Magical Girl Escalation Taylor (Worm/Nanoha)

[X] Fight alongside the villains – The gangs are a stain on this city, but right now they are the lesser evil compared to MS-13. So long as they are focused on removing the Maras, you will lend them a hand.

[X] Stay out of this altogether – Let the gangs destroy themselves, that's just fine. No skin off your nose. While they are doing their thing, you will use the time for social, exploration, or training activities.

Get the Adepts and Dragon stuff out of the way.

We must find our Fate.

Dammit, as much as I want to otherwise, I don't think we have the time to escalate this fight into a free-for-all.

[x] Destroy all the gangs.
-[x] go to fights and then drag all of the powered people into foldspace.
--[x] Temporal sludge and frost beam on first trigger
---[x] adjusted 'safe spell' flare shooter and flare blade targeted to our targets legs to hamper their ability to escape later.
*Adjusted= hot enough to blister on contact rather than cause minor sunburn and destroy equipment; ala 1.6 merchants attack.

Act like a nail, get the hammer.

(The hammer is a giant death laser)

*sees crowd looking to get stuck in with villains*
Well, I suppose if we want Taylor to betray her initial intent of punishing villains, this is the kind of low point where that'd happen.
Who needs to help Dragon, the privateers, or the Adepts? Clearly that's someone else's problem./s

You have a point, and I REALLY want to stay out of it as well, but.... this is probably the easiest way to whittle away at the gangs, which is also what the Protectorate is doing. We will have tons of support wiping MS-13, so I don't think this whole conflict will take very long if they're acting alone. As soon as that's done we can get back to the status-quo, without something dumb happening like 5 heroes dying to an ambush.

Well, my view of the situation is that sitting out and watching the villains fuck over the city (ie our home) in their street war seems somewhat OOC for us, but I do understand your viewpoint. *shrugs*

Think of it this way: we're gathering intel so that we'll be able to more effectively deal with them when the time comes. Plus, I think it's a wee bit too cynical for Taylor to sit this one out given the huge collateral damage the current spat is going to wreck upon the civilian populace.

Also, if the gangs see our massive fuck off beam and actually go, "Y'know what...fuck this shit I'm out" then mission accomplished :V

You know that doesn't require working with the villains, right?

As much as I would love to have a rematch with a certain cape and avenge Vista's arm we have to much on our plate right now.
Some things that should be taken into account:
- We have to patch up things with Dragon. Not to mention secure the base before maybe Saint decides to go for a plea bargain.
- We are trying to work something out with the Adepts that are frustrated and our conversation with their leader got interrupted after a long bout of silence from our side of things.
- If we help the gangs we end up with friction amongst the Privateers as Kurt is probably one of their sub leaders that will need to be dealt with. And he is our legal guardian on paper right now. Going after all the villains could make him happy but would hurt our relationship with the PRT who are using Truce rules right now.
- With dad out we need to step up to deal with the Privateers. Unless we are disbanding them as without Danny they lost their powered leadership and Tim is a follower and not a leader (plus our friendly neighbourhood Lost Logia made him loyal to us). To be honest we have practically no interactions with them up to now.
- We are not being pushed towards conflict like canon Taylor as we lack a Shard. Plus with Danny's fate I think we would try to at least finish helping Dragon to make it worth it that we didn't go or sent Samantha to protect him. We are a teenager who could blame herself even if it's not our fault. We lack the experience to deal with situations like this.
- While taking out our frustration on the villains could be therapeutic remember that our last two confrontations with the gangs ended up with Vista hurt and then us hurt with a side dish of Sam showing her brutal berserker side.
