[X] Everywhere At The End Of Line
-[X] [General] Fortify The Webway Gate In End Of Line
-[X] Menace Alpha Ship Studies
-[X] Develop mental health industry

Mental health industry. Psychologists, psychiatrists, general care for the mind. Combating madness and misery, both mundane and Chaotic. Things not handled by Medical Services, even with our trait.

Jolly Economic Co-Operation won't help with developing it, and if anything, will take people's attention with the road to All-5 and it's subsequent goodies, so it's now or far later.

Also, I learned a fair bit about schizophrenia and dementia today. I unlocked a new fear. Voting for this almost makes me feel like I am doing something about this fear.

I don't expect it to win, and honestly don't want to be a single issue voter, but I got to keep the memory of this action alive, before we... forget.

Like, this action did not even exist until a few turns again. No doubt there are other aspects of the Faith that we haven't thought to deal with that'll crop up over the next century.

Oh, good point. Uh. Hmm. Which is better, these songs or nailing down the revolution aspects of the faith? Actually, I think nailing down the revolution is still better - especially for when we convert the Asharn families after we trade with them for a while. We don't have a specific use for these melodies, right?

What might be worth considering is doing 3 psykana actions on year 555 though. They could have a bonus/extra good stuff reroll or something. I would kind of die of happiness if we got a blessed turn right now to design a ton of new ships.

I think it mostly is handled by medical services. Like the best way to improve that would probably be to upgrade our medical services stat.

I thought so too, but:
1. How does mental health care looks like in Federation?
a. I of course assume priests and other clergy are talking to the faithful, but are there any people who explicitly specialize in helping people in such a way, either as a profession or specific Orders focused on that?
b. How is the chemical side of mental health going? Do the Glimmerings have access to roughly our level of mental health drugs? Or is it above or below?
1. Lmao.
1a. Nope, only priests, nuns, whatever the local Clergy calls its members.
1b. You have some drugs to ground your Psykers, but assume "Very Basic" for the rest of your population.
The question was asked after taking our medical trait.
So maybe developing Medical Services could help, but that's probably in realm of Medical Services X.

I mean, we might get a Chaos Turn too, every time we roll the dice, we risk a Bad Time indeed.

Yeah, I really want to make a shiny Innovation/Technology/Creativity/Progress song at some point, but ultimately I think nailing down the revolutionary aspects has synergistic timing.

Fair. I'm hoping that on year 555 the odds change somehow. Speaking of, did we ever calculate out the odds on these?

66, 77, 88, and 99 are the bad numbers. 55 is the good number. You can reduce the harm if a bad number if you roll a 5/10/15/20/etc on the negation roll.

So 1% chance of a Good result. 4% chance of a bad result, though with a 20% chance on reroll that so really only a 3.2% chance.

Any way to reduce the bad chances or improve the good?

I'm not going to say that rolling the Chaos number is good, because it's bad, but honestly we'll cope. We have plenty of anti-Chaos shit going on right now, after all.

Honestly the only way to make things safer than, "We can develop an entirely new toolset that can be used rather flexibly, and there's only a 3% chance of something going wrong" would be to invest heavily in Psytech and probably also a lot of the Secret type Psykana.

Like let's be clear, the Imperium literally spends its time inventing nothing new when it comes to Psyker abilities, just continuously and endlessly having individuals retread most of the same ground with minor variations, and basically constantly has Chaos-related fuckups involving it.

Meanwhile we rather regularly generate entirely new Melodies, equivalent from what we can tell to a small sub-set of powers (it doesn't seem like it does exactly one thing like casting a fireball spell, but rather a set of things in a narrow category), on a regular basis.

I also think that is due to each psi org having its own secrets and powers they refuse to share with others more than anything.

"So, you thought the Orks were bad? How about a species of trans-Space Marine radiation filled killing machines that exist solely to brutally murder All Living Beings in the Cosmos?"

Just Edge of the Galaxy Things. And now they have apparently broke into the Webway.

Notably, doctrinally speaking, they are our Counter. Nothing like Turret Fucking Five on a Light Cruiser
They've got a presence in the Koronus Expanse, which is why I'm going "OH FUCK THEY BROKE CONTAINMENT"

EDIT: For those who aren't aware, the statblock on a basic bitch Rak'Gol trooper is about on par with a starting level Deathwatch character in combat ability, complete with Unnatural Strength/Toughness as well as comparable level of Armor on the Body (With extremities being slightly less). Except a Rak'Gol has eight limbs and only needs four to have standard mobility. They're extremely tough, use sophisticated tactics, and oh yeah, always attack in squads of ten to twenty per group. They are constantly boarding you at all times, and they have the best Point Defense in the Rogue Trader RPG. You also can't counter-board them because they fill their ships with absurd amounts of radiation that kills someone who isn't specifically wearing anti-rad armor within an hour or two even if you're not being killed.

Their only weaknesses are that they're absolute dogshit at hiding because of all that radiation, and their Armor sucks compared to most ships. Also, somehow through some mysterious method, everything remotely salvageable mysteriously disappears along with any survivors if they ever lose, and what's left is completely useless.
Ah so THAT's what we are dealing with and why there was a big scare there. and yah, coming from the Galactic Northwest around the Halo Stars to our little space around the Ghoul Stars is a shock... dear lord why are they here and the Dark Eldar gave them Webway Access.

Also that is fucking insane but shows why there were Legions of Space Marines before to deal with shit like this with greater numbers then the chapter strength and more about the insane threats Mankind faced in the galaxy and why Space Marines were kinda needed for some Xenos.

Rak'Gol? Rak'Gol?! Dark eldar Gave Rak'Gol Webway access?! The Fuck you coked up Bondage fanatics?! This is Stupid even for you?!

This is actually bad if they keep coming, Setting aside the Dangers that are Rak'Gol in ground/boarding combat (And the fact that almost every weapons we use is FUCKING ENERGY), Their vessels are legit exactly the doctrine I would pick if I wanted to bully a fleet like ours.

Their vessels tend heavily towards Incredibly fast firing macrocannons, WAY to many PD turrets that can almost literally turn the air space into metal space, and their own strike craft.
Essentially? Every Canon ship that has been seen is Brawler hybrids. Brawler hybrid noted for their surprising speed, if not maneuverability. Remember how in my analysis posts of the dictator how I was worried about Brawler hybrids that can essentially ignore/tie up our strike craft and then proceed to bully our line ships? The Rak'Gol are basically nothing BUT that.

That is really bad for us in a fight needless to say. Oh, and they have spinal Rad-Beams that is noted for cutting through even the toughest armour, Because your not allowed to be safe at lance ranges.

The worst part is in actual combat. Ability to run up, down and upside down on nearly any surface, 2.6 meters standing up and able to swap to using all 8 legs when they really need to motor, Shockingly energy resistant which render they well suited against weapons like the lasgun (Hence why bolters exist despite the logistical miracle that is sufficiently big lasguns), A love of Bionics, and weaponry that is either relatively primitive, or outputting enough radiation to slag metals. They are almost built from head to toes to be devastating boarders.

Also, They love their Mono-edge claw bionics. If this is the precursor to a larger wave of Rak'gol aggression? I think the research priority just became Ion shields, Better armour and such.
Notably, They seem to have a heavily ship raiding based culture, with information of actually Full sized ground attacks being limited, so if they do decide to actually deploy ground armies, we have no clue what their answers to Tanks are, but I don't want to take bets on them Not having them.
And thank you for giving us the rundown of some of their tactics and doctrine and fucking hell they are a the counter to us with the amount of PD on them and focus on boarding. Even if we do make them pay, this sort of thing does force us to always focus on maintaining distance since we need to to avoid them first.

and that is just some bullshit with how they are and how they work.

"WHAT, BY ISHAS FUCKING TITS, ARE YOU STUPID MON'KEIGHS DOING TO THE WEBWAY GATE?!" The Eldar calmly demanded.

"The fuck is a Webway Gate? You mean that thing over there?" Admiral Aspadillia van Herrata asked confusedly.

"OF COURSE IT IS! WHAT THE FUCK HAVE YOU DONE TO IT? HALF THE STRUCTURE IS SCREAMING WARNING SIGNS INTO OUR FUCKING EARS!" The Eldar calmly explained.
I love the use of the word calmly when the grammar is using exclamation points and caps from the Eldar. And was this because we finally investigated it or because they got notifications that another used the Webway gate and assumed it was us? I do wonder what was done to have the alarms going off on it.

. If you know what this is, could you help us? We don't want to have to nuke it, but we'll do it if we can't shut it off." Admiral Aspadillia van Herrata stated.

"..." The Eldar calmly twitched.

"You okay there?" Admiral Aspadillia van Herrata asked.

"We'll shut it off. Keep. Your. Hands. Off. The. Gate." The Eldar calmly offered.
hahaha, that 'calmly twitched' I can't tell if he is just done dealing with us, trying to restrain himself from killing us after we said we would nuke the Gate to a the Webway if we couldn't turn it off, or its just the way we're asking and just being casual about it.

[] [Military] [Construct/Refit] A Fleet - [24 Fleet Points]
Ships are produced at these rates: Scouts at 1 FP, Destroyers at 2 FP, Frigates at 4 FP, Light Cruisers at 8 FP, and Heavy Cruisers at at 18 FP.
You can refit Two Libra-S to Two Libra-T, and Three Crux to Three Crux-S in one Turn.
(Gain: Chosen Fleet.)

[ ] [Military] Design New Voidship Classes - [Available: Destroyer (1 FP), Frigate (2 FP), Light Cruiser (4 FP), Heavy Cruiser (8 FP)] - [6 FP]
From what we can tell, thanks to our history, what information we, the Kil'drabi, Yeeni, and the archives of our planets tell us, the difference between a prosperous interstellar polity and one naught but ash is the strength of their navy. At the moment, we have the beginning of a proud Void Fleet, yet purely defending against our enemies is a great way to get ground down into dust over time; we need to be able to bring the fight to them.
(Information: Ship Classes requiring more FP than you posses take more than one Action to produce.
Gain: Newly designed and built Ship Classes.)
Wow that is quite the change to things. I'll leave it to the planners in regards what to do but we will have an easier time dealing with building ships for now.
