What would happen if we did both techniques together? (Expansion and Compression)
Muscle Charge is similar to the Muscle Burst spell, while the new Agility buff technique is similar to Hasten Burst.

Attempting to combine them would mean making a technique similar to Tandem Body Burst, but with a different demerit. For the original versions of the spells, Tandem's demerit was shorter duration (3 seconds instead of 5).

For a technique, the demerit would probably be that the buff size is smaller than for only buffing a single stat and it comes with some recoil damage.

Did one of the recent omakes get deleted? Also the order of them is kind of messed up at the end there. It shows up normally on the drop down tab but when you click view all it changes.

The people back at the Bulwark must either be really ecstatic that two of their own managed to get to the semi finals and or terrified at what those two are currently doing.
Yes, that Omake got posted before it was supposed to because of my mistake.
Ah okay, I thought I saw one posted earlier but didn't read it and thought I might have just been remembering wrong when I came back and it was gone.

The Grappleomon and Ladydevimon were closing in on the feral; the tracker they had made indicated that it was somewhere nearby.
GrappLeomon, LadyDevimon.
His battle with Saberleomon was fast approaching, and he was quite confident in his victory, yet he couldn't shake off the small amount of anxiety that pricked in the back of his mind.
SaberLeomon.
Ardat shouted, the Ladydevimon holding her arms up to her face to protect it as the fierce winds abated.
LadyDevimon.
He stood ramrod straight, his fists clenched in a white knuckles grip as shadows blocked his eyes from sight.
White knuckled grip.
The Grappleomon grinned as his turbines whirled and the pressure around her got worse, corrosive purple smog filling the air.
GrappLeomon.
The two mighty attacks met head, the sky itself seemed to crack open from the pressure both parties were unleashing.
Head-on.
Both fell backwards from the resulting blowout, Skullmammothmon pushed back as Verge harshly landed in the snow covered ground.
SkullMammothmon.
The Mad Lion's fist was almost broken from the impact, flesh bruised beneath his Kuma Tsume while bones needing realignment.
With.
SkullMamon responded with a flick of its neck, intercepting its foot with one of its tree-like tusks.
SkullMammon.
A pained bellow and enraged stamping followed as it glared hatefully up at him. Bending his knees, Verge rocketed off his platform in the air, aiming for the Megas exposed knee as he flew through the air.
Mega's.
"Balulan Gale!" He heard Ardat cry out, the corrosive wind scoring the creature's metal body.
Baluluna Gale.

No. He's still really far from his hardcaps, especially when you take into account the harsh reductions of third softcap.
Do we know his hard caps?

Also this is gonna look ridiculous to the Bulwark, Loaded two mega, trained quit possibly the most and still isn't finished growing. Well if the spirit temples get stupid and start s fight that potentially means more mega being throw Verge's way for loading.

I wonder if Crusher Bone could get an upgrade from SkullMammothmon's data

Pondering because Drexal once joked that Verge could create a SkullGreymon well Skeleton and fling it around as a projectile once he hit GrapLeomon

I don't have the numbers, but they should be possible to roughly calculate some of them.

If I remember correctly, second softcap is half way between first softcap and hardcap, while third softcap is half way between second softcap and hardcap.
I don't remember any of the numbers when Verge hit his soft caps.

Not sure if anyone outside the Bulwark will actually believe if it turns out that Verge loaded 2 mega and still had room to grow.

Crusher bone is weird, it saw some uses here and there, sort of dropped of and now's come back with a vengeance.
Honestly I hesitate to even consider it Crusher Bone anymore, it should have its own name at this point.
Well it and Rodha are a tad similar

Both surge from below the ground to skewer the opponent and Crusher Bone originally was well 'digging' up a bone and tossing it but Verge got a load of projectile options even before Solar Laser, Juouken/Juoudaken and Leomon has a rapid fire weaker Juouken. Of course Titamon in one game draws his sword from the ground so if you want to roll with that maybe a Claiohm Solais made from Bone combos better with Verge's dark data better

0:50 for the interested. Yes that was the only video I found

I wonder what Varjamon thinks of Verge twisting his technique to the extent he has . First he copied it and made it metal, now he's combined it with another technique and now it's gonna shoot out like hundreds of metal coated bone spears.

Also I just thought of this but not only is the prince likely wanna take a swing at Verge again but Minervamon will want that fight she was denied when he was weaker.

I just found out about the new sonic game and the ost "Undefeatable" from the first boss slaps so hard, I am going to listen to it while Verge and Thresh beat the shit out of each other! I'm hyped!

2nd Of Steel: Grand Spirit Tournament Semi-Finals: The Hazard Dragon & The Divine Tiger Part 2

===

A Lion and a Dragon set down on opposite ends of a sand-strewn Arena, the blazing sun glaring down from overhead. There are no obstacles between Thresh and yourself, only an empty stage where two titans can clash without restraint. In other words, it's the perfect place to hold your deciding match.

Might shall clash against might; skill will strain against instinct. One shall stand victorious, and the other shall fall in defeat.

This time… I will not be holding back.

Not a word of banter is spoken, Thresh's taunts are no longer necessary. After all, your brother already has exactly what he wanted.

Thresh explodes forward with an earth-shaking roar, aggressively darting across the shifty surface with barely an impression left in his wake. Most would be caught off guard by his sheer speed, by the impossibility happening before their eyes. Something so big and bulky as a WarGrowlmon shouldn't be, cannot be this fast. The combination of his reduced weight, and maximally firing verniers allowing him to close the distance in the space of a single breath. In essence, your sibling had created his own movement technique.

Impressive brother, but…

Thresh descends the final meters with a thunderous roar, both Pendulum Blades rising high just as gravity reasserts itself on his frame. His devastatingly powerful cleave falls with force enough to sunder entire mountains, blocking such a move would require your full attention.

Predictable.

That is, if he was intending on following through.

The Demon-Dragon shifts aside just before contact can be made, right vernier abruptly shutting off as he feints front the Hammer Edge, instead throwing his body into a sudden spin. His tail lashes up into your leading hand, throwing the Kuma Tsume wide and leaving your side wide open. The tip of his right swordarm streaks around in a lightning quick thrust, aiming to skewer your side.

A well executed opening maneuver brother. Your practice with Fonte did not go to waste. However…

You stomp forward a half step, leaning into a twist that sees his weapon skim harmlessly across the surface of your cuirass.

It's nothing I haven't foreseen.

"Winning!" A millisecond later, your corresponding left punch hits Thresh's frame dead center, transferring the entirety of your momentum into a single point, and perfectly countering his attack. "Straight!"

The last time you clashed with Thresh, such a blow would've merely created a deep dent and pushed your brother back. Unfortunately for him, much has changed since your last fight.

Thanks to the Battle Royale's events, you've gained another five feet in height, and moreover countless hours of training have packed on another dozen tons of muscle onto your frame. An increase in weight and mass that's only compounded by your learning of Mantra Chant, whilst Thresh has mostly remained the same. However the most important factor here is one simple thing. Your Kuma Tsume are once again whole and Heavy.

*Clang*

Your arm sinks an entire foot into the black metal of Thresh's chassis, doubling the Demon-Dragon over before the kinetic energy sends your brother flying into the arena's wall. He hits the sandstone construct like a bomb, pulverizing meters of rock and mortar before the remaining rubble collapses atop him.

You take a single step forward, head tilting in an almost mocking fashion as Thresh begins pulling himself from the rubble. No words are spoken, but everything from your grin to your stance communicate a single infuriating thought.

Is that all?

Your sibling's face cycles through disbelief, then confusion before finally morphing into enraged realization.

"Don't you dare take me litey!" Thresh Howls in fury, the Hazardous aura around his body redoubling, as a narrow cone of supersonic hazardous energy is sent your way. Flesh and machinery pulse as your sibling forcibly ramps his body up past its natural limits.

You let out a calm, Qi-infused exhale, catching the wave of sonic energy mid-course and unraveling it with little more than application of will. Not that it was ever a threat to begin with. No, it was always just a distraction from the real attack.

Meant as a distraction as he zeroes in from the side.

"Double Edge-" Thresh slides to a stop by your side, stance squared for stability and mechanical limbs cocked back in preparation to unleash a new attack. "-Rush!" A shower of rapid-fire stabs flash towards your side, each one little more than a blur.

There's no time to turn, or leap away. You'll have to deal with it here and now.

Acceptable conditions.

The back of your Kuma-Tsume catches the first thrust just before impact, deflecting it past even as you lean past a second stab. This stab manages to score a burning cut across your side, however the pain is ignored. You're already busy shifting to take the third attack on your pauldron's rim.

During the ninth stab Thresh's Assault Balancer snakes out, the thin blade flashing towards your eyes while you're presumably too busy defending from his rush. Instead it clashes against your forehead protector, leaving nothing more than a cut across your cheek. Wisely your brother retracts it immediately thereafter, not leaving you a chance to tear it free with your teeth.

He's learned from our last fight, good.

Seventeen stabs, twenty-five, thirty-eight. You flow through the tumultuous barrage with nary a flesh wound, creeping subtly closer with every moment. Frustration flares across the Demon-Dragon's eyes. He's stronger than you, and faster by a wide margin. Every now and then one will slip through to cause a glancing cut, however something should have struck true by now.

He can't understand the subtle shifts in position that come from your levitation, millimeters shifted right or left that when combined with your physical movement and narrowed profile allow just enough leeway to avoid what should be glancing hits, and minimize the damage of anything greater.

You parry and dodge through another hundred thrusts in the next second, before finally entering the proper range. A Kuma Tsume sweeps up and extends, brushing past his next stab as it homes in on your throat.

Victory alights in your sibling's feral eyes. You're still out of range after all, meaning his stab will connect while your punch will hit nothing but empty air.

There's nothing special about your punch. It's merely an attack you've practiced a hundred thousand times. That is, a hundred thousand times with exactly identical form and timing each repetition. There's no thought process necessary, no delay in the communication between mind and body. Thresh may be faster than you, but the difference between a perfectly executed jab and his wild flailing is akin to the vastness of a Rookie and an Ultimate.

Internal propulsion levitates your body forward a fraction at just the correct timing, giving the mundane punch just enough range to make contact with your opponent's gut. And against all preconceived notions of speed, your attack connects first.

*Clang*

I've achieved a level beyond your reckoning brother.

A cloud of data bursts from the Cyborg's jaws, before your kinetic energy tosses him through another wall. You breathe out and take a second step, calmly funneling a modicum of Qi into the sand below in preparation of what comes next. A moment later the rubble is incinerated by a pillar of black flame.

"Brother!" Thresh snarls your name like a curse, emerging from the ash with steam billowing from his flesh. Pendulum Blades and frame alike taking on a crimson glow as they reach superlative temperatures.

So this is what his limits look like.

A breath is taken just before he disappears from your sight.

Satori.

===AN: It's been too long. Blame a mixture of travel and health. I hope you all enjoy this fight. It's been pretty awesome to write. And well, Verge has been highly confident for a good reason. As shown in these opening moments.
