QA is an unreliable narrator. What she thought was a shard may not be an actual shard.
Could be, but what ever it was, I actually thought that it controlled all the antagonists, although it is possible that every big unit has a personality like Decimator.

Considering in the Quest that the Antagonists have had a mini civil war, they are not united.
I thought that this was part of the AU Alivaril had introduced in the opening chapter... Or was that actually QA successfully bluffing her way past another sort of multidimensional entity which now thinks she's one of it?...
Do you mean this part?
AN: As with It's Not Wrong, this isn't an actual fusion. There's just overlap, similarity, lies, and misinterpretation. Knowledge of @Avalanche's quest BAHHSCQ isn't required (especially since liberties have been taken), but is highly recommended; it's an excellent read and you'll probably enjoy this more. Knowledge of Sanctioned beyond the first two story posts (~1k words) also isn't necessary, but may help.

Again, this isn't an actual fusion. QA is just horribly misinterpreting things and a very unreliable narrator in general. Feedback is appreciated.

...with all this talk about how awesome Shard communication protocols are, are we going to see anything new from Decimator?
What even the UN considers to be an excessive number of missiles. :V

Man, are the author's notes just utterly invisible (see first two posts)? No, the Antagonists are not shard-made. :p

I thought that he is much more than a single antagonist, I actually thought that all of them were controlled and created by the same shard.
It is regardless of whether QA guessed right on the origin of Antagonists or not. Decimator says that that they are after Valkyrie Cores, so I think that they aren't going to let any of them escape into space if they can help it.

Edit: wrong thread, fic is still wonderful, etc etc.

Jokes aside, hope this doesn't distracts too much from QA in Orario, those friends need help as well!

Isn't it awfully convenient that Shardspeak and Antagonist-speak are so similar?
Maybe because both are pretty optimized forms of language, and Taylor did say that Queen didn't hear everything, so Taylor might have needed some time to decode their language completely.

Fire breathing, dragon winged, unicorn that can breath fire and has a poisonous snake as a tail.

With a tentacle tongue.
