Regarding this, wouldn´t Otto disapprove of the Tyrell match because the Hightowers are still salty about the Tyrells becoming the Paramount Lords of the Reach when they are jumpstart stewards?

Otto seems likely to disapprove of the Tyrell marriage, but unless we shout to the sky that it is us who convinced Viserys to marry a Tyrell we might be able to leverage it into better relations with Otto four ourselves. House Hightower probably won't like much the idea of a Tyrell blooded king in case our half brother inherits instead of us and in case things boil into a fullblown civil war, could be bought to our side by offering the Hightowers the paramountcy in exchange for their support.

He wouldn't like it, but it's something he could deal with for the sake of strengthening the crown.

The Dornish are a millenia old bloodfeud. That's so much worse.

Corlys will likely start supporting Daemon's claim to the crown in exchange for the same OTL marriage he got if we torpedo this, then their dragons would outnumber us 3-1 and going against Vhaegar, Maleys and Caraxes is just going to our doom. either we pivot to get daemon to like us again, suck up the marriage and try to befriend them or start pumping out kids and claim the dragonstone dragons like Silverwing or Vemithor.

We would need to start pumping out kids to get the dragonstone dragons claimed.

On the plus side Daemon would never agree to a plan that deposes his brother and would insist on waiting until Viserys passes, which means we'll have more time to get our shit together by getting some additional riders if Corlys would intend to sit Daemon on the throne.

I Feel this is the most interesting option.

Honestly, I think people in fanon way over estimate the animosity towards the Tyrells and Freys for that matter - the reasons people dislike they Freys for example is that Walder Frey is a terrible person, and the upstart line (when they were a house for like 600 years by that point, a mind boggling long time for dynasties in worlds without Westeros's weird timelines) is used because it's a good way to attack him.
In the same way, Aegon putting the Tyrells in power got the other lords grumbling because they would have all rather been chosen themselves, but it was smart because all of them preferred weak Tyrells over another stronger vassal taking over the Reach. By the time of GoT, the only ones using the "Tyrells are upstarts" line are the Florents, who have modern reasons to try and discredit the Tyrells - Hightower, Redwyne and Tarly for example all have no issue supporting Mace, especially when he's half Redwyne and married to a Hightower.
Otto would probably won't live the idea of amarroge that strengthen the Tyrells as his family's overlords, but I also don't think he would hate it nearly as much as a Valeryon marriage or a Dornish one for that matter, especially when the Tyrell wife is not part of the main Tyrell line and Otto is technically the strongest Reachman in the capital.

Additional riders could only be our children otherwise we will get betrayed by uppity dragon seed so we better find a good man to sweep us off our feet and show us the true meaning of love and find them quickly.

Personally I vouch for Cregan, highborn, secures a kingdom through the direct ruler in marriage, has a history of marriage to strong women.

Daemon taking the throne is supremely unlikely, the relationship with Viseys is rocky yes but not civil war kill him rocky. Honestly Tyrell or jut asking him not to marry Alicent is my gohee, Johanna would be goodbecause the westerlings are weak but shes a fierce woman and would really heighten the interior rivalry of the crown i think, I cant remember victaria tyrell's character but trowing the roses the boon of a royal match at this point is mostly a stabilising factor for them in the reach, not an ascendancy level strength for them

I respect the dorne play immensely I just dont think Viserys would go for it, hes too cautious and would see the Stepstones as our attempt to gain some glory and play at war in the narrow sea, which, admittedly it is. i do think itd be super fun drama-wise tho.

[X] "Do as you see fit, father. Just please do not marry Alicent Hightower. I beg of you."

The issue with Cregan is that the North is distant and isolationist, and in canon Cregan had to be in Winterfell to fight his uncle from taking it from him.

Im not worried about it now but they will be waiting until he dies to do a palace coup just like what the Greens did OTL and if Daemon never seduces us he won't be exiled again letting him start his own claimant faction in the heart of the capital with the backing of 3 dragon riders and however many children they have who will also be riding dragons.

Cregan is 11 years younger then us. In the books Viserys refuses a match between us and Aegon because Aegon was ten years younger then us.

It might be possible, but it is a difficulty, and given that Cregan is currently three years old it would mean us not having a child for more then a decade from now.

Still there are other options. Forresst Frey was married to Sabittha Vypren and Harwin might still be good for us.

I don't care if he is the last man on earth and rode 12 dragons I will always argue against marrying a Fr*y
Forrest Frey sounds pretty cool. In the books he is described as a "puissant knight". That his descendent more then a century after his death is a terrible person doesn't necessarily reflect on him.

Besides, if we're counting on the Northern armies to support us we're going to have to throw the Freys a bone at some point to secure passage for them.

For what it's worth, the Freys are only a must if you need a Northern army to save Riverrun from a Westerlands or Reach army, which is amusing that both Rhaenyra and Robb needed that

We can do better than a non-Paramount house (Velaryon and Hightower are special cases). Frankly, the Freys are too lowly from the point of view of the crown, like I also said about the Westerlings.
I thought you were considering someone from a lowly position so them being our consort would be less threatening to our rule?

The Lords Paramount are not that big a group, so I'm willing to also include their principal bannermen like Freys, Leffords, Royces etc,etc as well in order to widen our pool a bit. Canonically Rhea Royce was said to be an excellent match in terms of station for Daemon, for example.

In that regard the Freys sound like a decent, if not exceptional match. It would secure us the twins and the crossing for troops from the north, and from Forrest's description in canon would probably be pretty easy to turn into a loving marriage, so no stress on that part and a good environment to start our family at. I'm also somewhat hoping he might have some of that powerful fertility his descendant ends up having.

Given we're going to need our kids to ride dragons for us, that's important.

Yea, GRRM decided to go with a very flatten feudal structure (kinda amusing given the size of Westeros vs IRL medieval kingdoms), but while technically many of the lords under the Lords Paramount are the same rank, they have an extremely varied levels of power and prestige.
Each lordship and family has its own combination of prestige, power, money and ties to the crown that affect how worthy of a match they are - do they claim to have been kings in the past? do they have large navies or armies? are they Valyrian or married Valyrians in the past? etc.

Velaryon are high in this ranking because of their Valyrian descent, dragons and money, despite lacking in other areas.
The Royces, Raynes, Hightowers and Blackwoods all have the prestige and power to be considered worthy over the years.
The Westerlings and Freys are kind of foils in that regard - the former have the prestige but not the power and money, while the latter got the power and money but not the prestige.

When it comes to Lords Paramount specifically it's a bit more complicated - I think that marrying their family can be worthwhile to gather strong allies, even if it can put us in a more tenuous position in the long run. Marrying the Lord Paramount himself is a bigger issue IMO and might outweigh the benefits, especially ones like Jason Lannister.
I can see married to the Tully direct heir working because of their position being more dependent on the crown, as well as the Riverlands being a bit of an extension of the Crownlands, unlike most other kingdoms.
The Baratheons are actually a good match for a Targaryen (hence Rhaenys's mother being one), especially when they are strong, founded by a Targaryen supporter, and are sort-of a Targaryen cadet branch, but I'm not sure there is a god match with one available for Rhaenyra.

Not sure about Forrest Frey though, he got some pros, but I feel like with the whole battle of legitimacy we do need a somewhat more prestigious husband...

I'm not saying we should go and give the guy a ring right now, just that he's a good enough potential match to be worth considering, particularly given that what we know of him from canon suggests he'd fit very well with our Visenya Reborn background.

Borros might be a potential match for us at this point in time.

[X] "The Lord Commander has a cousin, Johanna, she seems a much more suitable match for you."

All I ask is not pick the Martell option. Sounds nice on paper but everyone in the kingdoms will hate it. Viserys doesn't like making people too angry so I doubt he'd pick it even if Rhaenyra suggests it. Viserys has said no to Rhaenyra before so please remember that.
