Loyalty is its own Reward (A Traitor Legion Chapter Master Quest)

@ThunderOwl Will we be able to change our Veteran organization policy at Turn 20? Or is this a permanent thing? So if we went with Elite 10th now, we could switch to 1st later on.

I don't want to send them to the inquisition and having them follow their orders. I don't trust them to not get them involved in something really stupid that gets them killed pointlessly like a feud between inquisitors for example a radical vs a puritan. I kinda already don't like our feud with Mitsuhide since the whole thing seems a bit flimsy. The only thing she has directly done against us that I can recall is she kept us in the dark about the Adept on Lezoan. So I'd like to figure out what going on with that first before dealing with more inquisitors especially ones who we know literally nothing about.

Also quick question can we not send some marines to the Mechanicus? Acquiring some favours from them would be really beneficial

Honestly, it's a tough choice, do we choose tradition and get our own hammer but weaken the other companies, both in manpower and talent? Or do we consolidate our companies and improve their flexibility at the cost of getting a traditional hammer?

Plus we don't have either the STC for Terminator armor or Land Raiders. This means our 1st company will be no similar to the battle companies, minus devastators. The heavy gunners.

Personally, I would not vote until we get the terminator STC. But seeing as people are gunning for veteran company, I would have to choose the elite scouts. Plus our scouts will be wearing normal power armor since our Nowalijki are different than that of codex-compliant chapters.
We need to invest for the future this choice is permanent

For the armor and land Raiders we can for the local Forge worlds or a outside sector one

If this was not a permanent choice and we would have the ability to have both then a elite scout would have been nice but we dont so we have to plan ahead

Seeing she is trying to uncover a world samctiond off by the emperor harker and by extend have clear reason not to trust her

Ahhhh this choice is driving me up a wall on one hand we have our traditional 1st company being the hammer of the chapter that even in the Legion days the Night Lords had those clad in terminator plate the infamous Atramentar but on the other hand we can deviate from the norm have basically the Raptors chapter as a 10th elite company and have basically the space marine equivalent of SOG but at the cost of turning the 1st company to basically another battle line company I don't know man

As it stands, I don't think having an elite 10th company is a trap, it's just a matter of what we want. They're both good choices mechanically, but in different ways. What tips me over to having an elite 10th company is how on-brand it is for the Mist Shrikes, flavour-wise.

Besides, a scalpel can be even deadlier than a hammer, if used correctly. ;)

Well we could always convert it into an Armored Company filled Vehicles or warsuits like this
-Centurion Exosuit: 40BP/Suit
Advantages: Heavily Reinforced (+2 Armor), Augmented (+1 Strength)
Disadvantages: Non-Standard (-1 to Repairs), Cumbersome (-1 Agility)
Statline: Armor 5, +1 Strength, -1 Agility Needs Strength

This exosuits are basically walking bunkers and we have a high enough Astartes average in Agility that we could dismiss the -1 Agility, this guys could be a walking defensive line useful for the likes of the Orks and Tyranids, or if we want them used offensively we could always just stick a teleport homer in it and have our scouts place teleport beacons ahead of time on certain places so we could just teleport them in the thick of battle. Canonically this is their wargear.
Wargear
Assault Centurion
Centurion Warsuit
Twin-linked Flamer (one on each arm)
Ironclad Assault Launcher (mounted on chest)
2 Siege Drills
Hurricane Bolter (optional replacement for Ironclad Assault Launcher)
Twin-linked Meltagun (optional replacement for Flamer)
Omniscope (can only be taken by a Centurion Sergeant) - The Omniscope is an advanced targeting device that allows a Space Marine Centurion to more accurately target the foe with his weapons.
Land Raider - A Centurion Assault Squad can be transported into combat by a Land Raider of any type.
Devastator Centurion
Centurion Warsuit
Twin-linked Heavy Bolter (one on each arm)
Hurricane Bolter (mounted on chest)
Missile Launcher (optional replacement for Hurricane Bolter)
Twin-linked Lascannon (optional replacement for Heavy Bolter)
Grav-cannon with Grav-Amp to increase its power (optional replacement for Heavy Bolter)
Omniscope (can only be taken by a Centurion Sergeant) - The Omniscope is an advanced targeting device that allows a Space Marine Centurion to more accurately target the foe with his weapons.
Land Raider - A Centurion Devastator Squad can be transported into combat by a Land Raider of any type.

Oh hey, the informational was updated with the new chapter champion and honor guard members. I say for the three new honor guard members that we fit them out with ranged weaponry, we've already got our first three members equipped with melee weapons.
