Quick question just because the thought came to me suddenly, but why hasn't leopardmon already created a Omnimon? He seems to be on this server for a while now and getting a agumon and Gabumon up to mega shouldn't have been that much of a problem?
Getting an Omnimon is very difficult. Justinkal already explained most of it, but to expand…

Jogress capable mon are very rare. An Agumon and Gabumon capable of hitting weak Mega pre-yggy boost are even rarer due to this server's sage. Combine all three conditions and getting an Omnimon becomes near impossible. Moreoever because it's very much a sort of "even" jogress, giving just one of the pair Omni-juice would unbalance things. And trying to split up Ultra Instinct between two seperate, still hypothetical mon would be complicated to say the least.

On a more meta scale, Omnimon is very much a flagship of digimon and gets an incredible amount of love in canon. IC there's actually a reason why Leopardmon isn't actively trying to get to an Omnimon up and running. However that's spoiler territory.

So random thought but if a mon who could survive a hit from Verges new sun light laser attack did would they suffer from damage over time from the heat their body would be dealing with after?

"This?" Angemon waves the injuries off and snorts in amusement. "Yuh think this kind of pain means anything? Pfft, let me tell yuh, I get worse done to me every night by a crazy nun!"

… he's talking about Ciel. Spirits below, what kind of training does she put him through?!

... And my mind went straight into the gutter.

1st Of Steel: The Blue Skater Vs The Brightest Morningstar End
Come again?

Cyberdramon's two spiritual doppelgangers lack the original's full speed and power, but they're still deadly enough to sink their claws several inches into the angel's unprotected flesh. Without any pause the pair of spiritual constructs tear their hands free, ripping four of the angel's original wings away, along with a substantial portion of his flesh.

The Angel finally lets free a shout of pain, and wheels on the phantoms, however they're already fading away into nothingness.

"What?!/Huh?!" Your booth and the stands erupt into cries of shock as Cyberdramon floats back up, the hole in her stomach neatly closing within the space of a moment. If anything, the dramon looks untouched, as if every injury inflicted upon her had never happened in the first place.

Spirits below this is… a great deal to register. Did she allow herself to be stabbed? Or was her reaction exaggerated?

Either way, the match looks to have turned against Angemon, and decisively at that.

The Host audience turns into an uproarious, confused mess, with even SlashAngemon leaping to his feet in order to stare at the impossibly strong angel. Astamon stays sitting, however you catch the Gloaming's leader frowninging intensely at the wounded Champion..

"Eight wings, that's real weird." Schwartz murmurs curiously. "Those denote, like, an archangel."

"Aye, and he's neither a HolyAngemon or Angewomon." You agree, head tilting in confusion.

No, focus on the match Verge. CB can regenerate…

Which takes away the weakness posed by her comparative fragility. With this she should be fully capable of wearing her opponent down and eventually striking a vital point.

"Surrender and your pain ends." The Blue Cyberdramon snarls as another pair of phantoms emerge from her back. "I won't lose in this tournament. Not to you, not to anymon!"

"I'll admit, yuh caught me off guard." Angemon nods back before pointedly cracking his knuckles. "Good job there broad." The relaxed, cocky body language he's sported the entire match fades away, becoming utterly serious. "And if it were anymon other than me, then yuh might've won."

"Enough bravado, you can't win now." The skating dragon counters. "Forfeit before I'm forced to-"

"The ting is." Angemon cuts her off. "Healing like that don't just come from nowhere. Meaning all I've gotta do is keep breaking yuh until it runs out…" He trails off into a shrug. "Or yuh wuss out and go unconscious, either one works." With that a ninth wing sprouts out from just below his neck, appearing suddenly as if it had always been resting there.

"I'm ending this." CB spits back, her armor pulsating with blue light.

The dragon digimon vanishes from sight once again, her Phantoms flashing towards Angemon. The holy digimon is left facing three separate attacks, and to your surprise… he makes no move to avoid anything. He just raises a hand, and waits.

CB's claws lash across his throat, her first phantom sinks her hands into his stomach, while the second claws into his wounded side. Schwartz lets out a small cheer as what looks like a fight-ending series of blows is struck, however you know better.

Angemon takes the wounds without so much as a grunt of pain and counters, flicking CB's jaw hard enough that it and the nearby armor are pulverized into literal powder. Before either phantom can disappear, the Angel moves, shattering each construct with the mere passage of his body and catching up to the senseless cyborg.

Whereupon he kicks the Cybderdramon's back hard enough to atomize her wings. Along with a not insubstantial portion of her body. The rubber armor on her body actually becomes a boon to the attacking Champion, limiting the damage of each attack. Each damaged section starts to regenerate the moment after its struck, but that ends up mattering little as Angemon simply continues to re-break her time and time again.

The arena goes silent as Angemon locks his opponent in a barrage of stunning blows, smashing her back and forth through the sky in a devastating, never ending combination of blows. And for all her speed, there's nothing CB can do about it. Not with her body being repeatedly pulverized like this.

Angemon smashes CB downwards with a final axe-kick, annihilating the womon's armored shoulder, before appearing below to slam an open palm directly into her spine.

Mercifully, CB finally goes limp, and the arena warps back into reality.

"Spirits below, Sensei. How... how's a mon supposed to fight against that?!" Deimos gasps, staring at the *Champion* as if it were some sort of nightmare.

A good question.

"... hey dudes?" Schwartz murmurs, his eyes locked upon the victorious angel.

"Aye?"

"Yes Ser Schwartz?'

"What?"

"I don't think I like him. "

===Round 2 Final Brackets:

===AN: Most people were sure of NotLucemon's victory, and for good reason. However this was far closer than one might've thought due to CB, her speed and her species ability to bypass a large part of durability. She did almost manage to pull out a wing there mind you, Angemon really was in terrible shape at the end. Thing is, 100K+ endurance combined with the sin of pride means he has a *health pool* that's pretty Yggy-damned ridiculous.

Welp here's hoping Verge's sin drill technique is about equal in level of armour penetration as this and is relatively cheap ( not mega level spirit cost) to use.

Good show CB, it's sad she couldn't get the win she wanted and deserved but she gave him a damn good fight even with the nerf.

Time for Schwartz to get serious so he can go show that guy who's boss! (After the tournament.)

So is the next update gonna be the start of Thresh and Verge's fight?
Nah, Verge's gotta go heal Grademon's arm first.

I'll note, Verge has that same claw technique. However he can't vibrate his claws as fast as CB could so…

The less efficent nature is probably more than compensated for by Verge being vastly stronger.... and also Angemon being generally human sized meaning that Verge's claws are probably nearly as big as his arms.... which they are likley going to outright tear off if they impact while in Eraser Claw mode.

See, the thing is. She runs it off her agility stat… which I forgot to post at the fight's end. But then that gets boosted further because she can stack her special stat on top of that because she can use that to increase her agility further. I'll go and grab her stat block soon.

Maybe do a vote on whether you guys want to go right to the Thresh fight, or do the Grademon thing first.

Is Verge going to hunt Saberleomon after the battle with Thresh? Because we gonna need that sweet sweet data if we want to give our sisters apparently favorite chew toy a good whopping…

[] Do the Thresh fight first. Time to put the uppity younger brother in his place!

[] Do the Grademon healing option first. NotSamus is totally not a waifu.

Call it a warm up

and we can geek out over fighting techicges before we fight thresh so long as no one tells Ardat

We need a scene of Verge achieving peak chivalry before Thresh inevitably drags Verge down to his level.
