[X] Plan: Onwards to Vorthryn (Now With New Power Armor Aesthetics)

Has most of the stuff I want this turn so I'll throw my vote behind it also that picture is just badass.

Just hook them up to the Void Abacus using our Brain Implants. What could go wrong?

Not much if we do it properly. After all Navigators need training wheels to do their thing and a VoidAbacus could be that if we do it right. So we would need a good roll on it is my guess.

We could have split a bit off to keep! Just getting the station was already a huge boon!

We want our allies to be in as good a condition as we can get them. An Iconoclast civilization is one of two factions that people think we can be full allies with so leaving them our entire production capacity was and is considered a good idea by most voters.

Edit: Checked the votes. Guess I'm not voting for anything this turn. Later.

--[X] While you think that black is objectively the best color, Cia has her own preferences too. And black and red do go well together. The end product for your power armor is quite intimidating, a black armor with red accents. Especially when combined with the aura of strength its mechanical-yet-clean bulwark conveys. Cia's new absolutely enormous sword adds to the intimidation factor quite nicely too.

[X] Plan: Onwards to Vorthryn (Now With New Power Armor Aesthetics)

I'm going with this plan partly because I worry about taking too many weapons away from our ship because we want to do more research and partly because the scrapcode immunity and improved Gellar field will help keep Bongo and the Warp at bay.

So bets on what we'll find in the next system I'm hoping for a nice simple time maybe a mining world that would like some food or an agri world looking for work to do because they're sick of burning all their excess crops and livestock maybe a potential forge world location that has the rarer mineral veins. Just a fun time no random violence, no Eldar bullshit, and nothing that will mess up our research priorities.

We could also find pre-industrial civs, alien or human, we could even find orks who have not figured out this space thing yet, that would be very interesting because orks do a lot of funky warp stuff. If we could figure out how to seal one of the Waagh it would give us a hell of a commander, one who was made for war by the greatest crafters of life the galaxy has ever seen... though admitedly that wouldn't exactly be research-light. :V

Thanks for the clarification Neablis!

@LightLan, @DragonParadox, @Prime 2.0 - tagging y'all so this doesn't get lost in the voting.

For anyone who doesn't want to follow the quotes this is storyteller confirmation that the Warp Lab makes all warp research safer.

The quote you are replying to is bugged in some way and not working properly.

Edit: In fact something weird was happening with my post as well before I deleted the bugged quote from my quote of your post.

I was hoping to save that tech for once we get at least one sample of an advanced alloy. It's kind of expensive otherwise.
So...we should research the Dark eldar ship we have then? That would have a bunch of alloys we're not familiar with. The DE have tech millions of years more advanced than ours, that would make their materials... advanced, yes?

Good idea, hadn't considered the other discounts we might get from the DE ship.

Researching it will require the advanced tech lab. Neablis has confirmed that this is an upgrade of the basic tech lab, so we only need to open up two slots of space to add this. This could done by removing any 2 light weapons or one medium.

Assuming the repair bay heals the majority of our travel damage we could research and build the lab next turn. If that's where we want to go.

Why not replace two manufactorums? With the repair bay able to refit our ship they lost alot of value in my eyes, being in the weird middle in terms of production capacity. Too little to insta print a base or ship and too much for the occasional trade goods.

[X] Plan: Shopping Spree

[X] Plan Lighting The Way For Cia, Prepping for Bongo:

These two are nice. Shopping Spree has an aesthetic that I actually like- less 'grim dark doom' and more 'heroic light standing against the darkness'. I like the more positive and uplifting look.

The other lets her choose, which In also fine with. I just think this universe is already edgy enough without us intentionally adding yet another edgy pyromancer.

On top of that, both of these plans get some basic and important Techs, while also heavily boosting Cia to really remind her and reinforce her belief that we really do find her valuable and important. I like that.

EDIT: SILLINESS AHEAD

Plus, what would happen in the Ork stuff when she inevitably fights them? Go fast? At least the other one has 'da best color' and Big E empowerment when facing Greenskins.
