Hmm, Fink is the Obvious Choice for one of the Hero's...clearly.
As for the other one... Apu is good, but I'm partial to Fat Tony if only because his resources have multiple benefits.

Fink is a given considering all the gadgets he created, kinda on the bench with Fat Tony cause we will have to get our hands dirty.

Hmmm, so during the Dome Incident, organized crime basically cannibalized itself, leaving most of them either dead or fleeing the premise and some like Fat Tony up the creek without a paddle? Fine by me.
Honestly, the fact that we have to spend one action every third turn propping up his outfit to keep him happy coupled with the tendency of DVV quests to throw us curveballs and the most inconvient times (the Kataklysm over at *Doofquest* and the whole UNRESOLVED Lemuria issue over at *Prince Ali*) makes me a bit wary of picking Fat Tony regardless of his aptitude at...*clandestine* tasks - seriously, for those I kinda prefer Snake, especially since his archeology degree could come in useful should we ever get the opportunity to go on treasure hunts like the whole Felldrake spiel over at DQ and because he´s *Comparetively* less high-maintenance than Fat Tony.
Other than that, Frink is a MUST since it might synergize nicely with our nuclear power base, if nothing else.

With Professor Frink's gadgets and Apu's insane work ethic and/or Groundskeeper Willie's brawn, I'm not sure we need any devils. I'll be approval-voting for all three of them. I want people who can solve problems and work together, not who will cause problems and get us into pointless trouble.
Maybe, maybe Snake, because he comes with fewer strings attached.

Yeah, I´d be with you on *definitely* Frink and then either Apu or Willie - if this quest works anything like DQ, we should still be able to mop up the one we didn´t pick as well as Snake later.
But again, I really rather not prop up Fat Tony again - call me biased, but I´d like to play Abe as one of the more upstanding "Nobles" and take the opportunity to move Springfield away from being "America´s spitoon".

My two cents, we've been told the criminal underworld ate itself because of the isolation, bit it's now looking to restart. We either need to take control of it or stamp it out. If we don't recruit Fat Tony, we have to get rid of Fat Tony.

Not canon, not only the Simpson deflate god, they break the forth wall and kearn they are in a video game. But hard to add that tbh.
And from the comments I've seen about Fat Tony let me try and clear some doubts/ say some things.
He is not as High maintenance as he may seem, we weren't clear in that in the update. It the personals are from fat Tony, no Abe personals will be used on this.
Also helping him get back the mafia will make his opinion skyrocket. You guys help him? You get a fully loyal mafia that will listen to Abe. There will be no attempts of Fat Tony of backstabbing you or being bribed by someone else. He will keep his word. It will take time to get the mafia fully formed though.
Also yeah, currently the criminal side of Springfield is. A bit empty, but that WIlL Change in the following turns. You guys could try and take control of it if you wish, but without the right hero units/resources/preparation that will be hard to do so, depending who' ends up setting their eyes on Springfield.

Apu's reroll ability is pretty strong and could minimize failure on important rolls, however, Willie seems like a better all-rounder.

Not many heroes will start with high loyalty/be loyal to you yeah, but you guys and Abe can take actions/steps to raise it and change that.
Wherever you guys decide to do it or not is another completely different manner.

Again, rn Fat Tony is *Alone* and the cops are *Armed to the teeth, including at least one tank* - if we´re gonna merc FT, we got pretty good cards for it atm.
Meeh, I still get the feeling that in the end, Fat Tony will be in the stronger position if we prop him up.
