Socialize
Awareness, Dodge, Integrity, Linguistics, Presence, Ride, Sail, Stealth, Survival, Thrown, and War have no actual Essence 5 Charms, much to the embarrassment of anybody who picks them as Supernal.

Does it really matter? It looks like the main point Supernal is to get to the capstones for an ability as quickly as possible, and the utility of an Essence 4 charm compared to an Essence 5 one seems mostly arbitrary. Like, Eyes of the Unconquered Sun seems more useful than a lot of Brawl Capstones, both in and out of combat.

Awareness can't help you go super Sayian though. 0/10 would not Supernal!

I've counted the number of Charms in each Skill by skill-requirement, and listed them in ascending order. As you can see, if you want to have Charms to play with you need to be skill 5. Since advancement is quadratic in XP-cost, it seems you basically need to have Skill 5 at character generation if you want a chance to actually play with all the new, neat Charms:

Archery: 0-1-3-4-17
Athletics: 1-2-7-4-17
Awareness: 0-1-7-5-9
Brawl: 1-0-6-8-28
Bureaucracy: 2-1-3-2-16
Craft: 1-2-4-2-34
Dodge: 0-1-4-5-16
Integrity: 2-1-3-2-5
Investigation: 1-1-1-3-12
Larceny: 1-3-5-8-11
Linguistics: 1-0-5-4-17
Lore: 1-2-2-2-39
Medicine: 2-0-3-2-15
Melee: 2-2-6-6-21
Occult: 1-3-7-7-18
Performance: 0-1-6-11-18
Presence: 0-1-2-4-17
Resistance: 1-3-5-5-10
Ride: 1-2-7-5-20
Sail: 0-0-5-4-30
Socialize: 0-0-4-3-39
Stealth: 0-1-4-5-12
Survival: 1-2-4-4-14
Thrown: 1-1-3-5-14
War: 1-3-3-4-5

Don't worry guys, Craft has an infinite XP generator!

You'll be able to get all those charms LONG before the General gets his!

You know, given how heavily titled towards (Ability) 5 the Charms are, I kind of want to do a comparison later of how well a Solar with all the (Ability) 4 Charms would do against one who has all the ones for each ability.

That is 4 vs Craft, 4 vs Socialize, etc.

Fun fact!

There are more Skill 5 Charms in Craft, Lore, Sail or Socialize alone than there are Skill 1 Charms total. And Brawl very nearly makes the list as well.

Even at Skill 2, there are fewer Charms total than there are Skill 5 Charms in Lore or Socialize.

But this is still a game that's very much against minmaxing being a good thing, and which wants to avoid incentivising super-optimised characters. Mmm hmm. Yup. Totally.

I'm avoiding the leak (as a strange way to show my support to the authors, publishers, etc), but I don't get why the Doombot thing should mean that the Solar could duplicate Exaltations.

It just seems to me, that whenever something that most of the actions are done by the Solar. Not a remote controlled robot or anythingIf I were the ST, or a player, one of the requirements I would ask for, when using that charm, is a stunt to show how they used it, what other charms they used to pull off the substitution, things like that.

Dual-Magnus Prana represents the absolute pinnacle of what a Solar Crafter/Sorcerer can accomplish. It's a remote controlled body, a perfect duplicate which they can channel their Exalted Charms through. It costs the same as two N/A artifacts to make. It is not a common power. It is not an easy power. It is the literal best a Solar Crafter /Sorcerer is capable of doing. It is the kind of thing that you might very well be the first person to ever actually do.

The fact that the substitution can use Charms is what gets people jimmies rustled.

Also the fact that it can have a retroactive effect.

Can't say I'm a fan too, now that the numbers have been laid out before me :(

I don't mind high-tier N/A level artifacts being able to bypass Sorcerous anti-scrying wards.

I'll admit that I haven't read the leak, but I kind of object to being able to retcon in an artifact with literally no recourse possible. I don't necessarily object to it beating some low-tier wards, but there should be wards which are strong enough to defeat it.

Really? Cool. I do, especially when defence trumps offence at the same level and DMP uses Emerald Circle Sorcery as a prereq. This is the definitive "no actually I don't want you to kill my BBEG final boss, so I'm going to pull a doombot Charm on you and invalidate all your work in killing him. What's that; you made preparations against him doing that which were specifically set up to stop this sort of bullshit? Sorry, no, super speshul artifact hax; he ignored them" Charm. It was okay in oMage because you could explicitly stop it with Corr warding, but here? No, it's bullshit on both thematic and mechanical levels.

...'low tier'. It's a thing that costs twice the Crafting points of an N/A artifact. I would contest Solar Working defeating it.
