If the minister of works is Renxiang's sperm donor, then i don't really have any interest in interacting with the guy. Has it been established who the other 3 are?

As we are in the process of building a city (a brand new one) getting advice and connections with experts in field seems like an excellent idea IMO.

Renxiang is at the head of the procession representing the Hosts. In the absence of additional Cai, that means that proximity to Renxiang represents value to said representing and thus the Cai as a whole

Note that Guangli and the rest are elsewhere, looking on

Meaning that as far as Renxiang is signaling, Ling Qi is as much a "face" of the Cai as whomever the Minister at Renxiangs right side is

To the entirety of the Emerald Seas and the Dao specifically
people sit up when u expose a den of traitors and carry the general directly to their sovereign like a horsy carrying Starscourge Radahn.

I think we need to invest more of our time interacting with traditional spiritual affairs hierarchy. Both for Hanyi's tours, and to help our Neo-Weilu project.

Im leaning towards finance and communication simply because we have no ins with them so far. Added to that, theres good odds either of them will have something to contribute to our upcoming Ith meeting.
Be it Finance possibly being a Bao who might expand on what Bao Qian kept hinting at about established connections, or Communication working to establish a relationship of dialogue in advance.

Works would be neat, though thats the sort of thing we already have an in as it were to get him to stop my to offer some advice if need be down the road.
Spiritual Affairs....I seriously doubt anything we do or say during this wedding short of agreeing to hand the Ith over to them will earn us any favors. Especially since were unpopular with the southern cleregy, and Xiangmen is in the north.

Both basic infrastructure people, though who knows if either of them thinks it's true of both of them. Our only interaction with the Ministry of Spiritual Affairs is that the southern Emerald Seas division is sour on us for being a loose cannon.

Wow, nerds. Finance Minister might have something to say to us about the spirit stone veins in the south. Minister of Communication probably instantly picks up on the fact Ling Qi's Domain is touching on Communication Law, which might prompt comment. Especially since she has comparatively very little backing for it among her arts. It's a highly unorthodox approach.

Can't decide! I like both. On the one hand, we could get scolded for not practicing formations enough and expending our spiritualism practice too much, respectively. On the other hand, we could get poked and prodded by a true expert in one of our current metaphysical peaks of capability and... some money guy, idk. Both are funny to me.

Yeah, they'd be setting up the postal route to the Ha, because your new vassals need to be able to recieve your edicts, pay your tributes and optionally write you petitions.

They probably want consulting about how things go down there and what can interdict the route.
