I mean guys, going up to Ardat with the current damage probably won't be that bad. Plus as stated earlier Verge has a significant amount of floof left and there are other ways to comfort people than direct words.

Even so, I still feel like it's a bad idea. even if it's because we're squadmates and it's not good for there to be friction between squadmates..

Also, Drex has always affirmed that there are no trap votes. All options have equally viable.

So, I trust that going to comfort Ardat would not be an option if it was going to have the opposite effect. Ardat just lost a brother and her mentor/dad can't help, she's also prolly really afraid (with valid cause) that Verge will hate her at this point.

Going over to her lets her know we don't hold it against her.

Trust me, letting someone stew in a situation like this is a bad idea and Verge is the only real option at this point.
 
[X] Try to comfort Ardat? You don't really know why the idea popped into your head, or why part of your mind is pushing you do it, but for some reason it seems like a good idea.

Notice how the end of the vote is in italics? That's... kind of odd. Now I'm third-guessing myself.

Edit: deleted my earlier swing-back vote, so I'm voting for getting Pidmon up again. Plus if nothing else he can heal everyone else, even if he can't heal us.

How the fuck is Verge still standing he lost a massive amount of data

Also there is something weird with this place a NeoDevimon and The Count? Unless Count is purposely downplaying his power in the Gloamming to stay at the position he finds comfy

It's possible that he is just looking to carve out his own little niche somewhere to accumulate his collection and not have to deal with more politics and paperwork. He's also supremely confident, because he keeps on attacking during daylight hours. I'm very suspicious about him showing up early though.

A lot of it depends on the type of wound as well. The decaying effect that hit Verge was only shallow enough to get to his bones, so while it looks awful he didn't actually take even debilitating damage.

Since it's a relatively shallow rot wound instead of a series of cuts or tears, the data leakage is fairly minimal.

This Fortress basically acts like a vital supply chain for the Gloaming's expansion up north. With supplies being sent forward, and certain material being sent back.

Count and Phelesmon are the two (known to Verge) Gloaming lords currently in charge of spreading their factions influence up north. NeoDevimon and assaultmon are (and were in the latters) case mere subordinates.

According to the intel Angewomon redivided reinforcements shouldn't have arrived for another day. Either the intel was wrong, or Count heading there was part of something separate.

It just..feels weird ya know?

Verge's skeleton is exposed, the skin round it rot away but he's still functional and all limbs

Meanwhile Sparks loses his arm and its permannent not even digivolving will fix it

Verge's throat and half of his face has rotted off along with the surface portion of the higher portion of his chest. Everything behind his bones is still there as the attack was halted before it could spread further.

His limbs are just fine.

Because of this Verge can't currently speak, both because air leaks out his throat, and his mouth can't really move properly. Plus no lips.

Isn't Sparks' arm and our eye because the LadyDevimon kind of cursed the damage she inflicted or something so oblo a stronger power can heal it? I don't think we've fought anyone with the power and time to spare to extra sadism and had the personality to do so since.

Sparks lost his arm to Musyamon's blade. Not quite the same thing as our eye. And in his case it's basically like the code structure under the data "skin" was lopped off too. Whereas with Verge we essentially just had the "skin" removed from our data form. Everything underneath it is still intact, which is why we're not bleeding out or something. Basically think of it like soaking an egg in vinegar until the shell dissolves. There's still the inner skin keeping the egg intact, even though you can see the yolk and white of the egg through the skin.

Sparks arm was severed by Musyamon's blade (which has an explicit life stealing effect) then said limb was either destroyed in the later blast or is still out there somewhere (though by now it would have rotted down to bone)
