I admittedly don't know what Yara's choices all mean, but I do recommend going for the sea serpent option. I simply find that one to be the coolest of the three, and I think that whatever it will be will be equally cool.

[X] Flight of the Bumblebee (Apiary, Scarlet Maturity, The Defiance Unit)
[X] . . . a great sea serpent, larger than you dare imagine. It moves with slow grace, its power undeniable, irresistible

I think Stairway to Heaven will offer the foundational lore that really unlocks a lot of insight. Flight of the Bumblebee is probably the one Fill-In we know the most about already.

Which means Osanyin was/would have been 34 when Yasmin was born.
I'm not sure about this. Osanyin emerged in 2022 or 2023, but he supposedly died that same year

  • 2001—Leviathan Falls
  • 2012—The Blooming
  • 2013—construction begins on Jacob's Ladder
  • 2023— Ọsanyìn dies
  • 2030—first generation of metahumans begin to emerge
  • 2035—New Dawn is formed
  • 2041—The Susurration/Jacob's Ladder finally goes online
  • 2056—Justice Unlimited forms
  • 2068—the Movement/current story
presumably by rapid Rebounding since no-one knew about that yet. But in any case Jair must have been born 2023 or earlier (I guess 2024 at a stretch if Osanyin fathered the child right before dying).

Then Yasmin (Uiara) was born 2036 (to be 32 at the time of the Movement)
which is 13-year-old Jair at the youngest. But he could have been older, like, Jair born 2018 (Osanyin ~18 years old) and then likewise fathers Yasmin at 18.

Or maybe "Osanyin dies" was a typo meant to be "Osanyin emerges", or maybe I'm just nitpicking far too much.

Now, I have an idea about a whole Comic universe, with some overlaping storylines.

  • The Original New Dawn Series (which chronicled everything until the Susurration; Valiant Red is the main character)
  • The Susurration
  • The New Dawn Series (Starting somebody from New Dawn, not sure who but probably not Novalight)
  • Then writers started the Powers and Global Justice series (which ran concurrently to the Post-Susurration New Dawn Series) [The Powers Series was an attempt to appeal to comics fans who prefer Anti-Heroes]
  • Then NuGen was started because some of the New Dawn, Powers and Global Justice characters were getting old.
  • The other series kept going, but NuGen which eventually was rebranded as Justice Unlimited became everyone's favourite. (Main character Valiant Silver but other members get their own centric storylines)
  • The Movement
  • Then there is the Post-Movement series Project Prometheus (Many Fans where unsure about Project Prometheus, when they learnt that Lady Leizi would be the main character {Lady Leizi becoming a main character was leaked before the movement but nothing else was leaked}, but Leizi's has become popular because the writers are really hitting it out of the park. Sales of her old NuGen/Justice Unlimited Centirc Comics are going throught the roof as well.) [The only people who dislike Project Prometheus, are the Anti-Hero fans who wanted a more Anti-Hero Justice Unlimited, felt Leizi was the best way to get it, and are dissapointed it didn't happen]

For the Protagonist of the New Dawn Series. I'm thinking someone high-ranking, whose been around during the Susurration and died during the Movement.

You can be more, are definitely Arc Words during Project Prometheus, Which often leads to Project Prometheus fans having a call and response meme: Who can be more?, You can be more.

About my comic series idea

I'm thinking Dark!Leizi will be one of the Post Movement Elseworlds/What if comics series. Alongside each of other JU members been the only survivor, Kermie's A Stage Slightly To The Left ideas and us deciding to meet with Global Justice instead of The Four Seasons

The Project Prometheus Fans also like the fact that explaination has finally been provided for why Red Huntress is so very paranoid. It was seen as a Riddle for the Ages/Unsolved Mystery by the fans of Justice Unlimited which had been bugging them for the longest time

I'm think that the comic producers also decided to make The Guardian Wave prequel comic (starring Fantanastic Metal). While the comic series is written after the Movement, it is set around the time of the Original New Dawn.

It's like the timeline doesn't make sense or something and is meant tome provoke questions!

Osanyin was in his 60's when he died btw.

If this is the case there may have been some shenanigans that caused metahumans to appear (and also empowered Osanyin after he would have normally been able to get powers), and metahumans existing isnt necessarily a natural consequence of the Leviathan being around.

Considering the Stage is basically the collective unconscious of humanity, it would be pretty weird for it to have only started existing after the Leviathan fell, so it's possible that researching it merely led to the Stage being discovered and "opened", leading to Osanyin being empowered and the creation of metahumans.

Side note, now that we have something that can pull out the SM energy of a sample, Printemps's sample looks a lot less harrowing now, huh? Any plans/ideas for it?
That reminds me: I still need a description of its uses and limitations to add to the Ambrosia Builder. I might go back to faustian to see if its explained at any point, otherwise I guess I'll have to wing it.

I actually had a P8 or 9 build consisting of him, Crimson Soprano, and possibly Millions Minefield, based mostly on the concept of adding Solar Absorption to a plant user, and then Minefield to boost up the lasers and AoE aspects.

Well, if we feel like making another minion master like Maddie, Printemps 6 + Eastwood 2 or Dragonsteeth 3 on Soraia or Shelley respectively seems good. I don't think Printemps needed existing plants to create his constructs, but I'll likewise have to reread Faustian.

On a more conceptual level, Printemps' Transmutation combined with Adamant's endless fount of metal could allow someone to basically build things at will?

It's notable to me that the first generation of metahumans begin to emerge after Ọsanyìn died/faked his death/timeline fuckery. There's defo some timeline fuckery going on, but I also think there's something more to the very emergence of superpowers in the first place.

I had a crazy idea for the next Magical Girls mission.

What if we had Handyman pretend to be GQ, saying that Azure Dragon, Black Tortoise and Vermillion Bird went rogue and tried to take over (with only White Tiger remaining loyal), and get the magical girls out of the area to a secondary base (Which Leizi provided because she loves and cares for her sister)? It limits their firepower, gets the innocents out of the way, and the Magical Girls are gullible, they probably would buy it.

Probably build up ACC using Dragonsteeth or Eastwood? Maybe Tenebrism if going for ACC and FFM? I'd probably use Dragonsteeth just because it seems the one best suited for working with Transmutation in some form.

And looking at some of the other new samples, the main thing I've noticed is the ACC synergy has shot up in priority to confirm the components of due to Tenebrism and to some extent Wind Rose.

Trail Chaser seems best used if trying to fish for self enhance builds with Sewer Rat on non Lightstep/Red Huntress builds or being the speed on a Man O' War build alongside Daggermaw +2 points of floaters.

Xtreme seems best used on builds that want to try and slot both Autobiokinesis and Phasewalking, and should likely be paired with Soldier X unless on a Nox build. Its probably best used on a Red Huntress build with Soldier X, Mr. Hunch, and 1 of Daggermaw or Millions I imagine?

Tenebrism seems the most versatile of the lot given the wording of the sample seems to imply that the powers the main body has are things that the constructs would have as well, given the Enhanced Strength link. This plus Construct Creation and Solar Absorption means it has a lot of directions it could go. Pairing with Man O' War and Hydrocity is solid, Umibozu with Hydrocity and Daggermaw, a Red Huntress build seems really mean, etc. But the biggest stumbling block for trying for the best build is fully cracking how to make the ACC synergy.

Wind Rose again runs into the ACC issue a bit, but outside of that there has to be some very cracked Adamant ACC build to focus on here. Otherwise the main thing that comes to mind would be a Man O' War build weirdly, just due to the weapon creation and strength getting in to pump the power and Telekinesis further.

Bullet Proof... Yeah, I've got nothing. The ability to make objects intangible and transport them is really interesting but barring some stuff with maybe Mr. Hunch or iSpy I'm not exactly sure how I'd build into it.
