I know that you meant that as a joke but giving how everyone turned into goo at the end of the series that is probably how it's done. After all how else can they make giant alien flesh parts at a rate that would be useful. I mean how often do the Eva's lose massive amount of flesh, the kind that would leave people permanently crippled(as in a permanent stay in a hospital bed kind of crippled), if not dead, but are up an running again in a weeks time?
