This is a wonderful story and we need to ensure that somehow Nepgear hears about this ASAP. As far as she knows her career as a Magical Girl has saved a grand total of Zero people. Knowing she saved an entire class of school kids will do wonders for her mental well being.

Yeah...I can see why Children of Nightmare go bonkers then. Poor them. The Greater Nightmares seem like some deity deciding to be the biggest jackass in all of history.

Ah but consider the NPCs in question. Angel WEAPON and East both respawn upon Death and Goddess White is immune to anything that is not a OHKO surprise attack, or I suppose 5 attacks in one turn that each do between 20% and 24% of her health, since she resets to peak condition the following turn.

So really the only person down here, besides Team GEAR, who is at any real risk of dying is Nepgear.

The invisitext is so obviously hinting that Nepgear is to the right that I'm paranoid, but on the other hand it would be foolish to make a choice simply because all the evidence is against it.

Also, I'm really curious as to how the baddies pulled this off. I wasn't surprised to see Maiden of the West chained up, since she just got rekt. Hero Weapon, though, was absolutely fresh and stronger. Probably some kind of expensive sacrifice ritual, since these guys seem to like them so much.

No references to "Sea of Time" come to mind, but one reference to "Stream of Time" come to mind immediately, and its one that does have a right to be associated with Nightmares.

Encountering an expy of Lina Inverse or Ruby Eye Shabranigdu right now would be very bad indeed! Technically though, if an expy of something from Slayers was to appear here, the Lord of Nightmares would fit best, but that's more of a Cosmos tier entity.
