Doesn't really work for a Second Circle - they don't have landscape forms, and when they are structures they're not ones on that scale. That sounds more like a Third Circle than a Second.

Eh, I dunno. It could work - consider something that possesses a house and turns the place into a sanctum of nightmares, slowly devouring people within and making it full of impossible geometries, etc. There are more than enough evil demonic houses in fiction that do that that it's valid.

something something minotaur something something

Honestly, if you were going to do that reference, you shouldn't outright make it obviously exist. Like, part of the point is that the minotaur is never seen, and there's, like, five seconds of footage that could be a shadow minotaur snuffing out the lights, or could be absolutely nothing.

I'm not sure how you'd turn it into a demon without giving it a definiteness that doesn't necessarily exist.

It'd almost be better as one of those fake-medieval tomes that ES/Aleph did. Like, someone describing without describing the minotaur with a hint that, possibly, it doesn't even exist and it's paranoia and madness of the few people who managed to escape the Labyrinth alive.

You know what'd make a good story for some sort of supernatural being? Caver Ted. Or whatever it was called, because there was something special about that story. It worked.

You're being too literal with your soul metaphor translations, I think that's the problem you're having.

For example, his Wisdom Soul might be an effete, effeminate scholar who carefully and meticulously studies fear. Or they might be the Scarecrow, using fear gas to study human psychology. They might be a living nightmare that possesses someone as their host. From how you describe him, he understands that his nature is fear (even in a base, animalistic way), so his understanding of his nature will be someone who understands or exemplifies fear in some way.

Hell, they might even be a little worm that lives in his head and controls him, his fear puppeting him and guiding him, a demon lord who controls his prince and must hide this from the law of Cecelyne.

Second Circle Landscape forms are like, large mansion/castle-scaled at most, if I remember correctly.

What about the Kid from I Wanna Be The Guy? Running through that game actually would justify the 'everything is out to kill me' paranoia.

Fucking cherries...

Have any of you guys used Icewalkers in your games?

I remember reading something awhile where SLS was discussing how they're not actually just supposed to be white nordic guys, but a mixture of those, mongolians and with japanese names. I'm trying to find that post while mulling over Icewalker names.

As an aside, were any tribes of them ever detailed?

Yup, used the Bull's Icewalkers in a Northern game once, where they were one of the 'big players' (albeit one that lacked grounding and were mostly running on inertia and momentum from their victory against House Tepet).

It was pretty fun.

That is to say that the players had fun, the Icewalkers really didn't have fun because the field of Exalted Warfare is only one that is fun for the Exalted themselves. :V

The corebook. :V

EDIT: But seriously though, the 1e corebook combined with Games of Divinity and Scavenger Sons are all pretty good.
Just so you know....

Actually, I can't tell you. I'll get banned again. But anyway, drivethrurrpg lets you buy it. If you have money, that is.

For a lot of the quests hosted here or on SB the 1d4 chan summary is adequate for a basis if you don't want the books at all. Though are there any particular points where you're struggling?
