the only because I hate the concept of the inhibitor chips I don't want to increase the amount of dice in them for any reason as Long as We don't know how the counter looks like.

Especially becuase it isn't impossible that the counter might be more expensive if we already have some clones implanted, on a scale.

If we knew that we could counter the chips at any future stage without issues, I would say, finish that, and let it look like we give our all :)

EDIT: but sadly, that isn't so :-(

[X]Plan the budget is the limit

Its fairly clear that this is one of the best options available, and, as far as I know, to date the only one.

So I add my vote to that as well.

The vote is still open.
