[] Caretaker's Wing Inc
-[] An unusual mix of an intelligence agency, charity organization and a psychological think-tank, Caretaker's Wings Inc started out as a organization within Cerberus Order's Five Hearts, set up by a Chronicler who noticed a "disturbingly ignored correlation between mundane mental illness and Chaotic corruption". It's mission is to "find and support those straying from the Star Child's light", which it accomplishes by providing psychological care and education to any group and race within the Federation and beyond. While significant part of it's efforts is targeted to groups found at risk, they also train and support number of specialists whose services are available to public, if requiring payment. Caretaker's Wing is in number of ways symbiotic to it's parent organization, enhancing it's effects by providing it's services to law enforcement, clergy, emergency responders and any other group that finds itself overburdened by people suffering from various forms of mental dysfunction and trauma.

Essentially- Mental Health Industry sponsored by our inquisition. If we get hit by large-scale Chaos infiltrators/influences, some traumatic events, or want to enhance our efforts to help out a certain hive-world...

Okay, so comments about our new traits. While I am somewhat disappointed that the Mad Binary didn't win the current traits are pretty good. The fact that we can create them does bear good tidings as we probably can build more later...probably. More ship production is also just great though at some point we may need to address a...more automated solution. And wholesome Cyberpunk memes. That's also fun. Probably gonna have a specific set of augs for each of the branches and all that

[] Archive Pharmaceutical
-[] A pharmaceutical corporation that managed to rise above its peers until it managed to gain the title "Interstellar". However, it would be more accurate to say that its competitors attached concrete shoes to their feet before dragging themselves to the bottom of the ocean. The most notable example of this is its record of being the largest producer of rejuvenat due to several other rejuvenat producers banding together to try and blackmail the High Council. To say that it didn't end well is an understatement.

[X] Green Horizons Colonization LTD
--[X] A smaller company that has grown rapidly in the wake of the explosion of civilian warp vessels, Green Horizons has gone from building specialist supplies for colonization efforts to organizing and funding said efforts themselves-with a generous helping of grants to scoot the work along, of course.

In a practical sense I'm imagining Food and Colonization sorts of efforts.

[X] Penta-Co Faith, Security, and Fun Experts Incorporated
--[X] Born of the wars of Neon, Penta-Co is a company selling both divine security services, religious artifacts and devices--and services, such as customized funerals--and operating the beginning of an entertainment empire, with five different Divine Theme Parks meant to both thrill and instruct children of all ages in the glories of the Star-Child and the fun of living and dying in the name of the Faith! They can promise that each of their charms is made by a real monk (TM) who prays over each talisman, charm, artifact or vestment. Satisfaction Guaranteed! Come down to your local Penta-Co supplier today, to play the latest game, Heretic Fall, based on a dramatic re-enactment of the coming campaign in Sub-Sector 621! (The company makes no promise as to the name, date, nature and the operations against Chaos in Sub-Sector 621. Adult supervision required for purchase, but product is confirmed to be free of actual Chaos symbols, artifacts, or ideas.)

In a practical sense I'm imagining cultural togetherness, spreading of faith to stamp out Chaos even faster in colonized worlds, and sort of odds and ends kind of focused more on both Security and Civilian Infra stuff.

[X] Industrial Laborers of the Galaxy Safety Cooperative (Called "Wussies" after the organization that founded them.)
--[X] Branching off from the Wussies, this Cooperative "Corporation" Specializes in spreading the benefits of safe equipment and Wussie membership, especially specializing in monitoring and bringing improved and safer factory equipment to the far corners of the Federation. They believe that if done with the understanding of those in factories, automation and the spread of specialized equipment over "one size fits all" equipment or equipment designed primarily for being cheap on the front end--and expensive on the back end in human misery and loss--can truly improve the galaxy. And of it also leads to the organization of Workers Groups to better fight for their rights and achieve their production goals... all the better!

In a practical sense, I imagine efforts to bind the working people's of the Federation closely together, as well as strengthen the Heavy Industry and Civilian Industry fields in a variety of ways, and also potentially unlock options involving automation, either on the mechanical side or on the 'results side.'

[X] Corcrat Logistics Co.
-[X] If there's one thing any veteran of the 1st Neumidia SAG can agree on, it's the importance of logistics, especially when noting the effects of the lack of Andromeda ships throughout the Federation's history. To that end the Corcrat Logistics Co. is dedicated to making sure the Glimmering Federation is well supplied, from the PDFs all the way to the mighty and Venerable Proof of our New Path Battlecolonies.

[X] Triple Helix Genetics Unlimited
-[X] Intent on spreading the practice of vat grown clone lines to less developed worlds, Triple H promises to genetically survey the entire Glimmering Federation to categorize and clone the best gene lines available. So far, their business makes it's money by selling designer kids to integrated nobility who want to ape the ways of the core station, the sale of off brand, civilian thules to planetary defense forces, and aiding colonization with bespoke gene mods. Small print warns that Education and training of cloned people, vital to the Thule's success, is the responsibility of the customer.

[X] Shatter the flesh
-[X] A radical augmetic corporation, founded by a monstrous union between heretic mechanicus, failing proletyzers and recently unemployed neon propagandists. Breaking with the normally insular mechanicus tendencies, Shatter the Flesh jumps hard on public information, aiming to tell everyone about the boundless possibilities of new technologies (please donate). Their rotating cast of public informers, wearing flashy new augmetics every other week, explains complex topics and how people are missing out if they do not buy the next big thing.

I know this is random but I can't help but think how Great Crusade Emps would react seeing a religious faction of mankind be the one that came the closest to his vision(especially when HE is the one making their god), while his Imperium failed miserably in being a functional/sane society.
The best part is that they only exist because the galaxy got worse because of his and his sons actions, poor thing would be torn between being hopeful or ashamed/depressed.

So the most fitting trait I could think of for the post office would essentially give 0.1 actions per turn (only stacking with itself) passively when chosen. This would represent the increased efficiency of material movement, the increased profits by citisens and from the reduced effort by the government. If anyone can think of something more fitting please feel free to speak up.

[X] Federation Post
-[X]
Originally limited to the Droma system, this private postal service has been quietly expanded to finally service all federation systems. Now for the first time ever Federation businesses have a means to deliver their products (somewhat) reliably to their customers in any planet within the federation without government support, massively opening markets and lowering needed bureaucracy and red tape from the establishment."Neither vacuum nor asteroid nor solar storm stays these courageous couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds."

[X] Green Horizons Colonization LTD

[X] Sutler Courier Services
-[X] Originally an alliance of smugglers who decided to go above board when the Imperium retreated. They made their fortune selling luxuries and delivering care packages to troops in the Archwan Sector, and as the Federation expanded so did their client base. Renowned for hiring the best and boldest of pilots who use their collective centuries of experience (on both sides of the law) to safely deliver their cargo with their most capable pilots boasting the ability to run through enemy blockades.

A bunch of former smugglers to give a morale bonus for all our troops as well as maintain the ability to somewhat supply planets even when under planetary siege.

No chaos resist trait upgrade? That's fine, we'll make do with some corporations.

He would be utterly disgusted by you. You are fanatic spiritualists that seek to conquer the Galaxy in the name of their Deity, while trying to incorporate Xeno Species under your banner so you can use their specialities, resources, and population as further fuel for your ambitions, while giving Chaos the double-bird.

Emps wanted a Materialistic, Rational, and Atheistic Human Nation to dominate the galaxy, rid it of all Xenos he didn't need (at the moment) and destroy Chaos utterly.

There is only one point of overlap in your reasons for conquest, and that is the lowest denominator to prevent the posters in this thread to automatically assume a Total War against whomever doesn't meet it. :V

I envision this as either a slow Colonization auto-ticker or a booster to Colonization actions

[X] Jack and Trades All-Purpose Development Inc
-[X] More a massive alliance of skilled laborers and small businesses than a proper corporation, Jack And Trades (originally founded by two men of the same names) have the resources to handle just about any construction or infrastructure job you might have need for-from farmland to hospitals, factories or foundries, mines or resorts, if it can be built, Jack and Trades can find the people to put it together for you-though the nature of the industry means that progress on a national scale is pretty damn slow.

My intent for this one would be an auto-progress ticker for any kind of building action-be it Dev levels or one-off projects like Teelns' Tomb. The kicker, is that the ticks would only be 0.1-0.2, and what project gets the progress each turn is completely random.

I think that people can end up forgetting that whether the modern state of the imperium was intended or not, solely based on his actions during the great crusade and not on any wishy washer personal lore, emps was more then a bit of an asshole.

Even at his best written and most sympathetic Emps ends up as a barbarian king who is resorting back to his younger years to try and piece the fractured mess that is humanity back together again.

At his worst? Emps is a genocidal, know it all redditor with a hard men makes hard choices while hardmentality to its most extreme, and given the power to back it up and none of the self reflection to use it well.

Their are maybe a handful of notable figures in imperial history that WOULDNT incinerate us on sight, and that list includes MAYBE Vulcan provided we don't get to friendly with Eldar children he can BBQ

We really should work on softening our stance toward alien religions/societies that actually works against Chaos. We really don't want to come to blows with the Eldar for example. And going to war with the Tau sounds like a bad idea.

Hmm speaking of the Emperor, you think we can grab more of the other gene seeds? I am not too familiar with which ones aren't like genetically predisposed to dickery

I don't disagree but I am looking at our trait and I can see why you want them to worship the Star Child. Being chaos immune(to varying degrees) is great. Maybe a "at the very least worship our god with yours" and go from there

[X] Cobalt Terrapin Works
- [X] Originally a civilian shuttle engine company founded by the unlikely partnership between Kroop and Kruller: an entrepreneurial Yeeni and an Ogryn Bone'ead respectively. Through a series of obtuse trades and increasingly outlandish circumstances, the Cobalt Terrapin Works (CTW) eventually became a major ship manufacturer, with shipyards situated throughout the Federation. Mainly based in the End of Line station cluster, the CTW constructs a notable minority of the Federation's various voidcraft, but are most known for their efficient throughput on light cruisers. They've also started dabbling in ship designs, although few have been chosen as of yet. The company's heraldry consists of the shell of an ancient Terran reptilian (Kruller it found in a children's coloring book Kroop purchased for him) and colored in a deep blue (both of their favorite colors) with the Single Wing of the Federation affixed to the shell.

Ugh. Couldn't get off work in time, but here's my entry into the corporate world. A company meant to boost light cruiser class construction, as well as a bit of fluff for me submitting ship designs here.

Huh, weird. Thought he would be more self-aware than that.

But that is just about what I expected from the man who can have hypocrisy as a personality trait with denial as a personal preference(Not like he pretended to be a god before or tried to take over the galaxy based on his religious views or made his sons into living weapons with a unreasonably fast maturation rate and was surprised when they turned out to be dysfunctional "adults" or believed he could be the only real leadership for an entire spacefaring species with no consequences should something ever happen to him or anything else involving the thousands of years where he protected humanity from everything but themselves until it was too late...).

I'll defend the work on the primarchs , the primarchs that were raised with a modicum of parental affection actually turned out remarkably well agusted considering both the sheer mental and physical advantage they had over those around them, and from the sheer speed they aged.

The fact that most of the Primarchs ended up as mal-adjusted Basket cases had more to do with the Incredibly poor landing circumstances most of them ended up in, Probably on purpose from the chaos gods. The 3ish primarchs who grew up with good parental support and affections turned out remarkably stable, That being Rowboat Gorrilaman, Vulcan, And Corvax.
As is, Between the Nails and the circumstances most of the primarchs landed in, Maladjusted is not the worst that they could have ended up as... More of them could have become just like konrad.

All in all, The primarchs are a sign that emps is damn good at what he does... when he can't fuck it up by being a patronizing ass.
