Personally I feel any fluff benefits from the plague warding blessing will be the same as the fluff for the health/happiness blessing

Health / happiness first because that seems the most permanently beneficial to the citizens. Also it makes me think of infant mortality rates, especially the side stories where Hanyi blessed the sick baby and Mama Ling and her friends struggles to buy medicine for their kids.

Curse disease because the looming war with the Ith and the corrupted locations near. Cutting down on curses and sneaky attack vectors makes me think of that hill barbarian kidnapping townspeople to fuel that curse, the ith popping up in sect town basements, and Yan Renshu's corruption bombs under the cities.

Cultivation materials because advancement is LQ's raison d'etre... and because house Ling still has to develop Pleiades. And I'm stoked for temple options for our floating tabernacle.

What's the upcoming arc after Lake Temple arc? That's our defensive Lake art arc, with the fam moving in??

(Also I'm brain dead, we chose the lake and two river spirits option for Snowblossom, yes? To protect Snowblossom's personality right? We'll have to tame the rivers later, but we'd have a stronger more focused Snowblossom, and a more powerful Zhengui by the time where riverine trade becomes a big deal. If I remember the reasoning)

I think that the blessings we choose will affect Snowblossom's personality as time goes in, and I don't really feel the guardian spirit vibe from her. So while there's good reasons for going with the defensive blessings, I'm not gonna pick those

These will give the people health, food, and wealth, turning the lake into something like a patron of prosperity, which I like the sound of a lot more

There's two fish options, two health options, and there used to be two defense options before oracle got axed. Of course the cultivation materials option is winning when it's the only one without a rival to split the vote.
