Hisana arrived at what would have been called a cafe in her previous life and found Sakura quickly. The pink haired girl had a nasty new scar on her cheek and Hisana winced at the sight. Given Sakura's medical talents, that ahd to have been something serious for it to leave a scar like that.
"Hey, Hisana. Can we, um, talk?" Sakura asked, her voice quiet.
"I mean, we're already talking. But yeah, sure," Hisana replied, trying to keep the concern out of her voice. A terrible idea had started to unwind in her mind.
"My team's mission to Wave... I almost died. I thought I was ready to go on a real mission, but everything went so wrong and if it wasn't for Kurenai-sensei and Hinata I'd be dead and-" Sakura said, looking down. Hisana hugged the poor girl, feeling both sorry for her and ashamed. That should have been her team, should have been her who'd been almost killed by the Demon of the Hidden Mist.
"You're an exceptional ninja, Sakura. But a jonin sensei protecting you if you get in over your head... that's what they're for. There's nothing to be ashamed of just because you aren't as strong as a jonin a few months after graduating from the Academy," Hisana said, releasing Sakura.
Hisana eventually got the full story from the girl, confirming that it was indeed the infamous Wave mission she was talking about. Privately, Hisana thought Sakura's team had done a better job of it than canon Team Seven had - if only because Kurenai had been much better about dragging the battle on the bridge out. Zabuza had still died, but thanks to Sakura's medical talents Haku had survived. The boy was currently sitting in an immigration cell waiting for his application for citizenship to be approved; though given that he would be introducing a new bloodline into the village it wasn't hard to see why Kurenai had likely pushed for this outcome.
