This is a very Shirou thing too do. I think we'll get some approval, when the exasperation for being a difficult master wears off. On the Bright side, the tower of impending Doom grows ever taller. Clusterfuck cookies anyone?

Welp, here I go into a Fate quest yet again! No mind wipe for Best Grill, for her existence is depressing enough as it is.

On a character level, I can't really see Shirou agreeing to wipe Sakura's memories, especially after just finding out she's a magus herself.

On a meta level? There's the mentioned factor that Caster is probably silently judging his actions, there's the fact that Zouken would likely notice something, there's the fact that letting Sakura keep her memories opens the door to allying with her...

Anyways point being, Refusing is easily the better option, I'd say.
