Count me as one that enjoys the Crafting Club and hopes to see more of them. I'm looking forward to their 'analysis' getting back to Coke Zero.

Wait, did they just give her a cover story for making more Friends? Because that looks an awful lot like a good cover story. She could even excuse her Friend limit as a restriction placed on her due to prior misbehavior. QAylor's shrink is going to need a shrink before she's done, I think.

One is mental, the other physical, but from a shard's point of view I'm not sure if there is a difference.

And so far it is proving to be worth the wait.

Being locked in the simulator also means that she can't escape without causing property damage.
Actually she can, but teleporting without securing clearance from the Arcology traffic control is rude and may crash the sim for everyone else.

I figure the Crafting Club are all talking over each other, QA, unlike most humans can parse that many parallel 'conversations' and respond to the group as a whole. I rather suspect that this is a required secondary power for continued membership.

Edit: I suspect that QA may find this state of affairs either cute, or comforting as it's reminiscent of being part of an Entity.

Also:
Psychology is Biology
Biology is Chemistry
Chemistry is Physics
Physics is Mathematics

You are wrong, friendship is biology.

Pretty sure there is another Club that would be interested in a mathematical proof for the optimal way to socialize.

The Shipping Chart is an infinite multidimensional equation.
It has been said that the Vex took one look at the shipping chart then admitted defeat, Shards bow to its incredible information density and scale, and that Slannesh to this day denies that they ran away screaming like a little girl the last time they saw it coming...

Iä Iä Shipping Chart Fhtagn!

Author's Note: I used to have a policy of not posting past 7:00 PM EST to avoid people staying up too late, but I've relaxed that a bunch lately. I can re-implement it if I'm messing up people's sleep schedules, disincentivizing conversation, etc. ^^; YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE
People all over the world follow along on SV. You might help some teens on the american continent, but the rest of the world would have to practice self control like normal well adjusted people. But hey, just update as you want to. People will read if they like it.

It is but a fragmented sliver of the true Shipping Chart then! :p

QA arriving will also add in connections to other branches and greatly increase the information density of the local one.
Also
Anna dumped a 9+ TB equation at the UN explaining the basics of the physics of her ultimate attack "wave force".

The UN is building a superweapon on the moon, called the God Gun, using similar principles.

After a little player wrangling, Anna is teaching the art of how to use wave force without killing yourself to the instructors at Perth while further refining it.

Anna can't use wave force without risking limbs and compromising her impeller.
The "n TB equation" is the significant reference to BAHHSSQ.

YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE
I don't wait for updates, but I do read them when I see them. And with how late you have posted the last two, the chance of an update exacerbating my poor sleeping habits is exceedingly small.
If they can casually throw around that level of production they could just build arks and evacuate the planet.
They have already tried an ark ship in canon. It was blown up by a Type 0.

Also, if they ever manage to kill it, every single Arcology is prepared so that it can also be used as an emergency escape arc.

At this point in the war, if they need a new arcology, they usually repurpose a Battleship Valkyrie that's served her time on the line as both overseer, and foundation.

...

Also, the big thing in the Crafting Club hangar? Big gun the size of a skyscraper?
A Valkyrie can have multiple of those in storage and reconfigure them on thef fly.

Hell, a Valkyrie made that in storage.

...with all this talk about how awesome Shard communication protocols are, are we going to see anything new from Decimator?

I absolutely adore the Crafting Club here. They indeed approach the same role as Hestia in INW. Also, Robot Unicorn Attack and Pure-chan. And tentacle sheep. And all the other hilarity happening this chapter.
Back to CC: the way they talk is absolutely integral to their characterisation, but, yeah, if some people are having problems with it maybe try and make it less visually cluttered or something? Not sure what else can help without losing all the wonderful nuance and interplay happening currently.
Also, the last two chapters are definitely higher quality. Feels like the story hit it's stride.
You're awesome, @Alivaril
(Though, I'd really love some more INW when you have the chance)
Also, thank you for introducing me to BAHHSCQ. Binged. Loved. Praying it updates. Someday.

The trick to reading CC (and any other such jumble of speech), I find, is not to think about it too much. Don't try to parse it or grasp or whatever, just let it flow.

Now that you mention it, Decimator didn't get the warning about QA's signature anti-forgery protocols. I suspect 'anything new' consists of unexplained crystal growths and screaming.
"What sort of *Bleep!* of a Shard has this sort of nonsense embedded in their identifier!? How do you get rid of it!? Why does it keep coming back!?

Maybe I shouldn't have tried to 'prank' her like that..."

If they ever manage to kill it (or overwhelm it with targets, for that matter), I'm sure another one will pop up, especially in Calibration.
I thought that he is much more than a single antagonist, I actually thought that all of them were controlled and created by the same shard.

IIUC, Antagonists and Valkeries aren't actually Shard based. QA being wrong-genre-savvy is just part of her charm.
