Every time Lisa gets hurt, I feel a sense of contentment and joy in my chest. Clearly, we have to switch to Cynric and drag her into the insanity.
Then it should give you mixed feelings to know that I had planned for Louise's 'Kung-fu kick' to end with a three inch heel in Lisa's eyeball, but she couldn't pull it off without a weapon to power her combat skills.

It doesn't matter, trash like you has right to criticize anyone, much less a Vallière!
'no right'
"Something's wrong with my power." Taylor said through grit teeth. Panacea was in the room, had direct access to Taylor's bugs due to the spiders placed on every hostage, and was much more versatile than New Wave let the public know. It didn't take super intuition to put the pieces together.
How can Amy affect Taylor's powers? What can she do with it?
Glory Girl potential murder; shifting eye contact, pupil dilation, and hitched breath when a cover up is suggested indicate guilt. Panacea's control of biology potentially useful in disposal of bodies. Emotional aura ensures Panacea's cooperation.
Uh, what's that about? Did Vicky murder someone in cold blood with Amy helping her cover it?
No signs of physical injury, new healer negates valid method to detect injury. Emotionally abused or severe neglect at minimum.
And what was that, how can one negate a method to detect injury?

Aww, who's a cute little psychotic fluffy murderball? ^_^

[X] Leave her alive.
[X] Resume childish act.

We've come to open an account and we will open it even if the world is about to end, or we won't be a Vallière!
...which it just might if they insist on poking us further.

Then it should give you mixed feelings to know that I had planned for Louise's 'Kung-fu kick' to end with a three inch heel in Lisa's eyeball
Eww. We have just ruined a fine dress we bought with someone else's money. No need to throw away perfectly good shoes as well.

fixed.

How can Amy affect Taylor's powers? What can she do with it?
Amy is a biokinetic and Taylor is mentally connected to every bug in her range. Like in canon, Amy simply needed to tweak the black widows that Taylor put on her to cause a painful feedback loop.
Uh, what's that about? Did Vicky murder someone in cold blood with Amy helping her cover it?
Vicky has super strength and poor impulse control. The phonecalls that interrupted Amy and Louise's taco dinner was the Vicky needing Amy to heal a neo Nazi she almost killed, Tattletale's power super intuition, but isn't perfect with all the details.

And what was that, how can one negate a method to detect injury?
if the injury isn't there, it can't be detected. Therefore the new healer being near Panacea ruins any chance to gather visual evidence that Amy might have been physically abused. Which she hasn't, but Lisa doesn't know that and has a soft spot for the suicidal and abused due to her own experiences.

A Trip To The Bank: finale
"Everyone stay calm, the situation is under control." The camouflaged woman announced as she entered the bank and looked around. Seeing Armsmaster's prone form, she hurried over to him and kept her rifle pointed in the bug controller's direction while the armored soldiers spread out among the hostages.

Executing an unconscious prisoner probably wouldn't endear me to the local authorities... Oh well, I could always find her later to deal with her if I need to.

Since everything had been going well so far, minus the trouble over Tattletale's little indiscretion, Louise decided to continue forward with the plan. To that effect, she ran over to hug Amy and sniffled pitifully. The healer squawked at the unexpected contact and nearly fell over. Regaining her balance, Amy let go of her moaning sister's hand and tried to push Louise away, saying, "I need to fix Vicky... just... just wait a bit, alright?"

"I... I can help." The pinkette offered quietly, balling up some of the fabric of her dress in her little fists. Amy looked uncomfortable with the suggestion at first, but after a moment, she nodded and stepped aside. Casting her healing spell for just a second was enough to undo the damage to the blonde and Amy was quick to help her sister up.

As Victoria wobbled a bit on her feet, the curly haired healer pressed a finger to her exposed neck and sighed, "Well, the damage is gone, but it looks like L- um... Princess's power doesn't work on poison, so you're gonna feel a little woozy until your body metabolizes the venom."

"Heh, I'll take it." Vicky chuckled, giving Louise a thumbs up, to which the pinkette smiled. "Thanks kid, I owe you one. Rescued from a swarm of bees by a pretty princess, can't say I ever thought that would be a thing." Hearing footsteps approaching, Louise hid behind the Dallon sisters.

"Hello Amy, Glory Girl, do you mind if I ask for your view on what occurred today?" The camouflaged woman said with the warmth of somebody greeting an old friend.

Both teens looked at each other and shrugged, so Vicky began. "K, well... uh... I guess I can go first, since it's kinda my fault Amy was here in the first place... sorry sis. Anyway, after me and Armsmaster came in through the back, I came over to check up on these two while he fought the bug bitch. It was going fine until the girl in purple came out from wherever she was hiding and distracted him with her little peashooter, which ended up with him getting swarmed. Then the purple bitch-"

"Tattletale" Amy interjected.

"-Right, then Tattletale started threatening to shoot Amy and her friend before shooting the little girl in the stomach, so the two of us took her down."

The older woman looked concerned and her rifle became a swirling mass of green before turning into a baton when she asked, "She shot someone?"

"Yeah, but that's taken care of already." Amy answered smoothly. "Her teammate also had a swarm of bugs bite and sting Victoria bad enough to hospitalize her... Is Armsmaster alright? He got hit with the same, but I don't know how much his armor helped."

"Well... he managed to block his nose and mouth after the first few, but I'm sure he'd appreciate if you checked him over." The woman told Amy before asking, "Does our little friend want to say hello? I promise I won't bite, miss..."

Peeking out from behind the two sisters, the pinkette stuttered, "L-Louise V-V-Valliere." Causing Amy to slam her face into her hands. Refraining from laughing at the other girl's frustration, Louise stepped out and curtsied, though the blood soaked dress ruined the effect.

"Ah, Doctor Bailey failed to mention how young you are in his report." The woman said, sounding just a little bit smug at already knowing who she was. "Well, it's always good to meet a new parahuman. I'm Miss Militia... are you sure you're alright?"

Nodding, Louise gave a shy smile. "It hurt, but I'm okay now. My magic is strong."

"I'm glad to hear that." Miss Militia replied, sounding far more sincere than she should. Why would she care about a complete stranger. It could be concern over a fellow noble woman, but Louise had yet to see any signs of the woman possessing magic other than what might be an enchanted weapon. "How long have you been in America?"

The pinkette tilted her head in reply, "Almost a week, why do you ask?"

"Really? Oh, well... your accent, I suppose. When I first came to this country, I only knew a few words in English, so your fluency surprised me, that's all."

"Um... my grandfather is a great teacher."

The woman seemed to accept that, changing the subject back to something more immediately useful. "I see, well you're lucky to have him. I really should get back to work now. If there's anything you need to talk about or you find yourself interested in joining a team, feel free to call me."

With that, Miss Militia pulled out a card with a series of numbers on it and lead Amy over to where Armsmaster was. Louise shuffled her feet and brushed futilely at the front of her dirty dress. It was awkward being so close to a friend who didn't know her. Should she say something? What if she messed up and Vicky rejected her? What if that made the future Vicky she knew disappear? Maybe she already ruined her chances of meeting future Vicky by being there in the first place.

Suddenly Louise didn't want to leave the world. Anything she would probably just make things worse and her friend would be gone forever or worse, future-Vicky might hate her for something she said to past-Vicky. Her first real friend her age, abandoning her because she couldn't cast a proper recall and ended up in her friend's past.

Maybe I should just hide away until Master Cynric comes to get me.

"So... that was a pretty cool takedown back there. I'd say eight out of ten, 'cuz the PRT's not going to like that you went overboard on the bit- er... jerk... not that she didn't deserve it. Wanna leave before they come back, we could try to find you a new dress? That one's kind of gross." The blonde asked, unconcerned about the potentially dead friendship she knew nothing about as she tapped at her phone.

A/N: Sad Louise is sad again. On the bright side, sticking to the childish act rather than normal Louise means less direct questioning... for now. Anyone feel up to writing the debrief at PRT HQ or should I do it and save it for an optional interlude later?

[X] Cast blind on everyone. Cast invisibility on Louise, Tattletale, and bug girl. Flee with prisoners.

Just this once I feel compelled to choose the "worst" option. I'm not doing this because I'm keen on saving Taylor. Maybe I'm just curious what our author would make of such a headache. :p

I am perfectly fine with seeing how Louise does for herself.
But wouldn't mind more Cattleya either.

Back In Boston
"Um... Okay." Louise said, genuinely nervous. "I don't have any money yet though. Amy was supposed to help set up a bank account for me, but..." She trailed off, gesturing to their surroundings.

Vicky just shrugged in response. "I have a feeling the bank's gonna be closed for the day. Don't worry about it, I've got you covered."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, consider it a 'thanks for taking down that bitch' present from yours truly." Victoria grinned and ushered the two of them out the door, waving at the girl whom Louise thought to be Vista as she wrapped her arms around the pinkette and took off into the air.

------------------------------

Standing in front of the mirror in an identical dress to the one she'd ruined, the pinkette smiled and shook her head in wonder. To think there would be a second copy of such an elaborate outfit just waiting for me.

"You sure do like the Disney princess look, don't you?" The blonde goddess spoke from behind her, causing a discomforting heat to build up in her head and remind Louise of the girl's aura.

Frowning, she swatted Victoria on the arm. "I don't know what a 'disney' is, but please stop trying to control my mind."

"Pshh, I can't do that, I'm not a Master." The blonde replied, though she did turn it down to a less overbearing level before placing a hand on the pinkette's shoulder. "More importantly... How can you not know Disney?! Ariel, The Winter Queen, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Howl's moving Castle... I mean, sure that last one's kinda blatant with it's anti-parahuman bias because the director had the flee after Leviathan, but come on! That's like..." She groped at the air for a moment. "Like hating pizza or never watching Mouse Protector as a kid."

Tilting her head to the side in puzzlement, Louise asked, "What is this 'pizza' and why is somebody protecting vermin? Is their familiar a mouse?"

"Ok, seriously? What kind of neglectful monster raised you?!" Victoria asked in shocked horror.

Sitting in the motorized raft as it speeds across the Charles river, you idly note the strange feeling of simply knowing where everyone around you is. It was disorienting at first, but now with a bit of practice it has become something akin to seeing vague outlines of electrical current despite the fact that most aren't in your line of sight to begin with. Perhaps this is similar to what the Hyuga child has experienced due to her eyes... if so, you do not envy her apparent need for concealing clothing, you're tempted to rip you sleeves off already and it hasn't even been a week.

Thinking of Hinata reminds you of the change in circumstances she informed you and the rest of the command staff of, your informal membership in said command staff having been made official in the current time of need. Apparently Louise had remained diligent in her studies while you were indisposed... a bit too much as it were, since the blasted girl thought she could recreate the Recall spell by simply reading the magic scroll you'd given her. Perhaps you'd be more upset with her if it wasn't partially your fault for neglecting her basic lessons of late, you really should have taught her such a useful spell immediately after teaching her Mark.

Either way, you had almost immediately spent that night casting your senses out into Oblivion to find her and were relieved to see she had landed in a somewhat familiar realm. It was a parallel to Victoria's realm, but similar enough that you trusted the arachnid-centaur's word that it wasn't too dangerous and didn't immediately summon your apprentice back. Louise should be more than capable of surviving on her own for now and she didn't feel as though she were in mortal peril. Once things are more stable in your current realm, you could rebuild the sigil tower and create an Oblivion gate to retrieve the girl.

The rigid black watercraft slowed as Private Rodriguez shut off the engine and the four of you prepared to disembark on the upcoming dock, assault rifles at the ready. You'd volunteered to go along on this scouting mission in order to find potential resources that the others might have missed and provide a magical advantage against whatever strange abominations were out there. The Gunner mercenaries had proven quite insightful after a session or two with Moira and had mentioned terrible beasts ravaging the lands. Unfortunately, they weren't the best at describing the creatures more than repeatedly mentioning their claws and acts of ferocity... or you were just a bad listener due to having seen your fair share of monsters. Either way, Moira would see to it that the prisoners were milked for all they are worth and disseminate the information as needed.

Once the boat was tied up, your group made their way down the ruined street. According to the map, it was only a third of a mile to this Diamond City. Of course, that wasn't an excuse to relax. You'd all seen what the locals' weapons were capable of, a single shot had torn Hinata's arm off and their handheld catapult had destroyed your tower with the same! It was for that the three of you other than Rodriguez, he got a simple suit of carapace armor, were wearing the remaining suits of powered armor with a Levitation vest underneath to avoid sinking the raft.

Thankfully the march up to the city was unhindered by the wary looking bandits you'd spotted in several places. The same could not be said for the six green skinned giants your group found blocking their path. Most of the creatures were as tall as you in your armor with one being slightly shorter and another being almost half again as large. All but one were dressed in thick armor of rusted steel torn from vehicles and adorned with human skulls. Their weapons ranged wildly; from two wielding spiked planks of wood, to the largest who had a complicated hammer in one hand and a tower shield in the other, to one with a multi-barreled cannon held at it's waist, to the last one that was carrying a green egg that flashed with red light.

As a green skinned and overly muscled hell hound let loose a sound not dissimilar to a war horn, the hammer wielding giant turned toward your group and screamed, "Come! Come and die, metal man!"

A/N: Switching to Cynric was second place, so you got both that and shopping with Vicky. Since the dice roll on random encounters went bad, you'll need to finish the current mission Cynric is on before returning to Louise is an option.

"Ok, seriously? What kind of neglectful monster raised you?!" Victoria asked in shocked horror.
"My mother. She was known as the scourge of Germania, as well as many other lands. She raised my sisters and I under a simple rule, the rule of steel. No emotion, but cruel discipline."

Victoria's downing horror was enough to indicate understanding.

"When she discovered that my grandfather had been teaching me, she decided that I had been tainted, and that the only solution was my death. So we had no choice but to leave."

-Later, at the PRT-
"She told me that she had to flee Europe because her mother was a villain in the Gesellschaft, or some similar groups of villains, possibly the Three Blasphemies, and had decided to kill her. Dragon pinned her accent down as East Belgian, somewhere along the German border."

"So a refugee then."

yinko Yeah, that's pretty much where I was going with it. Mind if I use that snip directly in the PRT segment when I get around to it?

If you like. But it could probably be a lot better with a bit of work.
Well I can shift it around a little bit and obviously I'll need to add more to make it full chapter, but credit where credit is due and all.

Any particular scene/scenario you'd like to see during Vicky's 'help the poor, multi-media/culture starved child' montage?

Well Amy's meeting with Tattletale that set off that whole chain of events was interrupted due to Louise and Vicky/Velocity's death causing the adult heroes to skip the wine and dine at the last minute, so it would be unlikely for her to snap at the same point even if Louise left. That's not to say she is all fine and dandy, but she'd not currently as active in the whole 'don't investigate your father, evil is hereditary, your a terrible person, don't confess your love to your sister' loop.
