Assuming I remember to do so, yes. Unfortunately, I frequently just make an edit on word pad and save before shutting the computer off, not even thinking about it.
Ah man... I hadn't realized how much I missed this quest until today's update.
As for the quest future, I think the planned outcome #3 looks fine if it means we get to keep going once more. Even with the relatively slow updates, this quest and it's story are still very much worth waiting for.
Although that Does also make me wonder what the other 4 outcomes could've been, I'm not so sure if it's a good idea to reveal them due to potential of salt. If we can get a relatively good and useful result from this chaotic mess, then I'll gladly take it now than to risk even more crazy shenanigans from the voters screwing ourselves over.

Yeah, you're probably right about not revealing the other results. Suffice to say that one would obviously be total victory if you guys did everything right. The rest can remain a mystery.
There's a great deal of merit in trimming things down to focus, especially after a hiatus and loss of notes that makes it hard to juggle where things are currently going. I'm perfectly fine with you taking us to the most-likely conclusion to the Remnant arc so that you can neatly wrap up various dangling plot threads and side-character-arcs to your satisfaction.
The core of this quest is a zany journey across fictional realms with our favourite morally-ambiguous conjuror and his trusty traumatized WMD of an apprentice. We've built up a home base and a cast of side-characters through much effort and devastation, and I think the best path forward is, once we're done with the Remnant arc, leave our home base in place somewhere while Cynric, Louise, and perhaps a couple others head off to explore other worlds for magical loot and do what we do best.
We're no longer fleeing the loss of our home, we've built a new home for ourselves, and continue to explore the multiverse for fun and profit instead of because we have nowhere else to go. That's a tonal shift that I think would befit a new thread.
Interrupting her sister's denials, the human Victoria asked, "Can we talk about that? I mean, I can't be the only one concerned by him doing his best Tsun impression, right?"
"That's a bit rude to Tsun, don't you think?" The lone boy spoke, needing no introduction for Sienna to recognize him as the Arc scion. The hair and emblem made it rather obvious.
"Yeah, he's a bit... reserved, but not a brain-dead zombie like this dude." The other blonde, Yang, said and Blake nodded in agreement. "No offense, Weiss-cream."
Something about what the girl said made Tyne, his apprentice, the Dallons, and Schnee's daughter display various degrees of amusement and disgust. Hinata, the white pupilless-eyed child who radiated danger just smiled nervously.
I think I finally realized what Tsun and his whole situation reminds me of: Rabbit from the Harry Potter fic Lily and the Art of Being Sisyphus. Albeit, Tsun is significantly less alarming than Rabbit. They're both completely alien and have the personality of a brick wall, yet are inexplicably attractive to the people around them because they're just so "traumatized," mysterious and handsome.
Also, Hinata "radiating danger" is never not great.
For whatever reason, Tyne seemed to have surrounded himself with children. Why, Sienna could only guess, probably because they were powerful in some way while still being easier to influence than adults.
… Huh. I never really thought about it before. They really did kinda add up after a while.
An accurate assessment, I suppose, but thankfully not the worst way she could have interpreted that. Especially with Cynric's burgeoning Accidental Harem Protagonist status.
"Um..." A voice starts, drawing all eyes to Pyrrha. The redhead's apparent ostracization over the Arc boy's near murder meant she rarely spoke up the few times you've seen her. "I understand my input might not be welcome..."
Grinning, Ruby chirps, "Yeah, you're right! We just need to beat them, why didn't I think of that?!"
Your eyes meet Louise's and she gives a helpless shrug as you both know what's happening. By the expression on Yang's face, she does too.
"Oh, right." She continues, slapping a hand to her forehead. "Because that's impossible!"
"Ruby, calm down." Her sister tries, visibly regretting the table between them, but is brushed off.
'Telling people to calm down always works. Good idea, child.' You think, marveling at the girl's idiocy.
"Why? Because I'm supposed to cheer up and go back to normal? So we can throw our lives away fighting a pointless war for no reason?"
Arc apparently cannot help himself, asking, "Isn't protecting people a good enough reason?"
"Oh, grow up, Jaune." Ruby scoffs, causing him to recoil. This... is not the same bright and cheerful girl you recall meeting a while back, so you can only imagine how her peers must feel. "We could kill thousands of Grimm and rescue a hundred villages and it wouldn't matter. The longer we fight, the more people die because we can't actually protect them all. We can't be everywhere, we can't kill all the Grimm, and even if Salem's lying about being immortal, killing her just means we lose any chance at ever stopping the Grimm. In case you didn't hear, the Grimm are on other planets too."
Nikos stepped in to argue for the blonde boy, "Yes, b-"
A wasted effort.
"Giant ones. Like, 'could bite an Atlas cruiser in half' giant and that's just what we saw from the moon!" Pushing herself away from the table, the girl threw her hood over her head and made for the door, pausing long enough to add, "We either take her offer and make peace, or every death from here on out is on our hands. I know what side I'm on."
As the doors swung back and forth on their hinges, Weiss gracefully stood to speak. "Well, if we're all agreed?"
Yang's burning fist met the table, scattering pieces everywhere.
Wow. And here I thought Ruby was the one for us to be most worried about doing something rash and disastrous for us. But it turns out she's the one most in favour of this whole thing.
Hmm. That's a tough one. I guess I'd say: whichever choice you think would be best for the quest.
On the one hand, I'd love to see this quest continue, even if it'd only be at a much slower pace. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: "This is definitely one of my favourite quests. This beautiful disaster. I fuckin' love it." You really did capture lightning in a bottle with this one.
On the other hand, I'm not gonna lie, I don't think any quest so consistently fills me with quite as much anxiety as this one does. (Watching all these trainwrecks is stressful, dammit! Cynric's been getting away with this shit for so long that I live in perpetual fear of the other shoe dropping.) So as much as I adore this quest and would love to see it continue, I'll admit that I wouldn't be too disappointed if you decided to focus on writing other things instead. Of course, it helps that Shaping Up and its spin-off have both been great, so it's not like we're not still getting quality content.
So, yeah, I'll just wish you the best of luck with whichever choice you make, and say thank you for this wonderful journey regardless of how it all turns out. It's been a blast, @PieceThruWar.
I've been here from the beginning, but this quest grew a bit too complex for me to take active part in it. And I won't lie, turning it into a trauma conga line for the characters may have had something to do with it too. Somewhere along the way it became "how long it will take us to break another one and what form will it take". It racked up the amusement factor, but it made it harder to care for what is going to happen next.
Since long-term plans would prove complicated with the updates getting rarer (and we weren't exceptional planners at the best of times), I am not at all opposed to speeding up the most probable conclusion to the current arc. I would even argue in favor of disclosing all the outcomes, because it is likely that the necessary conditions for them would either be too obscure, or require a lot more consistent setup to pull off than what we've seen so far.
I've been pretty amazed with all the plot hooks running in the background throughout the different dimensions we visited on top of what we could see with our own eyes. You probably could have run a Civ Builder quest better than most if you had an inclination for it. And the character interactions have been top notch. So on one hand I am quite fond of what we have, and on the other, I just want to lay the tortured characters to rest and see what you could do with a new story arc, or better yet, a new story.
Having a stable platform to jump from, and some allies to keep everythig safe, is incredibly useful. I wish we had done it sooner, like maybe not blowing up Fallout and constantly throwing ourselves back because "fun" but a somewhat clean slate to move on from should be great.

I'll post the other outcomes and prerequisites in the discussion in the new thread at some point. Not immediately, since I'd prefer not to derail things immediately, but maybe after ten or so chapters so people can settle in.
Maybe this was/is headed for some similarities with Civ Builder type quests... probably not, but it was always an option since I've been pretty free with allowing write ins. The current buildup could eventually end there anyway once you guys get far enough in the new thread. I still prefer writing character driven narratives though, so don't expect a whole lot of generic 'Mass effect fanfic' type listing off stuff that happened without really showing it. Idk if what I mean is entirely clear, but yeah.
All I can say is I'm looking forward to whatever you decide for the future.
And I agree the fix has gotten a bit... bloated? It would be nice to see it go back to Tyne, louise and a friend or two adventuring on new worlds to find new magic and stuff.
Reposting this because I realized that the last one wasn't threadmarked, so no notification was sent out to inform those who aren't aware of what is going on.
Alright, so I've read through the discussion and I've decided to go ahead and make a new thread. Here's the link, stop on by for the first chapter.
Void Voyaging
A sea of stars stretched into infinity.
Corpses floated by the external camera's, installed when non-visual means of sensing failed to accurately track the beasts made of decaying Divinity. Dozens, hundred, thousands even; the twisted, mindless creatures had come from every nook, crevice, crater, and debris field they could hide in. Try as they might, the nightmare reflections of animals proved unable to cause significant damage to the ship.
A Staff that harnessed a source of power so vast as to be incomprehensible fueling the ship's shields; no claw or tooth or battering might could leave so much as a scratch. A Crown providing foresight as to the importance held by the wearer's decisions; the combined wisdom, experience, and skills of the crew could better contemplate the best actions to take. A Sword forged of Darkness with a single purpose; no defense would be enough. An expended Lamp, questioned one last time and drained of power; their goal was within reach, all four Relics united for a single cause.
The Void Voyager set out to slay the gods.
This is probably going to be my last post in this thread. Please take any new comments, questions, or concerns to the new thread.
