You know what would make a party REALLY unsuccessful? If 3/4ths of the people there were fighting the whole time.
 
Why are people asking for a keg? Do they even have kegs in Naruto? Bear in mind we are kids, ninjas yes but still young. Also the write in does not cover seating at all

Not really the way I'd have put it but it gets the point across.
Doesn't make sense to leave this to chance when its a new team and at least one of them hates us.
Find Mariko, find out what shes doing, find Kiba and stop him from panicking, grab our instruments and bring em just in case.

Remember this is a graduation exercise just as much as it is... a party. The goal here is to see how well we work together to bring this thing to life, not to see if we can succeed with dumb luck.
(plus being the one taking initiative on this cements our eventual leadership role more firmly)

Two of the prompts are about Kiba's and Mariko's respective actions, so no need to coordinate in-game when two Canon omakes could be made instead to ensure they avoid doing the same thing.

I feel like I want to defend Iruka's teaching...

That said, I also suspect that while the academy's system in general works for most kids, those that learn well in certain ways (but not the 'standard' regimented ones) like Naruto (and perhaps Ren), don't do so well learning that way and/or have trouble focusing and get frustrated.
