Loyalty is its own Reward (A Traitor Legion Chapter Master Quest)

[] Plan Go For The Gold
-[] Yerma Primus (Most heavily defended, will cripple any attempt to reinforce or rebuild their space assets.)
-[] Boardings of Opportunity. (Boarding will only be attempted on weakened or lightly crewed ships and stations, such as counterboardings.)
-[] Use during dogfights (Gunships will be used as strike-craft during the space battle)

I'm not fussed about which planet to attack, but I think OpporBoard is the best option so far, and I think we need to start using our gunships as dogfighters because of how the other aerospace assets were butchered in the previous fight. Risky, but something to consider.
I like this plan, but I think it's worth considering aggressive boarding. We've been having quite a bit of trouble from the enemy's sorceries, and interrupting those would be quite helpful I think, especially now that we have more ships in the system who can drop enemy shields relatively quickly.

-[X] Reserve for planetary assault (Gunships won't be used as strike-craft during the space battle).

I would caution against Secundus, unless we genuinely plan on starving them out however long that takes.

Imo, it was a fine idea to take out the Warp nonsense planet first, but our forces are getting depleted and Primus is the big prize. Now that their capacity for warp shenanigans has been minimized, attack it now with all our strength. I fear we might suffer too much attrition if we go for Secundus first to not get absolutely maimed in the fortified Primus by then.

So, I say go Primus now, with everything we have.

Canonized. If there is ever a deployment there, you might suspect what it will be.
Cool, I'm guessing Tycho dies/is incapacitated and the Mist Shrikes would be called in during the ensuing chaos.

Also damn we lost a decent number of marines didn't we. Not that that wasn't expected but damn.

2nd Company: -22 marines
3rd Company: -49 marines, 1 chaplain dead, 1 tech marine dead, company champion dead
6th Company: -4 marines
7th Company: -18 marines, 1 liutenant dead, 1 veteran sergeant dead
9th Company: -56 marines
10th Company: -13 marines

this is the current casuality list we really need to go on a recruiting spree throughout the sector

[X] Plan Slow and Steady Wins

Personally, I think going after Secundus is the right answer. Sure, it might not starve out any traitor marines but it took us 4 months to deal with Yerma Tertius, so hopefully however long Secundus takes will allow the mortals of Primus to start starving and weaken, meaning less fodder we have to get through.

The third company has basically been wiped right.
Lost their chaplain and champion as well the vast majority of their men. Are they even combat effective at the moment?

Also, I just realised some of the prisoners in the prison break were Kruthans. Neat!

I mean, they definitely are combat effective. They aren't wiped out at all, rather they have half strength.

It says in the update as Severus goes to see them, 60 marines crash landed, 15 remained. Meaning 40 marines didn't crash land, so they have 55 marines left, not including notables.

I thought that they had sixty marines and these all crashed onto the planet. With the 15 being the survivors.

No you are correct, 60 marines crash landed and there were 15 survivors. But 3rd Company was at full strength before Yerma, so the other 40 marines didn't crash. So 3rd Company had 55 marines remaining, half strength.
