Searching for Shen's requests first, Louse easily found a brokerage in Boston that could procure and transport large amounts of titanium and platinum, the only stipulation seeming to be an arbitrary rule that the order must be for an even number of ingots, at an even weight, and for a well rounded price. Thankfully their page on the 'web' had a convenient conversion tool, so she didn't need to do the math in her head.
After a brief message to the company using their contact page, she found that this whole list might be much easier than expected. The same company could also arrange for the 'rare earth metals' and this lithium stuff, which she was shocked to discover was a flammable metal, but those were heavily regulated by the local royalty. Apparently these 'Tinkers' had a tendency to build dangerous devices and monitoring the trade of certain things helped identify where they operated. Not only that, but the Protectorate used a large portion of their funding to purchase rarer materials, which increased the price.
Opening another window into the nonphysical world, she easily found Shen's mining equipment and an 'atmoshperic condenser'. She had no idea what condensed atmosphere was supposed to be, but the machine made water out of thin air, so it had to be magic. Despite an enchanted item being on the list of machinery, none of his equipment requests cost nearly as much as the metals he wanted. Where as the total price of the machinery was just over one hundred and twenty thousand, the platinum alone was twice that for a tonne of the stuff.
She had a feeling that when the nurse said she couldn't spend all of her newfound wealth, the woman hadn't quite had bulk purchases of resources and heavy equipment in mind. Deciding to search for the large white word 'ExSellsior' that was written on the front of the card, she quickly entered all of the necessary information she could to set up an account with the bank or whatever it was. Thankfully she was able to bypass much of the process by entering the random numbers on the face of her plastic rectangle and verify that she was a 'protectorate affiliated parahuman'... at least, she had met Miss Militia on twice now and they were the ones she healed to make the money.
If they wanted to make an issue of it, they were welcome to try their luck.
Unfortunately her suspicions were correct. Even after the mass healing she'd done, there was only ninety thousand on the card. Not enough to purchase the machinery, much less any of the metals other than titanium. After a brief moment of panic that she only had ninety thousand ecu and might need to pawn off the family manor, she remembered three important facts. First, she didn't have a family home anymore. Two, the locals used their 'dollars' and she didn't know the exchange rate. Lastly, all she needed to do was wait for or create another emergency to double her money.
While healing a few peasants every so often would add to her wealth, it seemed their lives were just as worthless as she had already known, even to each other. If the mass slaughter of their (most probably) expensively trained defenders wasn't even as costly as tools to dig in the dirt, this would take much longer than the two month maximum that had been set.
Sighing despondently, she decided just to move onto Vahlen's list for now. Soil samples could be gathered in person and animals were easy enough to subdue, so she focused on obtaining a way to find test subjects. Since willing subjects were easier to control, she started there and soon found a promising website called HookUP. They claimed to have helped over one hundred thousand people, so she didn't even bother looking for an alternative. Since the site openly advertised as a dating service and she was fairly certain they weren't focused on the tiny fruit, that only left facilitating public meetings and professional conversation, which was perfect for her needs.
Making an account was much more difficult than the bank's had been, forcing her to go to another place to make an electronic mailing address and then provide a brief background as well as a picture. A vague description of being raised in a strict environment before moving to the city with her grandfather, her dislike of germanian dogs, a poorly shot picture at arm's length were all that she bothered with. She assumed the topics such as favorite food and hobbies were for meal arrangements during a meeting and small talk respectively. Hitting the submit button, she logged off and stared at the rising sun as she tried to think of what to do about her lack of funding.

Choose 1:
[] Use what you have to purchase the titanium and as much of the machinery as possible. Have it delivered to-
-[] A location near the anitque shop lair, it'll require waiting around on the day of the delivery, but invisibility should make sure you can hide it until a portal is established.
-[] The Dallon home, nobody would steal from a girl known to have super strength.
[] Put off purchasing big items until you have enough to do it at once.
How to spend the day:
[] Find Madison and follow her around to work on blending in, it'd be strange to any outside observers if the only people you spend time with are the Dallons even though you 'just moved' to the city.
[] Go to the Dallons and complain/eat their food.
[] Wait around the hospital all day and wait for anyone to message your HookUP account.
[] Write in.
