Crippled is a strong word for something that more or less just gives us access to better armor and a super move. Does it suck not to have, totally, but it was never something I placed a huge value on since Verge can still handle himself just fine.
Eh Verg kind of needs the possibly added mental protection Avalon gives considering his mind without will can be split into wrath, power and desire. He's also spent a very large amount of time in the presences of a current demon and a former one.
Does Avalon do anything for that? As it was never really clear on stuff like that, hence why I wanted to see how Thresh handles Gram. As that would give us a clear answer on that subject.
That has not been shown actually. The reason we seem to be more wrathful is because when we evolved we lost the Zen trait. Which makes sense given that a Grapleomon's entire fighting prowess is emotionally based. Being Zen all the time would actively hinder us in combat.
Here's the thing tho one of his sibling is pretty much telling him you can go first. Not sure if it's cause he honestly thinks that he is strong enough or is worried when he heard that something inside Verg was broken and needs fixing I ain't got a clue but he's doing it. At the end of the day even if Verg accepts it he will do his damnedest to go about and finish this job to pay not only Vulcan but Thresh back as well.
I could be remembering it absolutly wrong but for some reason I tie the grey text to will power and I do have this sort of nagging feeling that drex said it can help against Ardat's corruption.
