It'll likely drag us down the full Heavens feel nightmare if we betray Sakura's 'trust'. Normal Sakura would forgive Shiro - but deranged/possessed Sakura will remember us doing this.

That and this is the most shiro choice to make, alongside with giving Caster a better comprehension of her master.

...I mean, he definitely acts like one at times...

Though is less about stupidity and more 'crazy guy who needs therapy', alongside some semblance of actual empathy, which, as we know, is alien to most Magi.
One thing that makes Shirou much more comprehensible is that you have to realize that he puts practically zero value on his own life. He'd sacrifice himself for a complete stranger if push came to shove. The only reason he'd save his own skin is if it saved someone else's skin by proxy.

Under no circumstances are you messing with Sakura.

Sakura may be my least favorite of the canon Fate Stay Night Waifu's, but even I know how ride or die she is for Shirou. She's not going to do anything that would get him killed so we gain very little from betraying her by having her memory wiped. Besides, Zouken almost certainly knows about Caster now, he would have learned about it the moment Sakura saw the seals.

At this point, the pragmatic thing to do is keep her on side and hope Medea notices the Crest worm so that she can show off why she is considered one of the more broken casters in the setting. Meanwhile, the Shirou thing to do is also today no to the mindwipe. Not to mention that as mentioned earlier in the thread, not erasing her memories will almost certainly get us points in the Medea Bowl.

There just really is no good reason to actually go through with it.

Sure why not, add my vote to the pile for Erien's ego and pride!

Also because Sakura doesn't deserve to be mindwiped but still.

While I personally had hopes for any vote but Sakura, now that we've committed to the choice, it is time to be our Shirou-est Shirou.

No. Erasing Sakuras memory of the mornings events isn't right. Sakura has already seen our command seals and Caster herself, even if we erase her memory its useless because theres always the chance she discovers it all over again. Besides Sakura could very well be a useful ally.

At this point it's just about trying to go as many votes on this option as possible

Thanks to @Armoury for the beta!

Caster tilts her head. "As we just discussed, outing yourself as a master is dangerous. If you do not wish to kill her, then I shall merely remove her memories. From her point of view she merely had a dizzy spell upon entering the house."

You…

You look down at Sakura, then back at Caster. Kiritsugu told you to keep your status as a Magus secret, and you still don't know what this is about Masters and Servants anyway. But at the same time, at the same time it is still Sakura, and you aren't going to let her come to any harm, and you won't tolerate messing with anyone's mind while you can help it. To be honest, even if you can't help it.

"No, don't." You say firmly, staring up at your 'servant'. "So what if she's another Magus? I've known her for years now, there's no reason to wipe her memories."

Caster stares at me for several long moments, saying nothing in an uncomfortable silence as she studies me. "Doing so will put you at a great risk, Magus do not tend to get along with each other." Caster says slowly, like she was trying to explain a concept to a small child. "There is no telling how she will reac-"

"So what?" you interrupt. "Even if she reacts poorly I'll deal with it, it was my mistake that let her see it to begin with, that's no excuse to mess with her mind." You look down at the sleeping Sakura in your arms, your hand moving to close her eyelids for her. "She doesn't deserve that."

Medea smiles slightly, whether from amusement or something else you couldn't fathom a guess. Without being able to see her eyes her expressions were rather hard to read, on top of the fact that you barely knew the woman to begin with. "Very well master, then shall I wake her?"

"Yes." You reply, perhaps a bit too quickly. Then a thought returns, a treacherous one perhaps, but it is something that bothers you regardless. Sakura reacted poorly, very poorly, and you don't exactly know why. You… could ask Sakura, but you don't know how she would react, all the while your 'servant' was rather deliberately quiet about it.

That frustrates you. Why all the secrecy? What exactly have you gotten involved with? Still clutching Sakura to yourself you stare at Caster. "What exactly is all of this about Caster."

The woman pauses, having been starting to reach for Sakura. "In what manner is that question?"

"Masters and servants, my father taught me enough about Magus that I know most would see another Magus as a threat or a tool. But Sakura was scared. Why?"

Caster pulls back a bit, her smile that she was wearing gone like it was never there at all. "That is unimportant. If I had to form a hypothesis, she was frightened by me due to servants being naturally powerful. Most Magus are not capable of managing one such as myself."

No, no, that isn't true at all. You know it isn't. Even if you can't read Caster's expression. Sakura would never be frightened by you, it just isn't her. She knows you wouldn't hurt her, and she was worried about you, not scared of you. But why? Why would Sakura be frightened? What happened with Caster, why was she bleeding in the park, why was Taiga rushing off, so many whys and whats fly past your brain that you have to draw back a moment, drawing in a breath as you close your eyes. No.

No, Sakura would never be threatened by you, nor would you ever even think of threatening her. Even if the revelation that you were a Magus, even a third-rate one, was a shock to her. There is nothing you have ever done that should make her feel remotely threatened… and if that's the natural to a Magus discovering another you want no part of magecraft. No, she reacted to the symbol on your wrist.

And yet Caster does not want to talk about it, why? Is it connected to how you found her at the park? You need answers.

… But with how she has acted, prying them from her may not be the best idea all the same. But if you don't, you won't know what is actually wrong with Sakura until you wake her up again, and she'll be in a panic once more.

Shaking your head, you open your mouth-

[] [Caster, explain.]
You saved her life, she owes you one, and you have little patience for secrets, magical or otherwise.

[] [Wake Sakura]
Drop it, Caster has been quiet about this more than once, and you could tell she was leaving something out back at the shed. If she is uncomfortable about it… you'll find out in other ways.
