Meh seems about right, check in with our friend who to get out of dodge and run away from an entire faction, check in with the boys who have built a life here then get to know some of our new companion here a bit more. Groundramon is last cause Groundamon.

Alright folks, votes are tied 6-6 at the moment. I'm hoping to get a tiebreaker in the next few hours so I can start with ze planning.

As a side note. Next update will feature the new training NUMBERS, and how much Verge is now getting paid.

The Host Bulwark is not... plus they're covering food for free.

Okay guys, let's be honest. Ardat needs Verge more.

The Spider babies haven't been seen in a while, but they were fine last we checked.

Meanwhile Ardat accidentally killed a lot of people when already in a fragile mental state and was forced to flee, unsure if she'd ever see Verge again.

And that was, at best, a few days ago. And we don't know how she's settling into the very different Bulwark, or how she's being treated.

So, overall, wether you like her as the Waifu or not, she's still Verge's friend and needs us way more then the Spider Kids as far as we know.

So let's be there for her in the wake of a dark moment yeah?

She still will be near the top of priorities but I just want to see the kids more, we always focused on her and now they deserve some too.

Perfectly safe and fine kids as far as we are aware
vs
Traumatised mentally unstable woman in a new environment

It's not about deserve, it's not about 'always focussing on her', it's literally about the fact she probably needs friends and family a lot more.

With her father dead I'm pretty sure we're the only one she has left.

We need to get her more friends for sure though. Jeez

Give Ardat some credit. She's just been through months of therapy and has learned how to cope somewhat. She's not exactly a useless damsel.

Edit: But yeah, I do get your reasoning.

I live!

Sorry for not updating last week, I caught the Flu. Horrid thing I assure you.

Anyway, I plan to release the Omake today and the update on Sunday.

A Creator's invitations... Heh. Anyone wanna guess that means?

Omake: ??? A Creator's Invitations (Tuwarmon's POV)
[] A Creator's Invitations.

Tuwarmon knelt patiently in front of Malkimon's tower, waiting unflinchingly in front of the barred doors as the sun made its way across the sky. The allotted time for his appointment came, then went just as quickly. An unfortunate development, but not unexpected, it only meant he need wait longer. Seconds turned into minutes, which then flowed into hours. It was only after over a quarter of the day passed that his employer made an appearance.

The haggard womon appeared in front of him through a jagged hole in reality, her hair unkempt, clothes stained and body emitting a scent most foul indeed. Even his mask was unable to fully filter the scent out now, but Tuwarmon did not speak of it. Criticizing her hygiene was not his responsibility, nor was pointing out her lack of punctuality, as unprofessional as both facets were.

No apology was forthcoming from the Mega, which was expected. Her only action was to toss a stack of envelopes to his feet, then reach forward and press a scroll into his outstretched hand.

"This scroll contains names. Find them, and deliver my invitations posthaste."

"Understood." Tuwarmon stated before risking the act of raising his head. "Lady Malkimon, forgive this servant for his curiosity, but your experiments on-"

"Are on track." The womon cut him off, before violently jerking her head to the left. "Now carry out your-" Her portal closed before the sentence could finish, but Tuwarmon could figure out what she'd been trying to convey.

After resisting a deep sigh, the Ultimate rose up and shrugged. A disappointing conversation, but once again, he understood the outcome. Learning more about her progress would have been useful for his personal mission, the great plan depended on it after all. However she'd managed to become even more distant after being informed of Vergil's… *second* demise.

It was still both a deep, fortunate surprise and a deep personal shame that the Scion of Shujin had been left unattended for so long. But there was no possible venue for him to have known about Vergil's survival. The distance had been too great, his responsibilities too numerous. He should have been safe. And yet fate had proved a cruel mistress, forcing what had seemed like a second loss upon them.

Not even the Drimogemon…. GrappLeomon's miraculous survival and evolutions had proved to heal the wounds inflicted those many months ago.

Tuwarmon found his eyes drift towards the space of air previously occupied by his employer's portal. He couldn't remember the last time she'd requested sustenance from the palace. As one of the world's *few* Megas her constitution was hardier than most yes, but even they had limits. Normally he wouldn't bother with this sort of thing, but Shujin had been concerned over his health, so therefore he was obligated to be concerned as well. Which would mean another attempt at sneaking in supplies later.

Putting that aside for the moment, he had a new mission.

The stack of envelopes beneath him were far from ordinary, their gold trim shone with a lustre only a digizoid alloy could match, and if his sense of smell was still correct… yes, the Indigo paper was indeed made with the wood of a Cherrymon. How Malkimon got ahold of that he wasn't sure, but once again, it was not his place to question. The make meant each would be nearly indestructible to even lower Ultimates… which meant he was expected to travel to zones with particularly rough terrain.

Tuwarmon deftly scooped the stack up, then placed it within his bag for safekeeping. Next he unfurled the scroll's leathery material and read the names.

He knew several of the candidates instantly, Seraphimon's reincarnation, Shujin's Scion, the Legendary Warrior of wind. All digimon he could find without overmuch trouble… and yet others were a complete mystery to him. In all his years Tuwarmon had never heard of… a "Minervamon" or Grademon, no doubt powerful beings if they were deemed worthy of his employer's notice. He'd have to correct that lack of information, failing his orders was not an option.

As he rose, the shinobi found his thoughts once again drifting once again to Vergil. It was… most regretful that Malkimon's orders around his last mission had caused him misfortune. Moreso that his measures to assist with that mercenary failed.

Not being able to assist Shujin's Scion in his time of need had been a shameful display, a mistake he would never be able to fix.

Unless… the conspirators for their Yakuin's murder, were still alive. If he could sprinkle the information the relevant information in places they could find… then maybe some small reparations could be made yet.

As for Vergil himself… his progression to Ultimate has been perhaps the second most surprising thing in Tuwarmon's life. His current strength was most impressive as were his exploits. Shujin would be most pleased, were he still present.

More curious than his survival and newfound strength was how Vergil's data managed to stabilize in his new incarnation. Even Malkimon hadn't been able to acquire a solution for that problem. The Viral-Vaccine attributes shouldn't have ever been able to work in harmony naturally, which meant something, or somemon was responsible. He would have to find out who.

More pressingly on the subject of his former charge, his leaving the Host would make future contact easier. Leopardmon's army might not be on the best relations with the *High Lord* at the moment, but officially were still considered neutral.

But later, his mission had to be completed before anything else. The very first name would not be difficult to find. Even if she had no permanent address, the Mermaidmon *Drop* would not be difficult to find given her fame, and… lesser infamy. He was very much not impressed with what he'd learned so far.

Doubtlessly she'd be one of the first to fall in Malkimon's Grand Tournament.

===AN: And here's the Omake! Hehe, lot's of stuff is going on in this one, so that's pretty fun. I hope it isn't too much.

Tuwarmon
Delete the comma.
Now isn't that an interesting title........

>implying she'd enter herself instead of cheering on her boyfriend

I think you meant her, also Concerned.
If he could sprinkle the information need in places they could find… then maybe some small reparations could be made yet.
Information need? Do you mean the information they need?

Tournament Arc? Tournament Arc. Let's just hope that none of the matches are to the death considering we're going to be fighting friends.

Anyone getting the vibe Malkimon actually liked her experiments as her own children and got depressed as fuck when they died and is now dedicating all her resources to find their reincarnations?

I think that she thought that Verge had actually died during Count's assault, thanks to Sorcerymon's final gambit nuking the site and destroying any evidence. She had no reason to interact with the Host, so no reason to connect Verge to Vergil when he started really getting noticed. If she even received the news. From the sound of it she's isolating herself hard and it's taking it's toll on her mental state as well as her body.

So it seems it's more then just one mon who regreats not being able to support Vergil/Verg. Also if we go to this tournament we are going to see one of the other Olympus mons and either the the real warrior of wind or Repulsa dressed up as them.

I am unsure if it's a paternal thing and more like she views him as a pet. We really don't know much about her and all the flashbacks from Verg's past life don't paint a picture of model parent.

Whatever the case may be, there's no denying that she's not been doing too hot lately.
Looks like Verge is gonna have to help yet another sorceress with her problems.
