and this still isn't an actual fusion
You keep saying this, but what do you mean by it?
Nicknamed "Pure-chan" by Perth Valkyrie Academy's Crafting Club. <UNOMI 23189: Stop removing the alternative translations, 33181.> <UNOMI 33181: They mean the same thing.> <UNOMI 23189: It's intended to let people know who's being referenced, you milk-swilling moron.>
Hah, the nickname war has spread to UNOMI.
You know, when I think about QA making a unicorn Friend, the result is usually less "pure and majestic" and more...
Made me think of the aforementioned Equoid. Go read it, cool story (if you aren't averse to horror, that is).

It's not a fusion means that QA is the only thing from her setting here. This setting maintains all of its original conceits and flavors, QA is the OCP in this situation. The kind of simple OCP that treats most humans time trash and is very slowly being led to develop empathy and actual emotions by Taylor hiding out in her shard.

This Isn’t A Fusion
You keep saying this, but what do you mean by it?
When QA mistakes Antagonists for other shards, Valkyrie Cores as shardtech, etc., she's totally full of it and is simply misunderstanding matters. :p

underground complex armored with unknown alloys.
If Taylor knew more about the setting, I'd expect the UN to find fake evidence that the bunker belongs to that group which researched artificial Valkyrie compatible humans and produced Sandra. "Failed experiment" would have been the perfect cover to explain any oddities, including QA's unusual biological focus.

Then, one of their theories would probably be that Symbie literally is QA's younger sister - another of the experimental subjects whose consciousness was uploaded to live on in QA's Valkyrie Core.

Alas, I doubt Taylor could have found out about that project during her EOOUI search.

With great — and arguably excessive given the results — enthusiasm. Because of said enthusiasm, I haven't decided whether to have it shown in a later interlude or merely be mentioned.

Wow. So, uh... I didn't realise this at all. I thought the bunker just so happened to have an underground complex as a coincidence. I didn't even know Taylor could affect the physical world like that. I figured she could edit the falna in INW because that was magic, and immaterial to some degree. I did not know she could construct a full fledged complex out of nothing... Did she construct that complex out of the weapons QA just absorbed? That's terribly wasteful Taylor!

Also, QA... I didn't realise it before, but why do you have so much biomass? I now note that chapter 1 referenced that Symbie had a certain amount of stored biomass, but where did she get that from? Was it just automatically produced as a result of creating the Ant-style Valk core? No, wait, I just realised... She can just pull random amounts of biomass slurry from alternate dimensions because of her Friend-making specialty right? Shards are so OP. One wonders what the humans will make of things when QA continues making disturbingly organic Valk parts even after being given access to considerable amounts of conventional weaponry.

It's amazing how many changes there are, going from medieval Orario to a high tech society with high fidelity scanners. I didn't realise they'd take note of the non-malignant brain growth and the mostly organic nature of QA's weaponry, but of course they would. Also, wow those info hacking requests... Certainly tells an interesting story. Taylor is definitely crafting a narrative here. She has to be having lots of fun with how QA is unwittingly supporting that narrative. The info requests came before QA dropped the lobotomy/brainwashing bomb right? Taylor was clearly covering their bases to construct a proper backstory, and QA managed to reinforce it just by being herself. Taylor must have accounted for that when constructing the cult story. I'm now wondering just how much of that 'automatically choosing lasagna and shielding food' thing was truly reflexive...

Anyway, that was a fascinating look at what info everyone has gathered on QA. I wonder how they'll eventually explain her 'uncharacteristic infatuation' with Anna. Cult had a strong focus on self improvement and combat readiness?

Looking forward to the next part!

Well, Taylor did steal all those Magic Stones in INW...

QA exploits her shapeshifting for biomass in Sanctioned, I assume she has done so here as well. And as soon as she had hammerspace, she saved some up in case she won't be able to later.

I thought she could do that because they were magic... Did she steal a bunch of scrap metal lying around outside? Because if she took metal from within the arcology, they would definitely have noticed that.

There may have been metal on-site. Or anywhere else on Earth, for that matter. Doubt UN would notice some Antagonist buildings missing.

Coma’d Taylor Limitations
So, QA doesn't yet know this, but eh. It's mostly trivia anyway.

Taylor's primary interface for QA's systems is, as a bunch of readers already know, lucid dreaming. The outside world is also converted and interpreted through this distorted lens. What isn't converted are people. Taylor experiences social interactions through QAylor, but that can almost be considered disconnected from Taylor herself; she can't aim that way.

However, since environments are reflected in dreaming, what she can do is aim at locations and subsequently warp them to her bidding ala squishy lucid dreams. The versions in her dreams have, as a general rule, had all their sharp edges rounded off and are softer in general; they're still identifiable as the original thing, but it's like the difference between a huge Halloween decoration spider (Taylorvision) and an actual freakishly large spider (the reality). Things that are already soft and fluffy don't receive this treatment, which blurs the line between horror and huggable and makes horrors seem as though they're not that bad yet.

The moral of the story here is that Taylor built an over-the-top haunted underground complex in her dreams – complete with a variety of different attractions – and it turned into a nightmare complex in reality.

(Sadly, I don't get to share that interlude until after QA's first therapist appointment. :p)

My gosh. Taylor is a reality warper. That never properly hit me before, but... Taylor is a reality warper. Talk about OP powers. Just so long as there's no one living where she wants to warp, she could literally dream up a full sized industrial complex with all the bells and whistles. Or a nightmare hive of monsters. Or heck, she could dream up chocolate rivers and giant pools of jellos. So, so OP.

So if they crack open that bunker, are they going to find some kind of nightmare surgical suite, covered in dried blood (all hers) with a valkyrie grade eletro-convulsive therapy machine and the unholy spawn of a cranial drill and a boring auger?

*cough* I should probably avoid discussing it further before the actual interlude so that the barrage of stuff heads properly into narm / horror comedy instead of just a bunch of drip-fed horror. Sorry. :p

Well, the rate appears to be trending upwards.
"Average person eats 3 Antagonists a year" factoid is actually just statistical error. average person eats 0 Antagonists per year. Antagonists Anna, who lives in Alaska and eats over 10,000 each day, is an outlier adn should not have been counted.
