Loyalty is its own Reward (A Traitor Legion Chapter Master Quest)

I understand that, and I'd argue the same with trying to go out and strike a target since w have so few marines on the ground. Though I'd rather prefer ambushes since our whole thing is being good at sneaking around.

I also don't want to sit around and let them come to us. The way I see it is that the ambushes are there to soften the foe and if things go bad, we can retreat to the ship for a last stand.
Hit and run implies to divide our forces making them easy targets for the speed freaks

While keeping our force together atleast means we have strength to counter that

If we strike there least defended point which is the prison we can quickly mope up and haul the slaves away

That deprives them of Sorcery fuel and gives us fodder to supplement us

Also if we are lucky there might be some prisoners that could help us like imprisoned elder or captured space marines, If we attack the prison. Or if we want to be daredevils we could attack the sorcerers spire to both take out the biggest threat on the planet while also preventing the eyes from using their sorcerers on our forces in orbit. Also I say we be a bloody magpie and take the unrelenting zeal for ourselves and if we can the gaze of tzeentch as well

I'm awfully leery of freeing slaves that belonged to chaos. Like, sure, we might get some fodder but how many of these guys will be tainted with Chaos? We lost the chaplain on the ground, so I'd rather just set free all the slaves and let them riot.

unrelenting zeal i say yes to that but we first need to weaken that ships then before we can take it and then there is the issue if we can cleans it seeing most of its time it would be in the warp

The Mutator one would be save bet seeing it has the benefit of being outside eye

But i dont want to create conflict with the Crusaders so they may have it if they can take it

And if we do the Boarding we do it with 2 companies worth of marines and armsmen

Fair enough, but what're your guys thoughts on trying to sabotage the AA defenses at the spaceport? It'd make our landings easier for the rest of our forces.

It has been stated its there most Unrully slaves against there inslavement so i take it has them eather fresh ones or most fervent against chaos

If we dont assault it to take it over then best bet is Sabotage for later landings

Our enemies are experts ar hit and run and supplemented by magic. I suggest we hunker down and send a squad or two on Rhinos, one of them qith jetpack to stealth around and sabotage something.

And because of Secret Level episode 5 and Space Marine 2 - can we send a kill team of 5 marines to wizard tower. I have a feeling what it will need either that or whole army to assault

(Sorry, don't have skills to make a proper plan, can only suggest and votr)

[X] Plan: Simple Reinforcement, Strike the Prison

By the way I am willing to change up the reinforcement ships to Yerma but I distinctly remember someone saying we shouldn't send much to Yerma, a few cruisers at most. Feel free to give feedback or ask me to send more/less

Personally, the prison feels like a trap.

We're attacking tzeench worshippers, if something looks the least defended, it likely isn't. If something looks like it could have potential allies, it likely doesn't.

I agree with that, plus I'm cautious of Chaos in general but some people wanted to strike the prison, so I made a plan that included that. I'm personally leaning towards striking the spaceport to make it easy for our transports to land troops, which is why I made a plan for it.

Also, @ThunderOwl What happened to 3rd Company Lieutenant Cataegis and 3rd Company Champion Scipio, as well as the other half of the 3rd Company? Did they not survive the crash or were they on other ships in our fleet?

[X] Plan Break On Through To The Other Side
-[X] Send through the Fear of Judgement, Necessary Discrepancy, Owed Retribution, Treachery's Doom, and Gift of Annihilation
-[X] Hit-and-run Ambushes: Leave the serfs as a garrison in the Bird of Prey and stage ambushes against incoming enemy assaults to thin them out.

It's somewhat fortunate that the 3rd Company crash landed on the same planet we intend to besiege since it means we can stage a rescue operation without splitting up our forces. With that in mind, I don't think Gallienus needs to go on the offensive here, since the Imperial force is already on its way, he just needs to survive until he gets reinforced, though of course the sooner they arrive, the better. That's why I'm sending out a Battleship, an Escort, and three Cruisers, since that should be enough to solidify Imperial void superiority in Yerma while also leaving enough firepower back to deal with the coming Word Bearers.

Also I think having the Ordo Malleus Inquisitor in Yerma sooner rather than later is a good idea to provide crucial experience against Chaos.

Edit: And now I'm forced to approval vote the least disliked plan which is likely to win. God fucking damn it.
