You mean one that would be liable to malfunction after being left on over the course of four hours? People say tinkertech is bullshit, yet it needs repairs on a weekly, sometimes daily basis.

A Microphone is fairly simple, it is likely, that the Parabolic part would be the only Tinkertech in it. Most likely, tinker materials, to increase the efficiency of the sound being captured.

So far, it seems to be only Taylor, I've spotted anyone else on a reread, even Oni Lee, while aware of Ammy's nature, can't see the markings. More than likely because he is still damaged.

I've also never seen a consistent record of Ammy's size, apparently most people just see a dog because no one reacts like she's anything special, but we also have people saying that same dog is the size of a donkey.

It's kinda funny, but that's one of the things I overlook because of my built in "Goddess, Principle Goddess at that, She could do whatever She wants" reasoning. Plus, I mean, wolves irl are surprisingly large from what I've read, like Shetland Pony large.

In other words, Ammy's a wizard. For She's never small or big, but precisely the size She needs to be.

I kept meaning to ask this and maybe it has already been answered but can people not see Ammy's red markings?
Only people who are in some way special can see the markings.
If I recall correctly, in canon Okami two of the few people could see Ammy's divine nature were the descendant of a great hero who collaborated with a previous incarnation of Amaterasu to slay Orochi, and an exorcist Miko.

Don't forget that Yatsu the dead priest was the only person who was able to see Ammy true form

There were the two sisters in the capital and traveling the country. The young girl could see Ammy's markings right away. The older sister might have too, but she didn't want to believe. And she only feels bad about that during the climax. 'Oh, has the doggy not come back because I made fun of its markings?' I think was the line.

that parts fine, but Danny's credit card couldn't handle what it'd take to get that painting, it's doubtful the PRT would have the budget.
When people use the word 'priceless', they normally mean 'would cost a heck of a lot of money', which kinda devalues the word.

This painting, on the other hand, is a centuries-old national treasure from a country with millenia of history and culture that has been lost for a decade. It is, in the most literal sense possible, priceless.

Could easily be part of Armsmaster's utility Halberd?
What makes you think the PRT is going to let him do a stakeout on the cape that has caused him to set off M/S protocols multiple times?

Brockton Bay would be the kind of place where innocence is considered a unique trait, wouldn't it?

He described her true form as a beautiful or graceful maiden wearing a pure white dress, right? He called Kirin a booger. :lol
Taylor is closer in this category.
All of a sudden I want Taylor to fight a cape that triggered as the equivalent in of Sadako (The Grudge, The Ring) or Hisako (playable character from Killer Instinct). The ability to travel through TV screens is preferred but optional.

You know while I agree there are ways the PRT could have recorded Taylor and Lung's conversation I think the results of them not being able to hear what was said would be more amusing. Because if they didn't hear what was said it looks like Lung is bending a knee to this new cape (especially if they hear some rumors about the sidewalks)

So with Oni Lee being from Fukuoka...

Might the Shrine of Brockton Bay attempt to start some festival Yamakasa races? The Temple in Fukuoka after all was dedicated to Amaterasu and Susanoo.

Hakata Gion Yamakasa - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Of course, seeing all the members of the ABB dressed in head-bands, half-shirts and fundoshi while carrying a huge festival float/mobile shrine might cause the PRT to Implode.

Nevermind if they'd built one for each "captain" under Lung and did races.

Hey it no more weirder than the wife carrying competition.
Or the office chair racing events

Edit:
It anyone is wondering what the Yamakasa races look like
Look at your own risk

On the SB thread, you are now required to explicitly label short posts as short posts. That being extremely arbitrary, I think I'll just post here on SV's Constellations thread, from now on.

Anyways, I really can't say anything that hasn't already been talked about. I just really like how the tone of Lung chapters is so different from all the other chapters, but still manages to keep everyone's character consistent. I eagerly await the next installment, and hope to see what happened to the not-yet-and-maybe-never-Bakuda.

I want people's reaction to this meeting.

The ABB-Crew, The E88, Coil, Merchants, PRT...

Rumours travel faster than all but light, and this has got to be setting off alarms in the city.

I want the Social Media/PHO reactions to "Miko", "taming the dragon".

I especially want to see the Baachan social circles reaction to the Painting that by now hangs in the Honden, of this shrine to Amaterasu. A Bona Fide National Treasure of Japan, thought lost with Kyushu.

I want the Japanese Ambassador's reaction when he finds that out, because eventually it'll get to the PRT and the PRT will tell "appropriate" authorities.

With what has just happened, I expect the Shrine to become rather well visited.

Let's see... The baachan's are going to spread the story of the Shrine's treasure among the community. Not that people will believe it to be real, not really. But it's a good story, and people will want to at least say that they went to see it.

Add the fact that the baachans are going to talk about their Miko's tea ceremony with Lung (and how they helped her get ready), so when it comes out that Taylor now has a peaceful shrine and two sidewalks people will really see her as somebody special. After all, she stood up to the Dragon and came out ahead.

So we're probably going to see quite an increase in people visiting the shrine.
