Remove Flight from that list and emphasize those last two, but yes.

Eh... *wobbles hand* Sorta but not really? E-Dodge is dodging really good, Soul just unmakes that instance before she gets hit, which isn't really the same thing.

BTW do folks have any questions about how souls work in setting? Thinking about reformatting the infodump on Discord to be suitable for SV, so I figure I'd collect questions from here too before I do.

How do the Souls connect to the person they match with, physically and how does this connection work considering the hyper divine entities like Gaia or even Void? :V

Well if I stab the soul does it in most cases count all the hyper unkillable things that count for a entities bodies normally have, or can I bypass all that bullshit because souls are technically not the same thing as the unmurderable body like the physical planet? Or is the body always the soul and thus nothing but flavor text for you to talk about?

No you can't stab a soul, souls are inherently immaterial.

You know that story about that guy who got a railway spike lodged into his head and then his personality changed? Imagine that but way worse.

...As I recall she has her No Longer Human (50%), Steel Frame (25%) that can be IIRC boosted to Mythril Frame (50%), she has her Unstoppable | Scale to Target spell with an auto-intercept-all-spells ability...

Hoo boy. With Legendary Might she is liable to have 10000 effective hp vs physical damage as she is now.

I assumed that Boosted Flight with its instant speed and direction change was suitable enough to count as magical assistance to dodging...
 
Due to a large number of inconsistencies in the setting, contradictory items left over from the early days of the quest, and a list of complaints both reasonable and stupid about the combat system, I find myself considering a reboot/revise large sections of the quest.

Note due to my job, and the fact 90% of this will have to be through my fucking phone, chances are it'll move at a glacial pace much like the current reality.

Regardless though, I thought I might as well put it to a vote for those of you still interested in this mess:



[] Fuck all that, keep going as is!
[] Full reboot, let's try again from the top!
[] Just revisions please! The quest needs work but I don't want to go through that trauma again.

I can't quite keep up with the changes, that way you got a clearer road map from the old quest for the new!

Not sure how much say I have in this, considering I just started reading this quest two days ago and have only read through pages 1 to 523. Still working on reading 624 to 767(?). But...

I would rather see the story come to a satisfactory conclusion...and maybe a reboot later down the line, if you really do create a revised system for everything. Hopefully one that does not have as much salt being thrown around, because...wow there were a lot of arguments.

I honestly haven't noticed anything too contradictory, but that might be due to the fast pace I am reading at. Also, I don't believe that the quest will suffer if it continues as it is because I can see how it has improved since the day one. I think all quests really change for better and worse and the best part of a quest is seeing that change.

Watcher, if you want to reboot it, at least wait until after it's DONE. I like to think of reboots as something akin to NG+, anyway.
